“This was our first time using Rover. We have a Cane Corso, which is a breed that doesn’t trust many people, and that also needs someone that is not going to let them get pushed around. Nicque was that person for us. She offered to come visit with him as many times as we needed, to get to know him, and for him to feel comfortable with her. It didn’t take many visits. Our dog took to her right away, which put our minds at ease while we were away. She kept us updated and sent pictures throughout the days we were gone. As a bonus she washed all the towels and bedding that was used. We are now able to book more vacations knowing that when we leave we will have someone that cares for our fur babies. She treats them as if they were her own.”

About: My family has had a variety of pets over the years- dogs, snakes, birds, rabbits… you name it! I love animals and have housesit for various family and family friends before joining Rover. I’m currently going to college in the area, so I do have classes for a few hours weekdays, but I’m free most of the day- looking to fill it with some quality pet time! I do work weekends until 2 usually, but will go on walks and give love beforehand and am available the rest of the day. I’m happy to do daily walks- or multiple times a day! Keeping your pets happy, entertained and healthy is goal. Anything they need to feel more comfortable while you’re gone- just let me know and I’ll take care of it.

“Nikki provided fantastic care to my dogs Lucy and Toby, one of which I consider special needs. She sent me daily updates videos too. She even shared some advice that I really appreciate to manage Toby's separation anxiety. Her dog shelter experience really shines through. Punctual in returning a response to my texts. I really think the house was cleaner when we got home than when we left!!! She even washed the sheets and remade the bed so we could just climb in after a long day of travel. About: I have had animals my whole life. I choose their company over humans.I have taken care of dogs cats birds and fish tanks of my own for the past 20 years. I make my own schedule so I'm flexible.i can do what is needed to move things around to accommodate my client and their fur babies needs I will care for my clients pets and home as if they are my own.i have reliable transportation and a large fenced in backyard.plus numerous parks nearby

About: I currently work at a vet clinic which has allowed me to gain experience working with cats and dogs. Not to mention, if there is ever a problem that occurs with your pet I could take them to the vet clinic I work at since it's a 24/7 emergency clinic. I have pet sat in the past when I first moved to California in 2022. Besides that I have grown up with cats and dogs my whole life. I love animals, and my dream is to be a veterinarian one day. I'm currently working at a vet clinic five days a work. Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturday I work from 5pm to 1:30 am. Then Thursday and Friday I work from 4pm to 12:30am. I also just recently started college and have a class on Monday and Wednesday from 10 am to 2pm. Then a morning class on Thursday from 9am to 10:30 am. I care for pets in client's home by making sure the pet has water, food, and medicine (if it has any). Also, by giving the pet love if it wants attention or missing their owner. Making sure a pet is cared for is the most important thing a person can do.
