Nancy A.

“Nancy was fantastic and I will definitely be booking with her again. My pup will be 17 the end of this month and she didn’t hesitate to care for him. She was sensitive to the needs of my ole dog and very loving towards him. She provided me with updates along the way and sent pictures. as well. Very confident and sweet. Thanks Nancy!”

Ginger H.

“Virginia is now one of Bonnie’s favorite people! Virginia is so caring and loving and fun! In the pictures she sent of Bonnie i could clearly see how happy my pup was while I was gone. That was so comforting, and I knew my home and my Bonnie girl were in great hands. I definitely have Virginia on my phone’s Favorites list for when I need expert, skilled, loving, attentive dog care again.”

Lorena I.

“Lorena really made the effort to connect with my dog. It felt like she was trying to learn his language, his preferences, and meet his needs to the best of her ability. She did the work with heart. I appreciated the daily updates, photos, videos of my dog. He looked happy, calm, and secure. Lorena regularly asked questions, which meant I didn't have to anticipate everything. She didn't cut corners or make assumptions in her work. She asked and followed through with my requests. Insofar as taking care of our home, the home was left exactly as I left it. Lorena did a nice job of being present, being responsible, and treating the home with respect. Will absolutely rebook with her in the future.”

Shayna W.

“Shayna stayed at our home for 5 days while we were gone on vacation. We’ve been nervous to leave our two herding breed dogs with a pet sitter as they don’t warm up to strangers quickly. But this was not the case with Shayna. She was so calm and relaxed meeting them that they quickly relaxed with her. Shayna is very professional and conscientious and she was great about communicating on medications for our dog with Addison’s. This made it easy for us to relax and enjoy our trip! The house was clean and well cared for and we are so happy to have found a pet sitter that our dogs like and trust. I highly recommend Shayna!”

Nicque M.

“She can be available upon request. Which is excellent for those of us that are working on the run. She is reliable consistent and very attractive to our animals. Our animals love her will work with her and enjoy her companionship. She is lovely and friendly to the adults. And very responsible to the welfare of the animals. I hope you all enjoy her as much as we have in a last-minute need.”

Tayler M.

“Tayler was wonderful, I could tel right away she was a total dog person. She was so attentive to all three of my fur babies. she sent pictures throughout the day. I will definitely be calling her again to come over and watch our home and the dogs.”

Sarah K.

“Sarah sent lots of "live" photos so i could always see how happy and/or snuggly my pups were. She's a great communicator and really helped me out when my garage door acted weird during her dog/house sitting. Highly recommend!”

Julie C.
“I've known Julie for nearly 20 years and throughout that time she has always LOVED pets. Kind and thoughtful, she's pet-sat my cats for me when I traveled and I can honestly say she takes better care of them then I do.”

Julia B.

“We absolutely loved Julia and so did the pups! It was a little strange when we got home, you couldn’t tell that anyone had been here, the house looked exactly like it did when we left! Julia was so great taking photos of our babies and sending them every day. When she had any question about something, she had the confidence to ask. Excellent job Julia, thank you!!!”

