About: I grew up in Hawai'i with 3 sweet, older pits, pretending to eat grass as one of the pack. Always looked forward to playing with friends dogs after school and taking them to the beach with us. My first job at 12 years old was puppy sitting my neighbors golden retriever, I was hooked! I've walked and watched friends dogs throughout and after college, worked at 2 daycare & boarding facilities. Fell in love with every dog big or small, young and old! We cared for all ages and accommodated strict diets, oral meds and ear drops etc. I'd love to meet and care for the pets in my community on my free time. *Recently adopted 2 yr old Corso requiring slow socialization, will hopefully be able to accept daycare and boarding again soon. While I freelance from home and maintain several clients gardens, my schedule is flexible enough to check on your pup, go for walks and get them tired and tended to so they are happy to relax! About: We are a family full of love for pets! My Husband has volunteered at Sammies Friends walking dogs, and at home we have three indoor-outdoor cats, and a Chihuahua named Bella who’s 10 (my Daughter’s). We had to put down our 14-year-old chocolate lab named Yotis a few years ago, and was my Husband’s best friend! My Son’s 12 year old German Shepard Zani passed a couple years ago as well, and she was the best dog addition to this family. We have always had dogs and cats in the home, and all are friends with each other and they each have unique personalities! We have a dog park nearby as well! The oldest cat I have had was a tabby named Chica, and got her at 8 weeks old when I was 16, and she was 15 when she passed!!! Our pets are our fur family and we love them all!!! Kids are all grown up now, and my Husband is gone a lot as a Fire Captain, so I am more than willing and available to housesit dogs and/or cats in your home. It’s a great opportunity to meet new people and pets. My Husband works 3 days on, 4 days off and likes to help with your pets as well. He is a Dog Whisperer, and I am the Cat Lady! We love taking nature walks, and have both been on Rover since before COVID in 2019. I am available at any time due to my kids being older now, amd we don’t currently have a dog of our own. I love getting out of the house and exploring new neighborhoods and areas especially during Spring and summer. We have resided in Nevada County for decades! We don’t dog board due to having too many household members and pets already, but in your home they are taken care of exactly how they should be. With compassion and love.

About: Having animals ranging in all ages since I was 5 has definitely helped but also helping friends and family since the age of 13 has been the best experience. I am available 24/7, our animals are just as important as us so I believe in having time for them whenever you or them may need it. Always following directions given by owner and doing thorough checks throughout the time I am with your 4 legged family. Staying aware of surroundings when out and about in walks.

Not only have I owned many dogs at once, as well as cats, but I’ve also been a go to sitter for many other pets for neighbors etc! I love animals and would love to spend some time loving your pet! I am happy to do some light cleaning, bring in the mail, clean up poop in the backyard as well, just ask! Work schedule fluctuates from full time to part time, if you are looking for a pet sitter/dog walker I’m your person! My work scheduled fluctuates which allows me to be flexible with your pets needs. Each drop-in visit is a minimum of 30 minutes with additional add ons (walks, additional time, etc). Just reach out and we can adjust as needed! I have a reactive dog myself and am aware of all of the safety precautions that come along with that. Both for the dogs I care for and any stranger dogs as well. Unless I know your dog well, dogs will stay on leash during any outings.

About: I started taking care of friends' and neighbors' dogs after retiring in 2024. My lifelong love for cats and dogs of all shapes and sizes is now my daily passion! As an active retiree, I don't have any pets currently, and the house is empty and waiting for my next furry friend! I've cared for everything from dachshunds to a Bernese Mountain Dog. I love cats, but I want to watch them in your home, not mine. Happy to house-sit, work overnight shifts, and care for senior dogs and puppies. Although I don't have a fenced yard, I do have miles of walking trails and parks in the community, as well as an electronic fence for any dogs that need unrestricted access to a yard. I am fully retired and spend my days caring for your pets. Rarely will your important pet be left alone, if at all. I used Rover with my senior dog, Tucker, for over 5 years and met some wonderful people. It was a relief to me when I traveled, knowing my best friend was also enjoying his time in a safe, loving home. Now I meet new animal friends every week, and it feeds my soul and theirs. Your fur baby will have a dedicated sleeping space, feeding space, and unlimited access to our yard, depending on your needs. Full access to the entire house. I encourage you to bring toys, pet beds, crates, and any other items that will make your cherished pet comfortable. We are comfortable giving medication to older dogs, working with young puppies, and customizing our days to fit your pet's regular routines (such as walks, feeding, medication, and brushing). We have access to a private dog park, but we only go there after discussing it with you in advance. Note: we have an unfenced yard but use sound/ vibration to alert your pup if s/he is trying to escape. No electricity involved, just moderate stimulation. Most dogs learn the boundaries very quickly and without any discomfort.

About: I have cared for many different dog breeds including German Shepard, Beagle, Shikoku Ken, Austrialian Shepherd, Catahoula Leopard, Bull Dog, Golden Retriever, Dachshund, American Pit Bull, Alaskan Malamute, Syberian Husky, Cane Corso Mastiff I have also worked with varried aged dogs from puppies to seniors. I have worked with special needs rescue dogs that deal with anxiety, depression and PTSD. I currently am a contractor worker and am unavailable sometimes when I'm working events. With enough notice I can normally shift my schedule around to make accomodations. I take jobs based on when I have time available +Depending on the home environment of the animal I can play with, spend training time and just hang in a fenced in backyard. +I also love to walk dogs. +I'm comfortable just spending time in the home with animals. +I will clean litter boxes, feed and administer medication. I can crate animals if needed. +I absolutely love to hike with dogs that have more energy and have reasonable social training. +In my own home I board small dogs and cats that are happy to hang in a studio. +There is a park down the road where I walk dogs twice a day and take outside frequently on my property. +Walk duration depends on animal.

About: My family has owned pets all of my life. Part of the duties for my first high school/college drop included taking care of my bosses four dogs. They included walks, play time, and grooming mainly. I'm not currently working, other than helping with my grandma when she requires, so I have all day free to walk, or play with, or check in, etc with pets. I have a 9 year old cat (Millie) that likes to keep to herself and an 18 month Goldendoodle (Gracie) who is super friendly and LOVES to play. I have a small yard that is not fenced, but a small porch that can be fenced that Gracie likes to hang out on when the weather is nice. I have a large living room with plenty of open space to play in. Plus a variety of walking routes around the house that Gracie loves to go on.

About: I've been taking care of animals for a little over 5 years including my own animals. I have 1 dog and 1 Guinea pig. I used to volunteer for Mollys Militia which was animal foster/adoption center. During my volunteer hours I would make sure the dogs were fed and had water and were always in good condition living their best life. I am currently looking for a at home job to help with the convenience of staying home with my dog and caring for every other animal that would come into my care. I have a fenced yard that my dog loves to run around in. My dog is friendly towards other dogs. He is also neutered and well trained.

About: I don't have much professional experience walking dogs. I lived across from a cute pot dog mix for 8 years. When her own went on trips he would have me look after Sophia. This included walking her, feeding her. Cuddling with her. I would also take her on walks to the store or with her owner would take her to the pond or lakes. I have kids who I'm wanting to teach responsibilities to, so when possible I would have them help on the walks or feedings. I'm mostly a stay at home mom. I do house cleanings a few times a week for a few hours in the morning. I also have kids to take to and from school and activities but my availability is still pretty open. About: I have grown up with both dogs and cats and have continued to work with them for almost a year! I work at a local veterinary hospital while studying pre-radiologic science at Sierra College.
