“I’ve never been more comfortable leaving my animals before! Got updates every visit with pictures, super flexible, and my German shepherd adored her. Will continue to use and recommend!”

About: Why will I be your new favorite pet sitter? Your pet’s safety is my top priority. Trust that your good boy will be showered with with love, attention, belly rubs, and walks. General Pet care experience: I’ve been house sitting dogs, with the occasional cat, for ~15 years. From 4 month old puppies, to 120lb senior dogs, I’ve taken care of them all. I also had a stint as a hospice foster. Ive house sat for up to 3 dogs and 1 cat in the residence. Reactive dogs: I adopted a 100lb severely reactive dog (reactive towards animals, not towards humans) so I am very comfortable navigating situations to keep your dog safe and under control. I know how nerve wrecking it can be letting someone look after your reactive dog Medications and bed rest: experience administering oral medication (both pills and liquids) as well as shot administration for both cats and dogs. Cared for dogs on varying degrees of bed rest, ranging from mild bed rest cases all the way to ACL tear recovery and spleen removals. I was a former hospice foster, so I’m very observant when it comes to your pet’s state and will escalate promptly. Caring for your pup: I have potty breaks set as 4-8 hours in the app. Share your dog(s) walk and play needs so that your pup and I can have a great time. If your dog needs more frequent potty breaks, please note the cadence when reaching out. I will always be sure to send you great shots of your buddy throughout the day and will always relay any hilarious pet news I’m very personable and I promise that I will not disappoint you nor your pets! Can’t wait to meet you all soon! I’m a 32 year old consultant who decided to take a recharge leave, providing me with ample time to care for your dog. I’m attentive and love showing your dog a good time! Im also very respectful of your home. No guests whatsoever. I’m a homebody, anyway Restrictions: no dangerous or aggressive dogs who would put my safety at risk. Non-puppies must be potty trained. I strongly prefer non-destructive dogs.

“Sandra has taken care of my pets several times while I was out of town and I have never had to worry about the level of care my pets were getting while I was away. I always feel so confident that my animals are in wonderful hands and they seem to really enjoy seeing her too! Thank you so much Sandra!”

About: I have a dog loving family who spoil our Golden Retriever, Bandit, and a kitten, Onyx. I live in a home in Bowie with a fenced yard, close to a dog park and a community park with a pond and bike path. I've loved dogs since childhood, and I will treat your beloved pet like they're my own. I am very generous with treats and I also let guests on the sofa/Lovesac - thank goodness for washable covers! NOTE: I will now charge an extra $10 flat fee for guests dropped off before 7am. Also please try to be as accurate with drop off and pick up times so I can plan around them. I will charge extra $5 per hour in cash beginning 2 hours after the times listed when reservation is made. I typically walk my Bandit and guests twice a day, sometimes more when the weather is especially nice. Occasionally overlaps of bookings will happen and I would need to walk multiple guests separately depending on their size and tendency to pull. More walks mean shorter walks so I can fit them all within my workday. But on very nice days, I indulge my guests on longer walks in the afternoon. I accept mostly boarding at my home at this time. I can accept some guests for day care on case by case basis. I do require meet and greets for all new guests. I have a fenced yard where my guests can run around and play. My guests also have freedom to wander in any part of my home, and generally welcome on my couch like my own pets. My kitchen can be closed off if needed, and this helps during mealtime. If your fur baby needs medication, I'm experienced in administering oral and topical medications.

About: With 6 years of caregiving experience, and a customer satisfaction rating of 4.9/5 stars, I pride myself on being knowledgeable, patient and reliable. I have worked with cats and dogs from birth to as old as 18 years. I love animals and it shows in my work. I am the person who goes the extra mile to make sure your pet is has the most compassionate and highest-quality experience, whether it’s a 30-minute walk or a week long, overnight stay. I have boarded, walked and cared for pets of all shapes, sizes, ages and temperaments, administering medicine, reporting on behaviors, training, and more. I am responsible, cautious, detail oriented and I am sure that I would make a great fit as a caregiver for your furry friend! I work full-time but have an overall flexible schedule. My mornings are very flexible, allowing me to commit extra time and attention to pets. I do not work weekends or holidays so my schedule allows me the capacity for boarding and overnight stays during particularly busy times of then year for pet parents. I take pet care and safety very seriously. I am vigilant to avoid door dodgers, leash evaders and even the occasional fence hopper. My large, fenced in yard gives pets the autonomy and freedom to explore where I can keep a close eye on them from the outdoor patio or screened in porch. My own animals are crate trained and well socialized due to my many years of boarding experience in-home. I am well equipped to facilitate first introductions, and have the space to accommodate furry friends who may not be as eager or willing to socialize with my animals. Lastly, my SPCA volunteer training has taught me how to identify behaviors and make informed decisions when handling animals or entering their homes.

