About: I have taken care of dogs of all breeds for 15 years. I am incredibly responsible and great with animals!! I’ve trained multiple dogs! Young and old, breeds do not scare me nor does certain behaviors! I have lots of experience. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine, and I make it a priority to give pets consistent attention, exercise, and companionship. I have a flexible schedule, which allows me to accommodate morning, afternoon, and evening visits, as well as overnight care if needed. I plan my day around the pets I’m caring for to ensure they get timely walks, meals, playtime, and any specific care they require. I’m reliable, communicative, and committed to keeping pets happy and comfortable while their owners are away. I am a very attentive pet sitter, making sure to watch them while in the home and be with them at all time while outside!

About: We are a family full of love for pets! My Husband has volunteered at Sammies Friends walking dogs, and at home we have three indoor-outdoor cats, and a Chihuahua named Bella who’s 10 (my Daughter’s). We had to put down our 14-year-old chocolate lab named Yotis a few years ago, and was my Husband’s best friend! My Son’s 12 year old German Shepard Zani passed a couple years ago as well, and she was the best dog addition to this family. We have always had dogs and cats in the home, and all are friends with each other and they each have unique personalities! We have a dog park nearby as well! The oldest cat I have had was a tabby named Chica, and got her at 8 weeks old when I was 16, and she was 15 when she passed!!! Our pets are our fur family and we love them all!!! Kids are all grown up now, and my Husband is gone a lot as a Fire Captain, so I am more than willing and available to housesit dogs and/or cats in your home. It’s a great opportunity to meet new people and pets. My Husband works 3 days on, 4 days off and likes to help with your pets as well. He is a Dog Whisperer, and I am the Cat Lady! We love taking nature walks, and have both been on Rover since before COVID in 2019. I am available at any time due to my kids being older now, amd we don’t currently have a dog of our own. I love getting out of the house and exploring new neighborhoods and areas especially during Spring and summer. We have resided in Nevada County for decades! We don’t dog board due to having too many household members and pets already, but in your home they are taken care of exactly how they should be. With compassion and love.

About: I specialize in providing quality care for cats, dogs, rodents, and reptiles/amphibians. I have extensive experience caring for animals from all walks of life (pun intended), from senior pets who require some extra special attention to the many creatures that typically go unappreciated (especially those of the scaly or slimy variety). I'm not afraid to get down and dirty with pets and have endless patience and understanding when it comes to accidents, behavioral issues, or any of the other less glamorous aspects of pet ownership. I have over a decade of experience with dog, cat, and reptile caretaking, some experience with rodent and bird caretaking, and I am always willing to learn more so I may satisfy your pet needs to a T. I think of and treat pets like the family they are and am dedicated to ensuring and promoting their wellbeing; night or day, rain or shine, I will be there for you and your pets. My availability for daycare drop-offs/pick-ups is 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Drop-ins and all-day sitting (non-overnight) is 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. For overnight services (currently unavailable) any start or end time is acceptable. Same-day booking is available and I’m typically available during holidays except Christmas. Currently I cannot stay overnight but can sit all day at your home multiple days in a row (I just need to go home to sleep). I provide undivided attention to pets and specialized care according to your instructions. My own dog is small, calm, and well-behaved so he is not to worry about when interacting with your pet in my home during doggy daycare. The other dog I live with barks upon first meeting but otherwise does not act out. For day care: The house is large as is the backyard with plenty of room to run around. There is no fence but neither backyards flanking ours have dogs, if that is a concern. My family has no qualms about dogs on furniture so if your baby is a couch potato he/she is more than welcome. I do ask you bring your own leashes, food bowls, and food for your dog for day care. For sitting you can trust me to be prudent, responsible, caring, and dedicated to your pet's wellbeing, as well as respectful of your home's interior and exterior. I can bathe short-hair and medium-hair dogs up to 30 lbs as long as you have a detachable shower wand and your dog is not allergic to the chemicals in dog shampoo. Pricing depends on the size of your dog and extent of services requested. ≤10lbs = $10; >10lbs = $1 per pound (15lbs = $15 and so on).

