Melissa was at the top of the list, on Rover, for people in my area so I read the reviews left by her past clients and decided that she was worth a gamble. Before I went out of town, she came out to meet us and I showed her around the house. She was present at all the times we agreed on and sent a daily note and pictures of them when she could. (They used to be feral and love to hide from strangers.) I hope Melissa is available the next time I go out of town. I’ve cared for pets my entire life and previously boarded dogs through Rover, so I understand how important it is to have someone you trust caring for your pets. In 2017 I was an active Rover sitter and boarded dogs in my home for about a year, working with several families and building repeat clients. During that time I had multiple dogs and cats of my own, as well as young children, so I’m very comfortable managing busy households and different pet personalities. Today I have one dog and one cat of my own and am excited to return to Rover focusing on dog walking and drop-in visits for both dogs and cats. I have a wide-open schedule and can be flexible to meet your pet’s needs, whether it’s daily walks or regular drop-in visits. I primarily drive to visits, so I can reach most locations efficiently. To ensure the best care for your pets, I ask for at least a day’s notice when scheduling or canceling visits. Since this is my main source of income, I can be consistent and dependable, giving your pets the attention and routine they deserve. Your pet’s safety is my top priority. Dogs are always leashed during walks, and I adjust routes or pause if other dogs are nearby to ensure a calm, controlled experience. I’m comfortable caring for multiple pets at once, as long as they get along well. I handle pets with anxiety, aggression, or medical needs carefully, following all instructions from their parents. During drop-in visits, I take my lead from pet parents and follow any guidance provided, ensuring I leave the home exactly as I found it — doors locked, secure, and everything in order. My goal is to provide a safe, consistent, and worry-free experience for both pets and their families.

About: I have been a dog own for almost 30 years. From puppies to seniors, small to large, I love them all! While you are away, I want to give your best friend the same love and attention that you would give them. I work full-time during the week, but have plenty of time on the weekends. My daughter is off at college so I have all the time in the world on the weekend to hang out with your pup. I am happy to spend the night if that is what works for you. I can stop in multiple times per day and I am willing to stay the night with your pup if that something that you would like

About: I’ve taken care of all kinds of pets since I was a child. I have experience with all ages and sizes of animals. Small or giant breed dogs and everything in between is welcome. I have experience with deaf dogs that use signing as a means of communication. I am a stay at home mom that loves my animals and gardening. I can introduce my pets to yours if you need socialization. I have ample time during the day to check in, stay a few hours, or walk your pets. I can provide ample pictures and communication if you need. I have a 6ft tall fenced in yard, And two very friendly spayed female dogs for playing. I can crate or leave your dog free overnight. I can accommodate pretty much any rule or request within reason, just ask and we can talk about it. When coming to care for your pet at your house I can do almost anything they would need. One of my dogs at home is deaf and we use signing to communicate/train.

About: I have taken care of dogs for my family/neighbors/friends for many years and have very much enjoyed doing it! I have a happy and energetic golden retriever who is also a certified therapy dog so he loves meeting and playing with all humas and animals! I'm also getting a golden puppy during the summer months so I will be at home a lot this summer raising her. Dog sitting other dogs would be great to help her socialization and her training! I am a teacher with the summer off, so I have a very open schedule to meet the needs of taking care of any animal at any time of day or night needed. I have a house with a fully fenced yard, and a fun and friendly golden retriever puppy to keep your animal company along with me. About: I have been working at a Pet Resort for the past year and a half where I complete basic pet care, cleaning, daycare, and walks/playtimes! I also have a dog of my own and will also be attending college this fall going to learn to be a vet tech. *Please note that I will be leaving for college beginning/mid August* I work part time at a Pet Resort, so my hours a pretty flexible in taking care of any sorts of animals. I really love my job and what I do and I am diligent in providing animal care. I am flexible in providing whatever care your animal needs! About: I have taken care of dogs most of life, six dogs in total. Most recently I had a German Shepherd, Australian Cattle dog mix name Waylan. I started with Rover over 4 years ago and have sat for over 50 clients and 82 pets. To name a few I have taken care of Pit Terriers, Bull Terriers, Australian Cattle Dogs, Great Dane, Bearded Collies, Bearded Dragon, Mice, Hedgehog, and many cats. All from different families and all in-home stays. I consider myself an observant and knowledgeable animal lover. When it comes to special skills, I have experience training and administering medicine. My work schedule is M-F, 8:30 to 5pm in-office. Outside of those hours, I spend with your pets. Despite working full-time in-office, the happiness and safety of your pets is still my number one concern. About: I have taken care of dogs since I was little. I grew up with three little bichon poodle puppies. I now have a Catahoula Leopard Dog of my own.
