“Diane is always the best with our senior, snuggly dog! She is our first sitter we contact when we are headed out of town. Diane consistently communicates, makes sure our dog is well cared for, and has gotten to know her silly personality. We highly recommend Diane!”

“Renee is incredibly thoughtful, thorough, and knowledgeable when it comes to pet care. She takes the time to learn your pet, and applies her experience to help them thrive while you’re away. She was consistent with communication at every step as well, and incredibly trustworthy. My pup warmed up to her right away!”

“Casey was a wonderful house and pet sitter! She took excellent care of our cat and dog and kept me well informed on how they were doing through texts and photos. She even took care of our garbage and collected our mail while we were gone. I highly recommend her and will definitely contact next time I need a sitter!”

“I came home to a happy dog and a house that may have been cleaner than when I left! Liz responded to my texts in a timely fashion and sent pix (once a phone issue was resolved) that showed a happy relaxed dog. Moose had developed IBD between our meet and greet and sitting and Liz reassured me she was up to the task. She even stayed a little later b/c our flight was delayed to make sure Moose was comfortable. Liz did an excellent job.”

“April is responsive, personable, and friendly. She stayed in our home and took great care of our cat and dog, who can be anxious and high-strung at times. We enjoyed getting pictures and updates while we were away. Highly recommend!”

“Ola was a wonderful dog sitter for our pup. She was neat, orderly, and respectful of our place while we were gone. She did us a huge favor by staying with our pup over Memorial Day weekend. 10/10!”

“Ashley left my home cleaner than before we left. She took great care of our dog, who had recently injured his leg, and adapted care plans on the fly despite it being her first time watching them. She handled a deaf and visually impaired 1.5y/o Aussie like she'd lived with him her whole life. Everyone was happy, safe, and sound upon our return.”

About: My family and I had a dog named Honey who we loved dearly, but sadly lost in a house fire around two years ago. I love dogs, and I really miss having one around. I thought Rover would be a great way to care for dogs and make some money on the side! I have experience as an emotional support assistant for students with mental disabilities, a role that demands great patience and understanding. I study Mechanical Engineering Asynchronously, and I work as a barista part-time. When I’m not working I’m usually studying, so I thought why not pack up my work and petsit while I study! My academic and professional lives require great attention to detail, so any sets of specific rules/schedules for any pet(s) under my care will be followed diligently!

About: If you ask anyone animals are my favorite thing! I’ll treat your dog as my own. I can’t wait to meet your furry family member!! I’m currently working part time, so I’m flexible are all the walks and needs your dog will need! I’m available all through out the week! Unfortunately I’m not able to bring your furry friends where I live, but am available to come over to the clients house when needed for the pet!

Berkeley pet parents share their Rover experiences
We are so grateful to Anthony for spending the weekend with our Sophie. She's a great judge of character and she took to him immediately. All the neighbors have commented on how well he worked with her and how happy she seemed. We will unquestionably rely on Anthony in the future. He is marvelous!

Mariana was fantastic with my three dogs! She was responsive, reliable, and very easy to work with. I felt completely at ease knowing they were in good hands. I would absolutely have her stay with them again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring sitter.

Ashley’s daily presence in our home during our recent vacation was a great comfort to us and our crew of three dogs. We our so thankful that she made our trip possible and free of a concern about our dogs’ welfare. They adore her and were so happy that she got to have an extended sleepover!

We had a wonderful dog/housesitting experience with Odalys this past week! She is super friendly, professional, and responsive. Our dog immediately loved her and felt comfortable around her. While we were away, Odalys kept us updated with photos. She also made sure our pup had adequate walks around the neighborhood. And she always notified us when she needed to leave for school and when she was on her way back to our house. Our house was clean and tidy when we returned. I highly recommend her for any dog-related needs!