“We were very nervous to leave our cat alone for a week. Haley was attentive and patient during the meet and greet. She was empathetic to our nervousness and sent extra pics during her drop ins to make sure we felt confident Albert was doing okay. We especially appreciated the pics of his food and water. She listened and followed our instructions, made sure both locks on our doors were secure, and we came home to a happy cat and a home in perfect order. Will absolutely be booking with Haley anytime we need care for Albert.”

About: Since I was young I’ve loved dogs and have had lots of experience taking care of different breeds. A lot of people say I have a knack to connect with dogs with different dispositions well. I’ve helped friends family members train their young puppies over the years and am looking to get a certification in that soon! I currently choose my own schedule. So I have plenty of time to keep your pups company. I’m available most days before 5pm and after 10pm I’ll take care of your pups by giving them undivided attention and leaning in towards their specific personalities and encouraging them to be themselves .

I can pet sit at night or do walks during the day every few hours as needed. I am open to gearing towards client needs and wishes. My dogs are crate trained for when no one is home but are out otherwise. Outs 3-4 times per day and normally one walk included. I feed dogs 2x per day with occasional treats between for additional nutrition and training. I love playing with dogs, especially when outside to help get their energy out. Fetch, jogging, tug of war, you name it!

Alyse G.
“Alyse is very great with dogs, and animals all around. Super loving and caring, and bit a pain over either. She has a Pomeranian of her own and has had dogs as big as German Shepards before that she has owned and watched alike. She owns three dogs now, and is very good with all of them. She's watched my dog for a week straight when I had to go out of the country. And regularly watches a cute feisty beagle about once every two months when the owner goes out of state. I recommend her to all of my friends and coworkers all the time to dog sit. Plus she's super active and athletic so taking the dogs for jogs are not a problem if ones dog likes to run.”

Taaj J.
“To Whom It May Concern, I am pleased to write this letter of recommendation for Taaj Jackson. Taaj has been a reliable and caring dog walker for my dog Koko, and I can confidently say that he is an exceptional choice for anyone in need of a trustworthy and loving pet caregiver. From the very beginning, Taaj demonstrated a deep understanding of animal care, patience, and responsibility. Taaj always ensured that Koko received not only the necessary exercise but also attention and affection during their walks. Taaj is punctual, dependable, and communicates well, providing updates when needed. This gave me great peace of mind, especially when I am on business travel. Taaj has a natural ability to connect with animals. My KoKo absolutely loves Taaj and always returns from her walks happy and well-exercised. I highly recommend Taaj Jackson to anyone looking for a responsible, caring, and experienced dog walker. If you have any questions or would like further details about my experience, please feel free to contact me at 610-762-3839. Sincerely, Monique Sadler-Taylor”

“Zachary was very nice and accommodating! My dogs Zoey and Buddha do not do well with new people and I was worried they would not like him. I had to go away for a weekend and had to leave the dogs at home. Zachary was gentle and caring towards them, and Zoey is my oldest dog (15 years) that needed more attention. He fed them on time morning and night and walked them in the afternoon! He is a great communicator and will make sure they are cared for like his own! My dogs and I are satisfied with his service!”

Bonnie C.
“My dog had to be carried out of Bonnie's house when it was time to go because she never wanted to leave! She was SO spoiled there!! She is the ONLY person I trust with my dogs and I am a pet sitter myself! So that says A LOT! - she was also entrusted with my only child. She will stop her car driving down the road to pet a dog ( especially if it's a hound!) we have stopped plenty of times to help catch a lose dog! Dogs are her children and her happiness! I don't endorse lightly especially with animals! And I think she's a great choice!”

Bowie pet parents share their Rover experiences
Savannah took care of our sweet Molly last minute. It’s my first time with Rover and she was more than accommodating with going to the right location when there was not a correct address provided on Rover. Our poor girl had an upset stomach to something she ate that was new to her diet and Savannah was so helpful in getting her settled and cleaning up the mess. Savannah was incredibly accommodating and I feel bad that she had so much to walk into at her first greeting with Molly. Definitely recommend, she’s very helpful and cares about the dog’s wellness.

My wife and I are incredibly pleased with the service provided by Jordan. This was our first time using this app and it went so smoothly. Jordan met us a few days ahead of time and she was very kind. We have two large dogs so we were a bit nervous initially but she handled them very well. Having Jordan care for our dogs really gave us a peace of mind and allowed us to be worry free when it came to leaving our pups. Thank you again Jordan! We will most definitely be booking again!

Another great experience with Elizabeth! As always, she was incredibly accommodating & conscientious and took wonderful care of our two kitties. She goes the extra mile for her clients, so I am always comfortable leaving my fur babies in her care - I know they will receive the highest level of TLC.
