Shadow is overall a good boy but also a mischievous Pom: he has a history of getting into food or medication that he shouldn't, darting out the door, etc. I've not been totally at ease with other in-home sitters because I'm not sure they're completely dog-proofed homes or that the sitter fully understands how sneaky he can be. NONE of this is a concern when he's at Donna's. We know he's truly safe. Donna was also flexible when we needed to change our drop-off and pick-up times due to change in travel plans. We highly recommend Donna for those looking for a sitter who will treat their pet like their own.”

About: I have taken care and owned dogs for over 10 years. I’m currently a dog owner of two, who we have adopted from the shelter. One of our dogs has serve anxiety so I also have experience in that. I am a stay at home mom, my daughter is in school full time so I have a lot of flexibility during the day and also on weekends. She also went above and beyond to make sure our more timid cat - who hides from strangers - got her food while hiding behind the washing machine. They are pretty low maintenance and are good as long as they have food and water, but we were worried about our long absence since they’re pretty cuddly and clingy. About: Your pup must be respectful of cats please. I completely understand curiosity, just not stalking or chasing. I took so much care of our lab when she was 15 and had Cushings. I definitely have a sweet spot for senior pets. She has since crossed the 🌈. Max is our 5 yr old Husky/Lab mix and he's our sweet big boy. We have love for big and small dogs! We have a huge grassy 6 and 4 ft fenced in yard (we connected to our neighbors 4 ft fence - see pictures) and Max would seriously love a friend to play with or just chill with. My husband and I work from home so one of us will be home all the time. We usually go on a mid morning walk and an evening walk, weather permitting. My kids are 11 and 16 and adore animals. We have a cat, Freddy, who loves Max. We will love your pet like they were our own ♥️ My husband and I work from home full-time. Our dog has separation anxiety so one of us will be home when your pet is here! We have a 6 and 4 ft privacy fence, large grassy backyard. Max gets on the leather couch but not our fabric couch or bed. He doesn't ever try. We wake up early to feed Max at 7 so early mornings is a non issue in our house! We typically go on 2 short walks a day (15-20 min). We're a chill household.

“Tory was more than just amazing. This was our first big trip leaving our puppy behind and she was so understanding and helpful. She sent us pictures of Churro playing, gave us daily updates on how he was doing and even accommodated to a last minute (and very inconvenient) change we had to our plans. After getting locked out of our house on accident she willingly took Churro an extra night no complaints or second thoughts. She even offered to do it without pay (though we would never accept such an offer, especially under those circumstances). We would and will recommend her a thousand times over. Churro had such an amazing time, we have never seen him so happy or comfortable while we were gone, he’s usually a nervous wreck. She is a natural with dogs, and it shows in their demeanor with her. We are so grateful for this great experience.”

I was really nervous about leaving my overly emotional English Setter & a 4 month old puppy, but they had an organized approach to meeting each dogs needs. Both dogs came home happy and tired out from so much fun. She kept in contact with photos and a video which was great. Overall it was a good experience.
