I have always had dogs and believe they are truly man’s best friend. My sweet senior chihuahua passed away in 2025 and a few months ago my beloved shih Tzu passed away. We are not ready to get another dog just yet, so we would be honored to love up on your pup in the mean time. My dogs have always been the highlight of my husband & I’s life. I am a registered nurse, herbalist and student of homeopathy. My husband works from home and I work outside of the home on Mondays, Wednesdays & Thursdays. I would love to chat with you regarding what I can offer and how I can help you and your dog(s)! My house has a fenced in back yard and I am close to a nature trail/walking path. My schedule is pretty flexible as of right now. Either my husband or I are usually home. If your dog is staying at my home, they will not be left unattended. We tailor our schedule to the dogs! I have a fully fenced in back yard and great places to walk in my neighborhood. I do not leave my dogs unattended while outside, so I can guarantee that I will always have eyes on your dog when outside.

About: I grew up with dogs, cats, and all sorts of animals in our house. We would often foster animals growing up, and had two dogs in my childhood. My partner and I committed to a new doggo for us in August 2020 - a cuddly, loving Cavapoo named Bebe. I love being outside with her, and we frequently run together, play fetch together, and stretch together. I have also loved teaching and training her since her puppyhood. Potty training, sit, come, fetch, dance, down, roll over, walk, run, stay, big jump, up, down, and more. We have her crate trained and think that the mental stimulation in this regard is very important. I'm actually playing fetch with her right now! I am an Assistant Director at a summer camp and work 30 hours a week from home in the non-summer season. I generally take the dogs out in the morning for about an hour of fetch and stretching and morning poop, then do some training with them in my lunch break, and then go for a run or walk in the evening after I am done before dinner. I am neat, tidy, and responsible. I am an eagle scout, and was always taught to leave a place cleaner than I found it. :) If I am staying at a home, I will bring my laptop and work from there, and keep my routine similar to the schedule outlined above.

About: I love being with all animals and especially older and disabled animals. I have my experience from working in Animal Shelters for about 2 years, doggie daycares, pet crematories and also petsitting for different companies and myself over 25 yrs. I am a full time traveling pet/housesitter with my 15yr old pup. I have the luxury of boarding dogs at my longterm housesit in Grass Valley during the summers. I have owned many animals throughout my life and have experience with meds, subQ fluids, end of life, aggressive dogs/cats and finicky pets. I'll treat your babies as if they were mine! Everyday, any time. A typical day for dog care is a walk/hike in the morning(depending on dog needs), chill/snack/play, and then one more walk in the evening. I can do walks, playtime, exercise, training, massage and reiki and anything else needed!

Unneutered males are welcome, however, we do not accept females in heat. Our schedules are very flexible, although we do request a one-day notice of cancellation. In our home, pets are treated like royalty. Whether it is for attention and play, or food and water, all needs will be met with a smile. We have a fenced-in backyard with plenty of room to romp or do zoomies. Upon guests' approval, we may take dogs on a walk to our neighborhood park. Specific needs, such as medicine must be provided and specified in detail. All our animals are current on their shots and we require our guest animals to be as well. We adhere to Covid guidelines and have both received our Covid flu shots. We respectfully request upon meeting for our guests to wear a mask upon arrival. We do not have accommodations for females in heat or aggressive animals. For dog walking and drop-in visits, we are available any day of the week. However, on Tuesdays and Thursdays, we will not be available from 1pm-5pm. The time on Tuesday may vary depending on Alex's school schedule. We plan to meet and exceed all the needs of the pet, which includes necessities, plenty of playtime, and walks. For housesitting, we can also water plants and bring in mail, if need be.

About: I've had the pleasure of loving and taking care of furbabies of all sizes for 20 years. I first started pet sitting for an acquaintance in 2005. Later, when I became established in the area as a trusted house cleaner, I started pet sitting for some of my clients and their friends. Sadly, I lost all my clients and contacts save one in the Camp Fire as my client base was in Paradise and Magalia. My weekends are fully free and am available for pet sitting, dog walking and drop-ins all day on Saturday and Sunday.
