About: We are a family full of love for pets! My Husband has volunteered at Sammies Friends walking dogs, and at home we have three indoor-outdoor cats, and a Chihuahua named Bella who’s 10 (my Daughter’s). We had to put down our 14-year-old chocolate lab named Yotis a few years ago, and was my Husband’s best friend! My Son’s 12 year old German Shepard Zani passed a couple years ago as well, and she was the best dog addition to this family. We have always had dogs and cats in the home, and all are friends with each other and they each have unique personalities! We have a dog park nearby as well! The oldest cat I have had was a tabby named Chica, and got her at 8 weeks old when I was 16, and she was 15 when she passed!!! Our pets are our fur family and we love them all!!! Kids are all grown up now, and my Husband is gone a lot as a Fire Captain, so I am more than willing and available to housesit dogs and/or cats in your home. It’s a great opportunity to meet new people and pets. My Husband works 3 days on, 4 days off and likes to help with your pets as well. He is a Dog Whisperer, and I am the Cat Lady! We love taking nature walks, and have both been on Rover since before COVID in 2019. I am available at any time due to my kids being older now, amd we don’t currently have a dog of our own. I love getting out of the house and exploring new neighborhoods and areas especially during Spring and summer. We have resided in Nevada County for decades! We don’t dog board due to having too many household members and pets already, but in your home they are taken care of exactly how they should be. With compassion and love.

About: I specialize in providing quality care for cats, dogs, rodents, and reptiles/amphibians. I have extensive experience caring for animals from all walks of life (pun intended), from senior pets who require some extra special attention to the many creatures that typically go unappreciated (especially those of the scaly or slimy variety). I'm not afraid to get down and dirty with pets and have endless patience and understanding when it comes to accidents, behavioral issues, or any of the other less glamorous aspects of pet ownership. I have over a decade of experience with dog, cat, and reptile caretaking, some experience with rodent and bird caretaking, and I am always willing to learn more so I may satisfy your pet needs to a T. I think of and treat pets like the family they are and am dedicated to ensuring and promoting their wellbeing; night or day, rain or shine, I will be there for you and your pets. My availability for daycare drop-offs/pick-ups is 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Drop-ins and all-day sitting (non-overnight) is 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. For overnight services (currently unavailable) any start or end time is acceptable. Same-day booking is available and I’m typically available during holidays except Christmas. Currently I cannot stay overnight but can sit all day at your home multiple days in a row (I just need to go home to sleep). I provide undivided attention to pets and specialized care according to your instructions. My own dog is small, calm, and well-behaved so he is not to worry about when interacting with your pet in my home during doggy daycare. The other dog I live with barks upon first meeting but otherwise does not act out. For day care: The house is large as is the backyard with plenty of room to run around. There is no fence but neither backyards flanking ours have dogs, if that is a concern. My family has no qualms about dogs on furniture so if your baby is a couch potato he/she is more than welcome. I do ask you bring your own leashes, food bowls, and food for your dog for day care. For sitting you can trust me to be prudent, responsible, caring, and dedicated to your pet's wellbeing, as well as respectful of your home's interior and exterior. I can bathe short-hair and medium-hair dogs up to 30 lbs as long as you have a detachable shower wand and your dog is not allergic to the chemicals in dog shampoo. Pricing depends on the size of your dog and extent of services requested. ≤10lbs = $10; >10lbs = $1 per pound (15lbs = $15 and so on).

