About: Having spent some time growing up on a small acreage with cows, dogs and a pony, I became a huge animal lover pretty early on. In my high school/college years I was a frequent house/pet sitter with several recurring families. Once I got married and started a family, we adopted a dog while also taking care of friends’ and family’s pets while they were out of town. I’ve always had a love for all the animals in my life. As a near empty-nester, my daily life has shifted considerably in the last few years. I have a more flexible schedule no longer having the responsibility of a daily driver or homeschool instructor. Giving me more time and freedom for pop-in visits and walks. Having had our own cats and dogs we know how important it is to create a safe and pet friendly environment. Now having a small chihuahua puppy of our own, we do not let him out unsupervised. This is something we feel important given his small size. I understand how important it is to give full attention and supervision to pets while outside and in the home.

Your pet will fit into my routine by adapting fairly well and making changes to my schedule at a short notice. My favorite part of the day is being around animals! About: As a healthcare worker, I have seen firsthand how healing animals can be. I have taken care of many different animals! I love spending time with pups and taking them for walks or to run errands. I have watched dogs/cats/rabbits/etc. since I was in middle school, and am super attentive! I currently do not have any dogs/cats, but I do have a 7 year old rabbit named Vito who is my whole world. I am currently a nursing student/CNA so my schedule allows flexibility for pet care. I am open to shorts visits, drop ins, pet hang outs, etc. I care for pets in my clients home by being attentive, loving, playful, and responsible! About: I have been a dog own for almost 30 years. From puppies to seniors, small to large, I love them all! While you are away, I want to give your best friend the same love and attention that you would give them. I work full-time during the week, but have plenty of time on the weekends. My daughter is off at college so I have all the time in the world on the weekend to hang out with your pup. I am happy to spend the night if that is what works for you. I can stop in multiple times per day and I am willing to stay the night with your pup if that something that you would like

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life, so caring for them has always been a part of who I am. I currently have a German Shepherd and a rescue Labradoodle, which has given me experience with dogs that have very different personalities, energy levels, and needs. I’m comfortable handling high-energy dogs that love long walks and playtime, as well as dogs that may be shy, anxious, or still adjusting to new environments. I understand that every dog is unique, and I always take the time to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. My goal is to treat every pet like they’re part of my own family. I’m working full time so I would be available after work hours during the week and in the weekends. I have worked with young dogs, old dogs, anxious dogs, and outgoing dogs. I have a lot of free time this summer that I spend at home, so taking care of pets is my main focus throughout the week. Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
