About: Not only do I have 10 years of experience of pet sitting, I have experience working with shelter dogs. I’ve been with Placer SPCA as a volunteer for many years. I work with fearful, excitable, shy and even reactive dogs on a weekly basis. I make sure to give them the best care I can provide. I have plenty of free time and my shelter schedule is very flexible! I spend most of my time caring for pets or working with animals. I am someone that you can contact last minute for pet sitting! I will make sure that your pet gets all the love, care and attention your best friend could possibly need. I provide mostly overnight care, in which I make sure your pup is cared for in the same way you do every day. Building trust is very important to me, I’ll make sure to send pictures of your dog (or other animals) along with a report of how they are doing and any other info you may need.
“Sienna did a fantastic job caring for our husky dog. She also did a terrific job watering all our yard plants and she washed the bedding & towels before she left! Highly recommend!”

“Sabrina is a joy to work with to watch our lil dude Nico. Her communication is fantastic and she always went the extra mile to ensure he was well-cared for. We had complete ease of mind being away and knowing that he received lots of love, cuddles and care.”

“Maryjane did a wonderful job taking care of our two pups while on vacation. She sent daily updates with pictures & followed my crazy dog mom requests. We came home to a clean house & two happy dogs. We will definitely be requesting her services in the future!”

About: Hi, I have ridden horses since I was 8 years old and have worked at the barn for 4 years, taking care of the horses and keeping the barn organized. I have always had a dog growing up and have house sat for dogs and cats the past 4 years. I work mostly on the weekends but I am able to work around my schedule and have lots of free time during the week to hangout with your animals. The place I am living at the moment does not allow me to have pets, so the pet sitting will have to take place at your home.

“It’s easy to tell that the dogs had another amazing time since have looked for Ginger every day so far (day 3 since we’ve been home). Such peace of mind that we have happy dogs and tidy home after time away.”

“This is our first time using rover and Sam made it a positive experience from the time i contacted her and through the meet and great and the entire sit. We had to adjust our start time couple of times but she was very flexible with that, we really appreciate her for understanding. The Sit went very smooth as well, we got all the updates even before we asking with pictures :) Snow was very well taken care of, we could tell that once we reached home since he was not anxious at all. Overall Sam is great and we will be in touch soon for our next vacations :)”

About: Important notes: 🐾 NO ADDITIONAL PET FEES 🐍🐠🐹 I have a ball python and a fish tank, which are housed in tanks in a room away from all animals. While Rover does not allow pet checks for non dog/cat critters, I recognize they are family too and require care. I will happily accept watching or checking on them if needed ⭕️About me: ⭕️I started out as a kennel technician my senior year of high school. I was quickly promoted to a veterinary assistant position and worked as a technician for a total of 3 years. I’ve also been caring for my own pets since I was young, taking care of animals for friends and family, and even taking on strays or injured animals that need some TLC. ⭕️After my veterinary experience, I know how to administer medications orally or injected, care for animals when they are scared, assist the elderly with tasks such as walking, and much more. Due to COVID, my education took a turn and became more environmentally focused rather than animal science, but my love still remains. ✅Use the code RILEYH05117, or the link https://www.rover.com/sit/rileyh05117 for 20$ off your first booking I work full time with the ability to check on pets before 8am or after 5pm. I also have full availability on weekends. The longer of a notice I have, the more I am able to accommodate you and your pets. I have a couple cats of my own with their very own bedroom where they can find their food, water, and plenty of relaxation spots and solitude from my two dogs, if they ever needed a break. The dogs also have their own room, with their beds, crates, and a closet full of food. Food, toys, and plenty of water are provided at all times, even in the yard. I have a home with a tall privacy fence and plenty of space for the dogs to run around and the cats to safely roam with supervision. Safety, peace, and comfort are my top priorities when it comes to animal care.
“Bryce did a great job w/ our 2 boxers. They're crazy, needy and a little too much for some people, but they didn't seem to bother him at all. We really appreciate Bryce staying at our house since our dogs can have seperation anxiety and tear things up. We also received photos daily which helped our anxiety as well. We will be using Bryce in the future! Thank you!”

About: I’ve taken care of many dogs, big or small consistently for the past couple years. I love to be active with dogs and would have no problem walking them and taking them out for long periods of time, as well as a calm day in. I’m currently just a part time student and aside from other small hobbies I am always available for any work needed! I am also always available for overnight stays too. Back at home I was always surrounded by dogs and I am used to all different types. With your dog I’ll always take them out for a walk, constantly doing different activities and that’ll come with plenty of photo updates aswell!

About: Animals have been part of my life since I was an early adult, and caring and connecting with them comes naturally. As a wellness coach, husband and father of two, I’m big on structure, patience, and creating a calm, safe inviting environment for every dog I work with. I’m active outdoors, hiking, walking trails, and exploring around in the neighborhood, so your dog will get plenty of movement and attention. I will always adapt movement and attention needs to your liking. I’ve handled everything from high-energy pups to gentle senior dogs, and I’m confident with feeding routines, medication reminders, crate-training basics, and helping anxious dogs feel secure. I treat every pet like my own and keep owners updated with photos, check-ins, and clear communication so you always know your dog is in good hands. Whether your dog needs long walks, overnight care, or a dependable companion while you’re away, I bring consistency, kindness, and professional-level responsibility to every stay. Pet care fits naturally into my routine because I work from home and set my own schedule. I’m already outdoors often, walking, working on the yard, biking, or taking my own dog out around the neighborhood or on the trails, so adding your pup into my day is a seamless fit. I’m available for boarding service either at my home or yours for 2-4 days during the week and weekend boarding requests as well. Your dog will always get consistent attention, movement, and care, never rushed or squeezed into a busy schedule. I provide a calm, structured environment that helps dogs feel comfortable the moment they arrive. My home in Fair Oaks has a large, fenced yard with plenty of safe space to explore. Outdoor time is always supervised, gates stay secured, and I keep clear routines for feeding, play, and rest so dogs settle in smoothly. We have two friendly dogs of our own, a Papillon and a Min Pin/Jack Russell mix, who enjoy having new companions around. They’re social, well-behaved, and help create an easygoing atmosphere for visiting pups. If a dog prefers their own space, I can separate areas to make sure everyone feels relaxed. For boarding in my home, I do require that dogs are potty trained. If you’re still working on potty training, I’m more than happy to support that process in your home. I’m also comfortable with crate routines, senior care, medication reminders, and maintaining whatever structure your dog is used to. As a father and longtime pet owner, safety and communication are top priorities, I send photo updates and check-ins so you always feel connected while you’re away.
“Ayla was a fantastic pet sitter. She took care of our dog Henry and our cat Emily. She’s dependable, trustworthy, and went over and above our expectations. We didn’t have to worry about anything. We could relax on our trip knowing everything was going well with the care of our pets. She took lots of pics and shared them with us several times a day that we were gone. We will definitively use Ayla again. Thanks Ayla!!”

“We only had Jaxen stay for one night as we just had a quick get away, but her communication was fabulous, she was prompt and sent picks even when we were only gone for 24hrs. She was very nice and the dogs seem happy. We would definitely have Jaxen for another stay.”