About: I grew up in Hawai'i with 3 sweet, older pits, pretending to eat grass as one of the pack. Always looked forward to playing with friends dogs after school and taking them to the beach with us. My first job at 12 years old was puppy sitting my neighbors golden retriever, I was hooked! I've walked and watched friends dogs throughout and after college, worked at 2 daycare & boarding facilities. Fell in love with every dog big or small, young and old! We cared for all ages and accommodated strict diets, oral meds and ear drops etc. I'd love to meet and care for the pets in my community on my free time. *Recently adopted 2 yr old Corso requiring slow socialization, will hopefully be able to accept daycare and boarding again soon. While I freelance from home and maintain several clients gardens, my schedule is flexible enough to check on your pup, go for walks and get them tired and tended to so they are happy to relax! I will adhere to your house rules and boundaries during drop ins or walks. Happy to drive to a nearby park if within reasonable distance. Your dog will likely show me their route around the neighborhood :)

About: I have taken my mother's lab to trips to the groomer as well as getting her to be patient during bath time. I also taught her to wait for her food to be poured before eating, taught her a few tricks such as, sitting, speaking, and how to walk beside me appropriately on a leash without dragging. I only work part-time for the rest of the year, so my schedule is quite available. I have availability Mondays - Thursdays all day. I can also do overnight stays as well! I have my senior cat roam anywhere in the house, he is mainly outside. However, due to his old age, he is fragile and I don't want to change routine too much, he also needs lots of my attention and affection while I am home. I am willing to come to you instead! reducing the hassle of having to drop-off!

About: I started taking care of friends' and neighbors' dogs after retiring in 2024. My lifelong love for cats and dogs of all shapes and sizes is now my daily passion! As an active retiree, I don't have any pets currently, and the house is empty and waiting for my next furry friend! I've cared for everything from dachshunds to a Bernese Mountain Dog. I love cats, but I want to watch them in your home, not mine. Happy to house-sit, work overnight shifts, and care for senior dogs and puppies. Although I don't have a fenced yard, I do have miles of walking trails and parks in the community, as well as an electronic fence for any dogs that need unrestricted access to a yard. I am fully retired and spend my days caring for your pets. Rarely will your important pet be left alone, if at all. I used Rover with my senior dog, Tucker, for over 5 years and met some wonderful people. It was a relief to me when I traveled, knowing my best friend was also enjoying his time in a safe, loving home. Now I meet new animal friends every week, and it feeds my soul and theirs. Your fur baby will have a dedicated sleeping space, feeding space, and unlimited access to our yard, depending on your needs. Full access to the entire house. I encourage you to bring toys, pet beds, crates, and any other items that will make your cherished pet comfortable. We are comfortable giving medication to older dogs, working with young puppies, and customizing our days to fit your pet's regular routines (such as walks, feeding, medication, and brushing). We have access to a private dog park, but we only go there after discussing it with you in advance. Note: we have an unfenced yard but use sound/ vibration to alert your pup if s/he is trying to escape. No electricity involved, just moderate stimulation. Most dogs learn the boundaries very quickly and without any discomfort.

About: Vary active I love to be out doors I have trained dogs for ranch work I know how to give medication care about the well being I have an open schedule so I have enough time to tend to your pup. I can house sit all the time to walk them as needed I tend the gates. Make sure that they are closed. Do not allow animals where they don’t need to be or not allowed. I can easily crate your pup if needed.

About: I finished my bachelors degree at Sacramento State and find myself with free time before starting my career and I want to use this time to take excellent care of your pets. I have experience anywhere from raising puppies or kittens to taking care of older dogs that need more help and assistance. Not only have I owned many dogs at once, as well as cats, but I’ve also been a go to sitter for many other pets for neighbors etc! I love animals and would love to spend some time loving your pet! I am happy to do some light cleaning, bring in the mail, clean up poop in the backyard as well, just ask! Work schedule fluctuates from full time to part time, if you are looking for a pet sitter/dog walker I’m your person! My work scheduled fluctuates which allows me to be flexible with your pets needs. Each drop-in visit is a minimum of 30 minutes with additional add ons (walks, additional time, etc). Just reach out and we can adjust as needed! I have a reactive dog myself and am aware of all of the safety precautions that come along with that. Both for the dogs I care for and any stranger dogs as well. Unless I know your dog well, dogs will stay on leash during any outings.

About: Ive been taking care of dogs for over 10 years. I love going on walks and just hanging out with them. I also enjoy giving dogs baths! My schedule is pretty flexible! I am usually free on weekends. I do not take spontaneous trips. All my trips are planned in advance so I can work things around it. I will follow the rules of your house when I am there. If you say "No dogs on the furniture.", then I will make sure no dogs on the furniture. I will adhere to any strict routine you have in place for feeding or walking. I will also send daily pictures of all animals while I care for them.

About: Having animals ranging in all ages since I was 5 has definitely helped but also helping friends and family since the age of 13 has been the best experience. I am available 24/7, our animals are just as important as us so I believe in having time for them whenever you or them may need it.
