About: I was a dog walker back in college and loved getting to see my animal friends on a regular basis. I have more experience with adult and senior dogs but I can’t say no to a puppy! 🫶 I’m available usually after 10am and can drop in anytime. I can be busy on afternoons during the weekends but I’m mostly around to help. Very flexible and am willing to work with you on the best care for your loved one. About: My name is Secret. I am 31 and was a vet assistant for 5 years before medical issues forced me to stop working in vet offices. I've had animals my whole life, with and without medical issues so I'm skilled at giving medicine and injections. I currently have 2 german shepherd mixes that love making new friends. One is very energetic and pmayful and does best with dogs who love to play. In my free time I love to walk the dogs on pur 10 acre property or down to the creek we have, read, write, go to the ocean, and camp. And of course anything involving animals! About: I have extensive professional experience caring for dogs, cats, bunnies, and other animals. I recently reactivated my Rover profile to expand my network since relocating! I’m skilled and intuitive about animal emotional and physical needs and have many references to offer. In addition to professional animal care, I took care of my beloved special needs cat Tails until he passed away at a very elderly age in 2023. My experience includes caring for senior animals and animals that require special care and/or medication. I have some light experience caring for farm animals (sheep, chickens) and would be comfortable learning more. In my other work, I teach kids, make music, and for many years was a medical caregiver to adult humans. Please contact me to arrange the timing of the care your pet needs. We will discuss your needs and schedule and work it out precisely. My schedule is different at different times of the year because of the nature of my other work as a musician and independent music lessons teacher. Regardless, I do about 60% of my work from home, online - and so when I housesit and stay overnight with your animals, I am able to be there for them the majority of the time and accommodate lots of walks, medication times, and whatever else you may need me to take care of for them during the day. I only offer care for pets in your home, and unfortunately cannot board animals in my own home at this time. I take the utmost care and caution while being a temporary companion for your animals. I require that all of the families I pet sit for leave adequate emergency contact information, such as vet info and emergency contact info if you will be out of cell phone range. A NOTE ABOUT BIG DOGS: Lately I have been getting a lot of requests for big dog care, which I absolutely love! However, please note that I am a 5’3” lady and therefore best suited to care for big dogs with a fair bit of training under their belts. I unfortunately cannot accommodate big dogs who are frequent jumpers. If you know this is true of your dog, I’m not the best fit. I also, unfortunately, cannot accommodate sleeping in the same room as big dogs or sleeping with them in the bed. Even though I love them! I’m just a light sleeper. About: We have a giant 1.5 acre fenced in yard, Perfect for your doggo to run and play while you’re away! I have been caring for animals my entire life and have had dogs and cats since I was five years old. I previously owned three dogs at once and have experience with both large and small breeds. I am comfortable administering medications, monitoring health needs, and providing attentive, responsible care. I truly love animals and understand that each pet has their own personality, energy level, and comfort needs. Whether your pet enjoys active walks, calm companionship, or extra patience and care, I strive to make them feel safe, happy, and well cared for while you are away. I love being present for my pet friends and giving them lots of attention, exercise, fresh water and yummy food. I am extremely safe and have a professional dog walking belt with all the tools I need when navigating walks. I’ve administered medication to elderly pets and recently neutered/spayed pets. I have a 1.5 acre fenced in yard with tall pine trees. It is very safe and a dog’s dream come true! Inside our home for night time sleep overs, we keep the couches covered and welcome all the pets into our lives with our cozy fireplace and 2,000 sq ft home.

About: People often say I have a way with animals. They always seem drawn to me immediately, even when they are wary of others. I feel honored that animals feel this way about me because I feel the same about them! I have cared for many dogs of all sizes as well as owned cats. I have volunteered at a dog rescue in Thailand that has many disabled dogs as well as fostered cats/kittens here at home. I have a big fenced yard with both grass and forest to run and play. I don’t have multiple dogs staying with me at one time ( unless discussed in advance) so your baby will get all the attention. Although I will never replace you, I can provide love and safety until you return (and probably some treats and adventures too!) I'm currently not working and can dedicate my time to pet/house sitting and care. As you can see from my photo gallery, I love all animals and have volunteered at a dog rescue in Thailand, fostered kittens at home, and have seen very cool animals in the wild and at animal rescues/sanctuaries around the world. (I always vet them to make sure they are ethical and doing legit work) I have a large fenced yard and indoor space for cats or dogs. We have plenty of shade and are also willing to take pets with us on outings. I live with my husband and son and they also love and respect animals. As far as caring for pets at someone else's home, I can stay at your house or check in as often as needed. I will play with them, feed them, bathe them, take them places (if requested) and give them love. I know they miss their people and its not the same without you, but I do my best to make them feel safe and comfortable.

