For the love of the dog !
I am a big-time nature and animal lover, with experience caring for dogs, cats, chickens, ducks and goats. I grew up with dogs (retrievers and vizslas primarily) and fell in love with cats when I lived with a housemate who had a cat in 2016. Also in 2016 I began walking dogs for Wag! while living in San Francisco. It was during this time that I walked an array of different doggies, some rescues, puppies, and senior dogs. Just this past year I spent 6 months on a homestead in northern California learning how to milk goats and make cheese. While I was there, I took care of the goats, cats, chickens and ducks-giving them supplements, food and feed, cleaning their yards/pens, clipping their wings and hooves and of course giving them lots of love! I currently housesit for TrustedHousesitters, and have my own private clients that I housesit for. Animals, both domestic and non-domestic are an essential part of my life and a crucial part of the environment. I could not live day-to-day without them!

I work with whatever set-up and routine the dog is familiar with. I am comfortable and confident in walking dogs on-leash, or off, taking dogs to the park and throwing a ball or on hikes if places are near-by, walking in the neighborhood etc. Spending playtime/fetch at home is great fun too! I’m up for it all. I’m familiar with gentle leaders, various collars, and re-call techniques. If I’m pet sitting overnight I’m up for adhering to the pet’s needs likes/dislikes, the only exception being that I don’t sleep with dogs in the same bed. Other than that I’m prepared to give medication, special food, and any other extra needs your pet requires❤️

Cydney was amazing! Right away on coming in the dog settled right in to being comfortable with her and calming down from there somebody’s at the door alert. She was both attentive to the request and instruction we left and also shared her knowledge about Dogs as well, understanding even different tendencies of different breeds… Which is really helpful since we had one 80 pound rescue who’s ancestors are guard dogs and 8 pound little dog as well. She really gave all of her attention during the weekend to the dogs and their needs. I’m looking forward to having her come again.
Cydney was amazing with my puppy! She went above and beyond what I asked or expected, and I am so appreciative! My pup was instantly comfortable with her and in the short span of time that she dropped in, she was able to feed and exercise Pickles so that she got a satisfactory break from her crate. I also made a mistake in the initial booking and Cydney was flexible and worked with me, which I again am so appreciative for. I would recommend booking Cydney for any animal care that you need, she’s awesome!

Cydney G. provided house sitting and care for our two dogs for the first time last weekend. Everything about the experience was top=notch. from our first phone conversation to schedule a Meet and Greet visit, to our first in-person meeting, to the weekend of the sit, to follow=up. Cydney was cheerful, polite, friendly, and professional. The questions she asked demonstrated good understanding of canine behavior. I immediately felt comfortable with the way she interacted with my dogs and how they responded to each other. She arrived on time, communicated with me by text during the visit (including a cute photo), left the house in great shape and left me a lovely note, The dogs were happy to see me but clearly had had a great visit with Cydney. I highly recommend her and definitely will book her services again.
Cydney was very communicative prior to meeting us and coming to walk Nala. She showed up on time and was great with Nala. Highly recommend her for dog walking!
Cydney took great care of our 2 pups and our home. She is easy to communicate with, very kind, and we came home to happy dogs!

Zeitplan
I work at The Center for The Arts in Grass Valley a couple of times a month. I’m also in school again, preparing for grad school which I plan to do online. My home is in Grass Valley and I don’t plan on moving anytime soon! So my schedule is open to being able to stay with pets for the majority of the day. A pet’s schedule and routine can be prioritized first within this work schedule of mine. I’m quite a homebody, and do love to sing, cook, write/read and more. The classes I currently take are online and I go to bed between 9-10pm.
