I have traveled all around the United States for work and have been using Rover to find people to help take care of my golden retriever Nala since 2016. Through Rover, I've had fantastic success finding just the right people to help with Nala while I work. But no one, ever, has shown so much dedication and love for my dog the way Ashley has. She is professional, intelligent, extremely knowledgeable about animals and is a very kind person. The communication I received from Ashely was over the top in the best way! I loved the play by play pictures of my dog's outings. I felt like I was right there with them! Nala absolutely loves Ashely, they are best buds and I trust her completely with Nala. From all the cowgirl adventures to the fun hat fashion shows and long hikes on the beautiful trails around Grass Valley, my dog was living her best life! About: I grew up in Hawai'i with 3 sweet, older pits, pretending to eat grass as one of the pack. Always looked forward to playing with friends dogs after school and taking them to the beach with us. My first job at 12 years old was puppy sitting my neighbors golden retriever, what a joy! I've walked and watched friends dogs throughout and after college, and worked at 2 daycare & boarding facilities. Fell in love with every dog big or small, young and old! We cared for all ages and accommodated strict diets, oral meds and ear drops etc. Enjoying raising a 1 y.o. Cane Corso now with my boyfriend of 10+ years. I love pets, plants and art. Currently freelancing from home, I'd love to meet and care for the pets in my community! As my freelance projects fluctuate my schedule is generally flexible for dropins and walks after 12 noon during the weekdays, after I get my puppy tired! We will adhere to your house rules and boundaries during drop ins or walks. Happy to drive to a nearby park if within reasonable distance. Your dog will likely show me their route around the neighborhood :)
