About: (Promo code ISABEC18963 for $20 off your first booking with Rover!) I have 3 dogs at home, and I miss them so much! In my house, I share responsibility with my family for feeding our dogs, grooming them, and walking them (I often walk all three at the same time) on hikes. Our dogs are all mixed breeds, and we've had all three since they were puppies, so I'm comfortable with dogs of any breed and age. I would be thrilled to share my love for dogs with yours! Up until Labor Day weekend, I am free any time, any day, except Tuesday afternoons. After that, when my fall semester starts, I am free all day Thursdays, after 4 on Wednesdays, 12-2 on other weekdays, and all day on the weekends. In Boston, I don't have any pets as they aren't allowed in my building, but I know my way around the neighborhoods here, and I'd be happy to walk your dogs or visit them in your homes!

“Lily did a great job with Evie, including dealing with some unexpected separation anxiety. She was an excellent communicator and we appreciated the extra effort she put in to make sure Evie felt better.”

About: Originally from Framingham, now living in the city. I’ve cared for animals since childhood, including cats and dogs of all kinds (and even cows, horses, and goats!). I have specific experience with Retrievers and Australian shepherds including training, and I enjoy giving pets the attention, routine, and care they deserve. I’m currently in law school, with most of my classes in the afternoon and evening, which gives me flexible availability. Feel free to message me with any questions! I care for every pet with the same attention I give my own. I keep spaces clean, follow all instructions carefully, and prioritize trust, consistency, and comfort above all.

“Megan is simply terrific. She replied immediately to our short notice request and gave Storm all the attention and care we would! I highly recommend her for any dog walker requests and hope she doesn’t become in too high demand (selfishly) for our future needs! Thank you Megan!!”

“Sasha was wonderful again with my dog Yoshi! She is so reliable and I trust her completely with Yoshi. She takes so many lovely pictures and gives a very thorough description of what my dog was up to! She clearly loves dogs and always gives him extra cuddles!”

“I couldn’t be happier with the service from Carla. She paid attention to detail, refreshed the water and even sent tons of photos which I really appreciated as I missed my pups from being on a long trip!”

“Julia has walked my dog Annie a few times now and is so kind and patient with her! Annie can be a combination of a little stubborn and skeptical of new people and Julia took her time getting Annie to trust her. Annie is looking forward to her ongoing walks with her!”

About: I've cared for family and friend's pets, as well as for the Metro Boston community as a trusted dog walker and pet companion. It's a service unlike many, it brings genuine joy. I'd be so happy to walk your pup! My work schedule has shortened from full time to part time, which makes me more available to sit for dogs of close friends in the Dowtown/South End areas whenever necessary. It's special to share time with pets of friends and to provide them of the walk of feed that's needed, and it's a wonderful way to build community. I live and work in a Chinatown studio loft with one other person and no pets; the space is large with ample running space and clear of debris and large funtiture.

“Emma is amazing. Great at communication, trustworthy and absolutely amazing with my dog. He is always looking forward to his walks with Emma and will for sure miss her!”

About: I've been around animals my whole life, and pet sitting was my first ever job! I love going on long walks with pups and I've got a pretty good tennis ball throwing arm if I do say so myself. I have a few weeks between the end of a summer internship and the start of grad school where I can completely dedicate myself to taking care of your pets!! Making sure your animals are happy and safe is my number one priority. I also love adapting my services to help your pets follow their usual routines as closely as possible!

About: I’ve cared for pets my whole life—raising my own dog from a puppy and sharing life with my cat for over 11 years. I’ve also looked after many friends’ and neighbors’ dogs and cats, handling everything from feeding and walking to playtime I love working with puppies and active pets—preferably walking dogs. I’m almost always in back bay or downtown boston. Feel free to reach out! 😊 I'm flexible, and mostly work from home. I'm entirely available on weekends and also am often in the back bay area, which is preferred for me to stop by for dog/cat care, and taking them on walks. I think I have a natural knack for telling when a pet is uneasy - and I regularly check on them to make sure they are in the happiest state, go on walks or play with them regularly, besides from providing them basic necessities.

About: I have had my own dog since I was born, and through this I fell in love with pets. I then started the care end of it on a smaller scale and then improved once I got more clients. I would go to client's house while they were on vacation to take care of their pets, i.e. walking, feeding, bathroom breaks, and entertainment. I would also walk dogs that needed a break in the day while their parents were away at work. I even started my own dog walking business junior year, but I have a small community so it didn't take off. I got a few replies from this, and did the best of my ability to get there in a timely manner. I hope to end up doing it on a bigger scale this summer and gain even more experience with dogs. I am available all day to check in on your pets as frequently as you would like. I just finished a grad school program and am currently looking at applying to others so I wanted the time in between to be filled with work that I really enjoy. I have a great respect for people’s home and personal items. I understand it can be difficult to let a stranger into your home to care for your animal who often means the world to you however I will work hard to make you and your furry friend comfortable!

“Ben is extremely reliable and kind, and a true lover of all animals. He has been absolutely fantastic with both my dog Bailey and my cat Geela, handling dog walks and drop-ins with care and consistency. My dog Bailey is very high energy (border collie) and has had some obedience challenges, but Ben has done an amazing job reinforcing his training while still being patient and understanding with him. My cat Geela is usually very shy around other people, but Ben has made her feel so safe and loved that she now greets him with confidence and affection. He’s incredibly communicative, accommodating, and truly cares about the well-being of the animals he looks after. I trust him completely and highly recommend!”

Back Bay-Beacon Hill dog parents share their Rover experiences
Snghyun has been an absolute gem of a dog walker for our pup, Milo! From day one, her communication has been clear, timely, and reassuring — we always knew when walks were happening and how Milo was doing. She’s incredibly reliable and consistent, which gave us so much peace of mind. Highly recommend Snghyun.

Umnia always takes exceptional care of my dog, in all circumstances including bad weather, overexcited puppy, minor injury, or just a bored puppy who's been left alone. She's extremely caring and communicative and I always know that my pup is in the best hands with her.

Koda loves her and I am so appreciative of how lucky we are to have her care for Koda. She is very professional, easy to chat and coordinate walks with, and always goes above and beyond to treat Koda like her own pet. Thank you Liza I feel so comfortable leaving my fur baby in your hands

Julia has walked my dog Annie a few times now and is so kind and patient with her! Annie can be a combination of a little stubborn and skeptical of new people and Julia took her time getting Annie to trust her. Annie is looking forward to her ongoing walks with her!
