About: I grew up in a home filled with both dogs and cats, which sparked my lifelong love for animals. I’ve been pet sitting for 8 years, gaining hands-on experience with pets of all ages and temperaments. My mom was a dog sitter for Rover, and by helping her, I learned invaluable skills in animal care and behavior. In high school, I took it a step further by running my own pet sitting business, building trust with clients and ensuring their pets were happy, healthy, and safe. My experience includes caring for puppies, senior pets, and administering basic medications, making me well-equipped to meet a variety of pet care needs. I am a dedicated full-time student-athlete with a flexible schedule, available in the mornings, midday, and evenings to walk, feed, and care for your pets. My availability is consistent Sunday through Thursday, with occasional openings on Fridays and Saturdays. I prioritize safety, trust, and creating a comfortable environment for pets while in my care. I follow all instructions provided by the client, ensuring their routines are maintained to reduce stress. Whether it’s feeding, walking, or playtime, I stay attentive to the pet’s needs and behavior, keeping an eye out for any signs of discomfort or distress. I treat every client’s home with the utmost respect, leaving it just as I found it. About: I am very comfortable with animals. I have a deep love and affection for them. I will learn their routines, needs and any other nuances. I am working part time. Mostly mornings. Thankfully my schedule is flexible. I am starting school online soon, as long as I have my laptop, I can go anywhere. I am unable to host animals. I have two senior cats at home who have become very needy in their old age! My mom and I keep up with their feedings, cleaning their litter and everything else that comes with tending to the two of them. They are loved and doted on. I will do the same for your pets.

“I adopted my large breed dog from the shelter, after he had lost his home of 7 years due to no fault of his. I had been told he howled all the first night in the shelter. When it was time for us to go out of town, I did a test board at a small boarder, thinking it would be less traumatic than a regular kennel, but he had a full-scale panic attack. The boarder suggested a home sitter. The first person we interviewed for a home sitter didn't work out, not a good match. What interested me in Caja was her experience in behavioral techniques, which I had found worked really well with our dog in helping him be calm and relaxed. After meeting Caja, our dog loved her. He behaved as if she were our daughter, who is away at college. Calm, in charge, playful, everything he loves. Caja took excellent care of our dog and cat, and we were so happy our dog was relaxed in his own home. I also found Caja receptive to hearing what behavioral techniques we used, and in reviewing the Halti collar we use with our dog. I will call Caja first whenever we next need a house sitter. We totally trust her with our house and pets. It was very easy to keep in touch with texting for status checks.”
