About: Not only do I have 10 years of experience of pet sitting, I have experience working with shelter dogs. I’ve been with Placer SPCA as a volunteer for many years. I work with fearful, excitable, shy and even reactive dogs on a weekly basis. I make sure to give them the best care I can provide. I have plenty of free time and my shelter schedule is very flexible! I spend most of my time caring for pets or working with animals. I am someone that you can contact last minute for pet sitting! I will make sure that your pet gets all the love, care and attention your best friend could possibly need. I provide mostly overnight care, in which I make sure your pup is cared for in the same way you do every day. Building trust is very important to me, I’ll make sure to send pictures of your dog (or other animals) along with a report of how they are doing and any other info you may need.

Outdoor time is always supervised, gates stay secured, and I keep clear routines for feeding, play, and rest so dogs settle in smoothly. We have two friendly dogs of our own, a Papillon and a Min Pin/Jack Russell mix, who enjoy having new companions around. They’re social, well-behaved, and help create an easygoing atmosphere for visiting pups. If a dog prefers their own space, I can separate areas to make sure everyone feels relaxed. For boarding in my home, I do require that dogs are potty trained. If you’re still working on potty training, I’m more than happy to support that process in your home. I’m also comfortable with crate routines, senior care, medication reminders, and maintaining whatever structure your dog is used to. As a father and longtime pet owner, safety and communication are top priorities, I send photo updates and check-ins so you always feel connected while you’re away.

About: Since I was a child, I’ve had the responsibility of feeding my dogs, taking them on walks, cleaning up after them, and so on. When we got our first cats, I’ve also had the responsibility of cleaning their litter boxes and feeding them, too. Since then, I’ve gotten other opportunities to watch other people’s pets while they go on vacation or when they need some other thing done that would require someone else to watch their dog/cat/pet. So if you need any house/dog-sitting services done, or would just like to have them be on a short little walk, I’m your go-to person! Currently, I’m unemployed, but I have classes at Sierra College on Mondays from 12:00 to 3:00 and Wednesdays from 3:30 to 6:30, and I regularly attend church on Sunday mornings. I’m super flexible. In my current house, I have a gated side yard that my dogs play and do their business, which I usually clean up after. My two cats have a room to themselves, complete with two covered litter boxes, where they can chill and get away from any loud noises/unknown guests. Two times a day my doodle gets fed a whole dog patty in the morning, and half at night, and once a day, my other dog, who doesn’t eat that much, gets fed some dry food, while my two cats get a mix of wet and dry food.