About: I’ve had dogs in my life since I was just a baby, all my family members have had puppies and doggies and can always rely on me to watch them when they’ve needed it. On days that I am not working I would love to be walking or sitting dogs! I usually go for morning and sunset walks everyday so I would be happy to have a friend join me! Also am available to watch dogs while you’re away on vacation, just not at my house because I’m not allowed to have pets in my apartment. I will follow exactly how you’d like your dog to be taken care of! About: We are a family full of love for pets! My Husband has volunteered at Sammies Friends walking dogs, and at home we have three indoor-outdoor cats, and a Chihuahua named Bella who’s 10 (my Daughter’s). We had to put down our 14-year-old chocolate lab named Yotis a few years ago, and was my Husband’s best friend! My Son’s 12 year old German Shepard Zani passed a couple years ago as well, and she was the best dog addition to this family. We have always had dogs and cats in the home, and all are friends with each other and they each have unique personalities! We have a dog park nearby as well! The oldest cat I have had was a tabby named Chica, and got her at 8 weeks old when I was 16, and she was 15 when she passed!!! Our pets are our fur family and we love them all!!! Kids are all grown up now, and my Husband is gone a lot as a Fire Captain, so I am more than willing and available to housesit dogs and/or cats in your home. It’s a great opportunity to meet new people and pets. My Husband works 3 days on, 4 days off and likes to help with your pets as well. He is a Dog Whisperer, and I am the Cat Lady! We love taking nature walks, and have both been on Rover since before COVID in 2019. I am available at any time due to my kids being older now, amd we don’t currently have a dog of our own. I love getting out of the house and exploring new neighborhoods and areas especially during Spring and summer. We have resided in Nevada County for decades! We don’t dog board due to having too many household members and pets already, but in your home they are taken care of exactly how they should be. With compassion and love.

About: Animals in my care are given lots of love and snuggles, clean food and water, mental and physical exercise, and a cozy bed near a human! I have taken care of many dogs for friends, family, and clients. Your pup will have a wonderful time staying at our farm on 1 fenced-off acre with another very friendly dog, Teddy Bear Tom. We have a large sturdy kennel in the garage upon the client's request. We prefer to have your fur baby with either myself, my husband, or my teenage daughter. Thanks for choosing us to take care of your precious pup! I am a full-time care provider for dogs of all ages. Your fur baby will never be left alone except when I take my potty break or prepare a meal. I supervise and actively play with the fur babies that I am taking care of. We have nap time together as well. Fur babies can play as much as they want outside as weather permits. They can snuggle inside the house if that's what they want to do. I am very in tune with and attentive to the needs and emotions of animals. Reading facial expressions and animal body language is a skill I have acquired. :) I have a tall fenced backyard as well as a large fenced dog run. I have two friendly dogs that your fur baby can play with. Your fur baby will have separate sleeping quarters (from my dogs) which have A/C, heat, a big bed, water bowls, and a sound machine. Potty Breaks and Outdoor time are as often as you prefer and as much as the weather permits. If your doggo is more comfortable relaxing inside, that's okay too!

About: Hello! I’ve been loving and caring for local pets for around 25 yrs. Some pets were young pups and kittens; some were older seniors. I specialize in petsitting at my clients homes. My longest pet sitting job was 3.5 weeks while the owners were in Italy. I have many referrals. I’ve taken care of miniature horses, Friesian horses, and a pig. (We have a lot of rural homes in Auburn area). I’m retired from a construction accounting job. We’re gladly at home most days! My shedule is flexible; if you have an emergency need for pet sitting, I’m your gal. I prefer to petsit at my client’s homes. The animals rather appreciate this. I like to meet the animal(s) before sitting so when I arrive, we have a connection. I give the animals plenty of one-on-one attention. This may include doggy massage to calm them and get to know them. Lots of walks if they like that. Potty Breaks every couple of hours to begin with, as they’re sometimes nervous or have stomach upsets. I’d like to know your favorite names for them, what your routines are, rituals, their favorite things to do. I’ve also stayed with animals after their surgeries to monitor when the owner has to work.

About: Having animals ranging in all ages since I was 5 has definitely helped but also helping friends and family since the age of 13 has been the best experience. I am a student and can only work part time. This kind of work is not only ideal for my schedule and financial needs, its an opportunity to make new 4 legged friends!
