“I really don't know where to begin! First, some background. I have traveled all around the United States for work and have been using Rover to find people to help take care of my golden retriever Nala since 2016. Through Rover, I've had fantastic success finding just the right people to help with Nala while I work. But no one, ever, has shown so much dedication and love for my dog the way Ashley has. She is professional, intelligent, extremely knowledgeable about animals and is a very kind person. The communication I received from Ashely was over the top in the best way! I loved the play by play pictures of my dog's outings. I felt like I was right there with them! Nala absolutely loves Ashely, they are best buds and I trust her completely with Nala. From all the cowgirl adventures to the fun hat fashion shows and long hikes on the beautiful trails around Grass Valley, my dog was living her best life! About: I have taken care of various dogs through the years. All sizes and ages. Usually love to take them on long walks and hikes around my neighborhood. I’m available to walk in the morning and afternoon. I am also available to take in pets for an over weekend or in home care. I like to walk dogs as often as I can or on very long walks. I have a pretty spacious apartment so they can run around. I have a cat who is very friendly with other dogs.

About: I trained to become a professional dog groomer, and due to my love of animals id like to try other forms of pet care :) I have two dogs of my own, as well as being a professional dog groomer. I just love spending my free time with animals :) I am a very respectful, responsible and caring person, I will treat your pets and home with the same respect I give to my own.

About: I’ve had at least 3 dogs in my house for about 10 years. Currently my husband and I live close to downtown Grass Valley, Ca. I have 4 bedrooms and a medium to large fenced backyard. We currently have 2 females medium to large dogs in the house. Both dog friendly but I can make adjustments if needed. I can host 1 dog at a time at my house or as many pets as you have at your house. I’ve got a flexible schedule so with at least a day notice I can make it work! Hit me up if you need anything. I can stop by, walk, house sit or board. I have a flexible schedule currently but will need a day notice at least. I have other clients and a day job that allows me to be available but will need to bring a lab-top just in case. I have a fenced yard, it’s a little bit short though please see additional photos. If you’re dog is a jumper or climber we should talk about that.

My boy cat, Tango is very sensitive to my leaving and when I came home from a week away, he was totally mellow because Daniel gave him the love and attention that he needed. Daniel made time to meet with me ahead of my trip to go over things and meet Tango. All was in excellent order upon my return. Daniel did laundry, took care of garbage and left the home spotless. He also sent me a photo of my boy hanging out with him in th garden which made me very happy! I highly recommend him as a house sitter and pet sitter!”

About: For 40 years I have had various dog and cat breeds and made sure they were well fed, heathy, well behaved and happy. I like dogs (and cats) a lot and they seem to sense it as almost all dogs are friendly to me. I work early mornings and afternoons driving school children to/from school. I am therefore generally free from late in the morning to early in the afternoon. I am trusted with the transportation of school age children so would take the same care with pets. I a good a following directions and can handle whatever needs a pet may have.
