About: Hi! I’m an experienced pet sitter/house sitter (3+ yrs) who is passionate about making pets feel safe and comfortable when I’m watching them! 🤗🐶 I am also an active person, so long walks (5+ miles), farm animal needs, or pet medical needs are totally okay with me. I take pride in being able to make my furry friends feel special and enriched during my time with them, so I frequently have clients tell me that their fur babies miss me when I leave! I am also a neat person who is up for completing any household tasks/chores while I’m watching your space. Outside of pet sitting, I have am a masters student (MPP) and researcher, which means I am in the office only occasionally: Mon-Thur, 10am-4pm (~6hrs) Federal Holidays I am off of work. I have a flexible schedule which allows me to come home for a quick potty break in the middle of the day! I am a very responsible, clean, and honest person who prioritizes communication and safety when I am watching your fur babies or your home. I understand the trust that my clients give me to watch over their homes and pets is very very sacred, and I am honored to give my clients the best possible experience. I frequently send updates (i.e. pictures/videos of my activities with the pets, weather reports if there are storms, etc.). I am also available by phone 24/7 for clients to reach out. I am flexible and open to completing household tasks (i.e. watering plants, cleaning, etc.) if need be.

About: I've house sat and pet sat for family and friends since my youth as favors. Most pets tend to warm to me fairly quickly and let me carry them or pet them on the first meeting. My professional career is focused in child care and development. I've worked with 5-18 years old in various positions. My last position was teaching and caring for teenage youth, who were transitioning from incarceration to their parent's home, at a group home. I am used to dealing with crisis under pressure with a calm demeanor and resolving it to the best of my ability. I am CPR and First Aid trained and certified in non-violent crisis management. I am currently available for all the services I specified in my profile Monday through Friday from as early as 10 am - 7 pm. I am also available for overnight house sitting jobs. While house sitting, I take safety/health of the pets and security of the surrounding area as the #1 priority. When I took care of my pets and others i. My own space, I'd block off any areas in the home that could be damaged or cause injury, if a pet got into it. I always made sure to engage with the pets I cared for, whether, playing fetch or running around with them. I made sure they expended that seemingly bottomless tank of energy.

Awesome! Jessica checked in on our three cats for two weeks while we were gone and did an outstanding job taking care of them. Arrival and departure times were very consistent. I was even notified when she arrived and when she left. She always eft messages about what she did when she was here and included a picture of the property. Overall, I am extremely happy with her service and am certain I will book her again in the future. HIGHLY recommended!!

About: Hi there! My spouse and I are lifelong dog lovers who have been surrounded by pups since childhood. Between the two of us, we've grown up with a wide range of dog breeds, sizes, and personalities. We have six dogs of our own, and we also volunteer as fosters for a local dog rescue. We’re comfortable caring for dogs of all sizes and temperaments, from playful puppies to big couch-loving seniors. Whether your dog is active and energetic or prefers a quieter routine, we’re happy to accommodate their needs with love, patience, and plenty of attention. Our home is full of dog-friendly energy, and we treat every dog like family. You can feel confident knowing your pup will be in caring and capable hands while you're away! Whether we’re caring for our own pack or welcoming a guest pup, we maintain a calm, structured environment with lots of love and consistency. Because we’re already on a dog-focused schedule, it’s easy for us to adapt to each dog’s unique needs—whether that means early morning walks, medication reminders, or just extra snuggle time. When caring for dogs in their own home, we prioritize consistency and comfort. We maintain your dog’s normal schedule—feeding, walks, playtime, and any medications—so they feel secure and stress-free while you're away. We treat your home with the utmost respect and keep you updated with regular messages, photos, and notes so you always know how your dog is doing. In our home, your dog becomes part of the family. With five of our own friendly, well-socialized dogs and plenty of experience as fosters for a local rescue, we provide a warm, dog-savvy environment where pups feel safe, stimulated, and loved. We have a secure, dog-friendly home with space to play, lounge, and rest—whether your pup prefers fetch in the yard or a cozy nap on the couch. We follow your pet’s routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, medication (if needed), and preferred activities. We welcome all breeds and sizes, and we’re especially experienced with multi-dog dynamics. • 97% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 96% can help with daily exercise

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
