But I appreciate the fact that Amanda gave us a full and honest report (which is helpful for us to gauge the areas he still needs significant training) and was very kind about the negatives. The most important thing, though, was that he settled down in the car almost immediately. Our dog is a very nervous dog, so if he has had a rough time at a dog sitter, we know right away because he whines and whimpers all the way home. After leaving Amanda‘s house, he winded for about 60 seconds and then went to sleep. Hallelujah! Thank you, Amanda, for the top quality care you have given to our very low quality puppy. I have two rescues, a 6-lb sweet female chihuahua and a 30-lb shy male terrier mix, that love to be around other dogs but who also are submissive to and respect other dogs’ needs for their own space. Having been a zookeeper and vet tech, I have worked on training various critters, as well as cared for elderly animals that need special attention or medications. Because we live farther away, we are also willing to come do pickups to keep you from having to drive to us, but we understand completely wanting to see where your pups are staying. I work from home nearly full time except Tuesdays, but my husband is home full time everyday. I am an early riser and can do early walks/pickup/potty breaks. As we are working on house projects due to this being a new and first home purchase, we are gone a ton on the weekends too. If I am staying at your home, I can arrange to be there constantly because my husband is home to care for my pups. I don’t have a fenced yard, but live very close to a dog park that is fenced. I also have a canal trail right off my driveway and we walk our two dogs on it all the time. My two babies are extremely sweet and friendly with other dogs. I am an extremely tidy and organized person, so whether your pup stays with me or I come to your home, I can guarantee I will always leave things as good or better than I found them. Also, if you have any last-minute travel issues, I can almost always adapt to host longer to make sure you don’t have to stress about what will happen to your pup.

Over the past 10 years, I've cared for cats, dogs, birds, lizards, chickens, and many other pets. Animals bring so much joy to the world, and I believe they deserve attentive, compassionate care. I'm known for being reliable, flexible, and easy to work with—whether I'm helping friends, family, or new clients I've just met. Because every pet has unique needs, I take the time to learn their routines, personalities, and preferences. I also have extensive experience administering medications and caring for pets with special requirements. My goal is to give you peace of mind while you're away, knowing your beloved companion is safe, happy, and receiving the same level of care and attention that I would give my own pets. I would love the opportunity to help care for your furry, feathered, or scaly family member. I currently work full time as an office manager in the Roseville area, but I have a flexible and consistent schedule that allows me to support pet care needs throughout the day. I’m able to step out during my lunch breaks for potty visits, check-ins, or to administer medications when needed. My routine is well-structured, which helps me reliably accommodate most scheduling requests and provide consistent care. I understand how important timely visits and dependable support are for both pets and their owners, and I do my best to ensure that each visit is handled with care and attention. I believe the best pet care starts with following the guidance provided by pet owners. They know their pets best and understand their individual needs, routines, and personalities. One thing I've learned over the years is that every animal is unique, and there is no one-size-fits-all approach to caring for them. I also place a strong emphasis on observation and communication. When I first meet a pet, I take time to learn their normal behaviors and establish a baseline for how they typically act. If I notice anything that seems unusual or out of character, I promptly reach out to the owner to keep them informed. Clear, timely communication helps ensure the best possible care and provides peace of mind for pet owners. Above all, my goal is to create a safe, trusting, and compassionate environment where pets feel comfortable, secure, and well cared for.
About: I have spent my entire life with dogs it's a passion of mine as well as one of my professions. My mom and I run Camp Lisa a dogboarding business in California that I've helped operate my entire life. I am fully capable of taking care of dogs of any breed and tending to any sort of health or dietal issues. Growing up on a farm and watching over as many as 50 dogs at once I have a great compatibility and sense with dogs and animals in general so I am not limited to only dogs. I'm currently working on my commercial and flight instructor pilot ratings however becoming a pilot is quite expensive so I need to put some of my skills with animals to work. That being said I’m not your average pet sitter I charge a premium for my services because I am probably the most qualified person for my age in the surrounding area if you want someone who has spent their life caring for dogs I’m the perfect fit. I work part time at Camp Lisa and am also in school to get my BA in International Strategy and Security. On top of that I am also in flight school so while I may have a busy schedule I keep it very flexible so I’m able to work around clients schedules. I co-own Camp Lisa dog boarding which is a social facility that's able to meet the needs of most dogs however in a dog sitting environment where I go to a clients house I'm very flexible with whatever they need.
