Mel was great starting with communication before her scheduled dog sitting. Our two dogs seem real happy when we got back and doing well. Mel sent photos and videos daily. The most important thing that struck me is how much Mel loved our dogs, so I knew that they were in good hands. I would definitely recommend Mel and we will use her again.
I thought I spoiled my fur babies rotten but Mel out did me. She kept me informed how the kids were doing. I got daily updates including pictures and short videos. This was such a relief as I have had issues with pet sitters in the past. When we returned from our trip, the kids were relaxed and happy. I do believe they were looking for Mel. She is truly the cat whisperer.
Our dogs, my husband and I all immediately liked Mel at the initial meeting. Our instincts were not wrong. She did an excellent job caring for our three dogs, one cat plus the house while we were away. Mel sent us videos or pics including short comments of happenings for each day. Mel baked special cookies for the dogs, gave our older dog a Reiki adjustment (he definitely seems to be moving a bit easier) and kept them to their usual schedule. As we were out of the country, it was very reassuring that all was well taken care of. Upon our return, we found the house was much cleaner than when we left, including windows that had been washed, baseboards and even the hard water lines scrubbed and removed in the toilet. It was obvious that our pets were happy upon our return and we could tell they were also wondering where Mel had gone. We highly recommend Mel's services and would definitely hire her to care for our pets & house in the future.

Mel was fantastic, she treated our pets like they were her own and left our home in much better condition than it was in when she got there! Our dogs and cat loved spending the weekend with her!

A typical day
On a typical day we start off with a good walk to get the system all moving and healthy. We will have breakfast and watch the sunrise, and later. a great sunset if we have the chance to catch both! We will enjoy play time with toys, cuddles and snuggles of course, brushing of the coat, and checking for any ticks every evening. We will for sure have fun going to the lake if your dog enjoys the water. Let me spoil your pooch or kitty:)