About: I started taking care of friends' and neighbors' dogs after retiring in 2024. My lifelong love for cats and dogs of all shapes and sizes is now my daily passion! As an active retiree, I don't have any pets currently, and the house is empty and waiting for my next furry friend! I've cared for everything from dachshunds to a Bernese Mountain Dog. I love cats, but I want to watch them in your home, not mine. Happy to house-sit, work overnight shifts, and care for senior dogs and puppies. Although I don't have a fenced yard, I do have miles of walking trails and parks in the community, as well as an electronic fence for any dogs that need unrestricted access to a yard. I am fully retired and spend my days caring for your pets. Rarely will your important pet be left alone, if at all. I used Rover with my senior dog, Tucker, for over 5 years and met some wonderful people. It was a relief to me when I traveled, knowing my best friend was also enjoying his time in a safe, loving home. Now I meet new animal friends every week, and it feeds my soul and theirs. Your fur baby will have a dedicated sleeping space, feeding space, and unlimited access to our yard, depending on your needs. Full access to the entire house. I encourage you to bring toys, pet beds, crates, and any other items that will make your cherished pet comfortable. We are comfortable giving medication to older dogs, working with young puppies, and customizing our days to fit your pet's regular routines (such as walks, feeding, medication, and brushing). We have access to a private dog park, but we only go there after discussing it with you in advance. Note: we have an unfenced yard but use sound/ vibration to alert your pup if s/he is trying to escape. No electricity involved, just moderate stimulation. Most dogs learn the boundaries very quickly and without any discomfort.

About: I have always grown up around animals and absolutely love them and getting to know their own personalities. I have had cats and dogs and a bunny! I can’t wait to meet your fur babies! I am new to California, and originally from North Carolina and Massachusetts! I am currently a cosmetology student during the week but have flexible availability in the evening and early mornings as well as weekends! I will treat all animals with patience, love, and compassion but if needed I can be stern. At home my dog get plenty of cuddles and recommended exercise, my bunny gets nightly cuddles and dark room for 9-5 to get rest. Every animal starts their days bright and early and ends their nights with cuddles and love.

About: Having animals ranging in all ages since I was 5 has definitely helped but also helping friends and family since the age of 13 has been the best experience. I am available 24/7, our animals are just as important as us so I believe in having time for them whenever you or them may need it. Always following directions given by owner and doing thorough checks throughout the time I am with your 4 legged family. Staying aware of surroundings when out and about in walks.

About: I have grown up with pets all my life. I am a lover of our furry friends, and you can be sure that I will treat your pet like my own. I have lots of experience caring for pet owners while away. I’m super flexible open to any accommodations necessary for pets and their owners. I work part-time from home, so I am at home most of the day and I’m able to provide lots of accommodations for pet owners, including frequent bathroom breaks and outdoor play. my dog Rosie is ill Labradoodle and she is full of life and needs lots of activity. I love to take her on long walks by the lake near our home and take her swimming and paddle boarding as well. I free feed my dogs so she has access to food all day however I am also open to having a certain feeding schedule for your pup if needed!

About: I've been the go-to pet sitter and caregiver for family and friends since my teen years (over 20 years) and I'm excited for the opportunity to expand and care for pets in our community! I have strong attention to detail and intuition when it comes to animals. Over the years, I've worked with a variety of dog breeds in all sizes, and my personal experience with bully mixes and shepherds has allowed me to become a great caregiver for pets with special needs and/or behavioral "differences". ;) For example: -medications -insulin injections -subQ fluids -food aggression -walking and social behaviors I also care for cats (I had mine for about 23 years!) and have experience caring for reptiles such as snakes and lizards, and farm animals too. I work online or 3-5 hours at a time in-person with other clients, so I'm available throughout the day for check-ins, feeding, playtime and walks! In my pet clients home, I'm available to let pups in or out as needed. I would leave them in designated areas (yard, crate, etc.) And follow rules and procedures set by the family and spend quality time with your pets.

About: I have been around dogs my whole life. And I have been pet/house sitting since I was 14. I am very well with animals, as I live in a farm and have a dog and cats myself. I will care for your animals like they’re are my own. I am currently a college student with an open schedule. I like in Grass Valley but go to school in Rocklin. So I am down in the Rocklin and Roseville area a lot. I would care for them like my own. I love to play with them, cuddle with them, and I will give them treats if allowed.