With over 18 years of dedicated experience in caring for and training dogs from all walks of life, we ensure a safe and stimulating environment for dogs of all temperaments and sizes. What sets us apart is not just our experience, but also our commitment to nurturing their physical and mental well-being. As AKC Canine Good Citizen Evaluators and AKC FIT Instructors, we maintain a rigorous regimen of physical activity, covering approximately 30 miles of walks, hikes, and runs weekly, encouraging a healthy lifestyle for all our canine guests. Our home also boasts a securely fenced 1-acre pasture covered yard that the dogs can play in and enjoy with full in and out privileges. In our home, we foster a community where dogs can socialize seamlessly with our well-behaved resident dogs, promoting positive interaction and confidence-building. We are equipped to accommodate the unique needs of every dog, providing spacious crates and beds for their comfort, and the flexibility to separate dogs based on their comfort and social preferences. Safety and well-being are our priorities, substantiated by our certifications in Pet CPR and First Aid, coupled with comprehensive insurance to ensure peace of mind for you. Moreover, we extend the experience by offering additional services such as training and photography during their stay, capturing those blissful moments and developmental milestones. By choosing us, you are not just selecting a sitter but a dedicated family committed to enriching your dog's life with a plethora of experiences, nurturing their growth and happiness in a home away from home. Our days are woven around a meticulously designed routine that guarantees a fulfilling and excellent experience for our canine guests. Each day kick-starts with a refreshing 3+ mile walk in the morning, where a carefully selected group of dogs, based on their individual needs and physical conditions, are given the opportunity to stretch their legs and adventure. Being work-from-home professionals, we can afford to integrate pet care seamlessly into our daily routine, ensuring that the dogs have free access both indoors and outdoors, under watchful supervision to guarantee their safety and well-being. This flexibility allows us to nurture a harmonious environment where the dogs can explore, play, and interact throughout the day. We sprinkle short training sessions or playful breaks across the day, fostering both mental stimulation and physical activity for our guests. As the day transitions to evening, we engage the dogs in another round of shorter walks or hikes to ensure they get the necessary exercise before winding down for the night. Meal times are punctual and aligned with individual preferences, with feeding sessions scheduled for morning and evening, while also accommodating the unique dietary schedules of our guests. At night, the dogs retire to the comfort and security of their crates. For those who are crate-anxious or in the puppy stage, we have the provision of staying in our bedroom to facilitate a sense of calm and allow for necessary night-time outings. This approach not only ensures their comfort but also fosters a close bond, assuring them of a loving presence at all times. Pet care isn't just a routine; it's a labor of love, we prioritize the well-being and happiness of our canine guests, mirroring a home away from home experience filled with affection, safety, and lots of fun. At our home, we prioritize the safety and well-being of all our furry guests. We've taken comprehensive measures to prevent mishaps or accidents at our home: Safety Measures: Our premises are designed to section off different parts of the house and yard to create safe and separate areas as needed. We have around-the-clock surveillance through cameras installed in the main areas of the house and backyard, equipped with alert setups. Additionally, we have secure crates of various sizes available, ensuring that every dog can be separated safely if necessary. Prepared for emergencies, we have a first aid and disaster kit onsite and are in close contact with our local vet and the nearest emergency vet facilities. Introductions and Interactions: When it comes to introducing guest dogs to our own dogs, we proceed with utmost caution and supervision. Initial introductions are facilitated through a gate that allows the dogs to see and smell each other without direct contact, giving them time to settle and get accustomed to each other's presence. We gradually progress, allowing the newcomer to meet our most well-mannered dogs first. These introductions are always supervised, and we rely on our expertise in interpreting canine body language to judge the right pace and time for further interactions. Emergency Protocols: We are certified in Pet CPR and First Aid, ready to respond swiftly in case of any emergency. We have an established emergency plan that covers various situations, including those that might require vet care or evacuation procedures. Environmental Enrichment: Our home offers a stimulating and joyous environment for your pet. Besides our expansive yard, we offer mental stimulation through walks, training sessions, toys, activity mats, and more, ensuring a happy stay for all pets in our care. We are fully committed to providing a nurturing, safe, and trust-worthy environment where your pets can thrive and enjoy their time.

About: I’ve owned and taken care of dogs all my life. From feeding, bathing, playing, and loving them. Dogs have always been a huge part of my life! Since retiring over 6 years ago I’m able to spend my days and nights with my furry friends who love to play and snuggle and do all the things dogs do. Both front and back yards are fenced and our two dogs can run and play with your dogs. If needed, we can crate yours if you choose. We also have extra beds for guest dogs if you want.

Megan S.

“We were so nervous to leave our 10 week old puppy so soon after bringing her home, but Megan eased all of our worries. She was so wonderful with our pup- helping with training, taking her out frequently, and sending us pictures and updates. She also left the house spotless. I can’t recommend her enough!”

About: I know how difficult it can be to find the perfect pet sitter. I have had dogs and cats my entire professional career, which means, working 40+ hours a week and being required to travel. I have a lot of experience scrolling through Rover and asking friends and neighbors if anyone could watch the fur babies. Now I am in a position to offer what I know to be a great need in the pet community. I provide only the trust, care, and attention that I expect when inviting someone into my home to care for my beloved fur baby!! I have had pets my whole life. My dogs have been medium to large and I currently have a yellow lab. My cats lived long happy lives (one was 21 years!). All of my pets were acquired as puppies or kittens. While attending college, getting a Master’s Degree in Zoology, I worked as a vet technician. I am experienced giving medications, insulin, and fluids working as a technician and while caring for my own senior pets. I am retired (25 years in law enforcement) and find caring for animals a very fulfilling use of my time. I am available seven days a week and can schedule multiple visits per day if needed. Prices on Rover include their service fee, my fee is less and prices can be negotiated depending on your specific needs. I am very relaxed with animals and will make them feel at ease while caring for them. Their trust, as well as yours, is paramount in establishing a comfortable relationship that will benefit everyone. I am reliable, trustworthy, punctual, and most of all, enjoy spending quality time with my fur baby and will with yours too! Routine is very important to animals and when part of the pack leaves it is essential that the routine remains as stable as possible. I will listen to you and learn your pet’s routine to help reduce any stress while you are away.
