About: I have worked at a doggy day care that serviced over a 100 dogs and 30 cats at a time. As a kennel tech, I took care of the animals. I played with them, gave them enrichment, training, ect. I have 1 year experience selling pet food. I learned a lot about dog and cat diets and food sources. Currently i'm available 24/7. This is what I do full time. So the animal will have 24/7 attention. My longest pet sitting job was 3.5 weeks while the owners were in Italy. I have many referrals. I’ve taken care of miniature horses, Friesian horses, and a pig. About: I have cared for and loved animals since I was a little girl. I was raised in a house with dogs of all types and have continued to have them in my life. I have two rescues, a 6-lb sweet female chihuahua and a 30-lb shy male terrier mix, that love to be around other dogs but who also are submissive to and respect other dogs’ needs for their own space. Having been a zookeeper and vet tech, I have worked on training various critters, as well as cared for elderly animals that need special attention or medications. I work from home with my husband full time and we are always ready for fur baby snuggles on our couch and bed. We also live near a canal and trails, so dog walks are very frequent in our home. Because we live farther away, we are also willing to come do pickups to keep you from having to drive to us, but we understand completely wanting to see where your pups are staying. I work from home nearly full time except Tuesdays, but my husband is home full time everyday. I am an early riser and can do early walks/pickup/potty breaks. As we are working on house projects due to this being a new and first home purchase, we are gone a ton on the weekends too. If I am staying at your home, I can arrange to be there constantly because my husband is home to care for my pups. I don’t have a fenced yard, but live very close to a dog park that is fenced. I also have a canal trail right off my driveway and we walk our two dogs on it all the time. My two babies are extremely sweet and friendly with other dogs. I am an extremely tidy and organized person, so whether your pup stays with me or I come to your home, I can guarantee I will always leave things as good or better than I found them. Also, if you have any last-minute travel issues, I can almost always adapt to host longer to make sure you don’t have to stress about what will happen to your pup.

“Amanda was very gracious towards our very naughty puppy. Apparently, some of the nervous behaviors that we don’t see at home came out with an unholy flourish at Amanda‘s home. But I appreciate the fact that Amanda gave us a full and honest report (which is helpful for us to gauge the areas he still needs significant training) and was very kind about the negatives. The most important thing, though, was that he settled down in the car almost immediately. Our dog is a very nervous dog, so if he has had a rough time at a dog sitter, we know right away because he whines and whimpers all the way home. After leaving Amanda‘s house, he winded for about 60 seconds and then went to sleep. Hallelujah! Thank you, Amanda, for the top quality care you have given to our very low quality puppy. I am especially grateful that Amanda was willing to take the puppy at the last minute, because my husband had a hospital procedure and I had completely forgotten about making arrangements for the dog. About: I’ve taken care of dogs and pets since as long as I can remember, whether that be my own or my friends and family! I personally have a dog of 14, with a few health issues (including joint issues and blindnesss) so I’m very comfortable and understands with other dogs with those issues, and how to handle and take care of them well! With also having dogs my whole life I have experience some experience puppies, and while I’m not trained myself, I do remember some tips and tricks for starting their training! I’m currently only in school for a week days a week, so I have plenty of time to drop in and play with your dogs, or take them in a long walk to tire them out ! The other dog I live with barks upon first meeting but otherwise does not act out. For day care: The house is large as is the backyard with plenty of room to run around. There is no fence but neither backyards flanking ours have dogs, if that is a concern. My family has no qualms about dogs on furniture so if your baby is a couch potato he/she is more than welcome. I do ask you bring your own leashes, food bowls, and food for your dog for day care. For sitting you can trust me to be prudent, responsible, caring, and dedicated to your pet's wellbeing, as well as respectful of your home's interior and exterior. I can bathe short-hair and medium-hair dogs up to 30 lbs as long as you have a detachable shower wand and your dog is not allergic to the chemicals in dog shampoo. Pricing depends on the size of your dog and extent of services requested. ≤10lbs = $10; >10lbs = $1 per pound (15lbs = $15 and so on).
About: We are a family full of love for pets! My Husband has volunteered at Sammies Friends walking dogs, and at home we have three indoor-outdoor cats, and a Chihuahua named Bella who’s 10 (my Daughter’s). About: Hello! I’ve been loving and caring for local pets for around 25 yrs. Some pets were young pups and kittens; some were older seniors. I specialize in petsitting at my clients homes. My longest pet sitting job was 3.5 weeks while the owners were in Italy. I have many referrals. I’ve taken care of miniature horses, Friesian horses, and a pig. (We have a lot of rural homes in Auburn area). I’m retired from a construction accounting job. We’re gladly at home most days! My shedule is flexible; if you have an emergency need for pet sitting, I’m your gal. I prefer to petsit at my client’s homes. The animals rather appreciate this. I like to meet the animal(s) before sitting so when I arrive, we have a connection. I give the animals plenty of one-on-one attention. Potty Breaks every couple of hours to begin with, as they’re sometimes nervous or have stomach upsets. I’d like to know your favorite names for them, what your routines are, rituals, their favorite things to do. I’ve also stayed with animals after their surgeries to monitor when the owner has to work.

Her dog was the perfect match for my dog. I think my dog has a new bff. The backyard is a dream for an active dog. There was plenty of room both inside and out for my dog to roam around and sniff. She made sure he was comfortable and well taken care of. I can’t recommend her enough. My dog had a great time. When I picked him up he was very happy and relaxed. He shows his stress and there was none just a very happy and tired dog from all the playing he did. He snored the whole way on our long drive home.
