About: I have had dogs and cats all my life and have been cat sitting for a friend for the passed 3 years. I can handle giving medication and large dogs. I'm a Preschool Teacher during the day looking to help where I can. 😊 I work Monday through Friday, however I'm off fairly early at 3:30pm everyday so afternoons, evenings, and weekends are free. I have no pets anymore so they will have all the attention! There is a lovely creek that runs through my complex for walks and plenty of toys and energy! And for the older furr babies they are more than welcome on the furniture for cuddles. I also have treats if they are okay for their diet 😊 I have experience with giving medication as well if need be.

“Amanda was very gracious towards our very naughty puppy. Apparently, some of the nervous behaviors that we don’t see at home came out with an unholy flourish at Amanda‘s home. But I appreciate the fact that Amanda gave us a full and honest report (which is helpful for us to gauge the areas he still needs significant training) and was very kind about the negatives. The most important thing, though, was that he settled down in the car almost immediately. Our dog is a very nervous dog, so if he has had a rough time at a dog sitter, we know right away because he whines and whimpers all the way home. After leaving Amanda‘s house, he winded for about 60 seconds and then went to sleep. Hallelujah! Thank you, Amanda, for the top quality care you have given to our very low quality puppy. I am especially grateful that Amanda was willing to take the puppy at the last minute, because my husband had a hospital procedure and I had completely forgotten about making arrangements for the dog. What a godsend Amanda has been.”

Our house has a doggy door for easy in and out access to the backyard. Our dogs, Lilu and Bento are medium size, litter mates, that have been crate trained. They have been trained not to steal food out of hands and not to beg for food. We don't often reward good behavior with treats unless requested. We also trained them to listen to commands and for the most part they respond well. They have been trained on and off leash. They rarely bark unless they are excited to play. They love meeting other well mannered dogs and are very dog friendly too! Most importantly, our entire family loves dogs and we love to be active with them. My husband and I both work from home. We often take dogs for walk early in the morning before the day starts. We often take them for walks later it the day, especially as the day cools down. We live near hiking trails and will often visit those areas for more active hiking. We feed our dogs 2 times per day, morning and early eve. We have taught them to only eat from their dishes at the same time. If there is another dog that is not on same schedule, we will separate the dogs so they can eat by themselves uninterrupted. They will often be given treats throughout the day depending on what we are doing. We have a fenced yard to keep the dogs safe. We also have a doggy door or easy in and out access to the yard. Both my dogs have been crate trained and I can host other dogs that need to be crated.

During my volunteer hours I would make sure the dogs were fed and had water and were always in good condition living their best life. I am currently looking for a at home job to help with the convenience of staying home with my dog and caring for every other animal that would come into my care. I have a fenced yard that my dog loves to run around in. My dog is friendly towards other dogs. He is also neutered and well trained.

Now that I am retired, I get to do what I want most — spend time with man’s best friend. I specialize in walks and cuddling. About: I don't have much professional experience walking dogs. I lived across from a cute pot dog mix for 8 years. When her own went on trips he would have me look after Sophia. This included walking her, feeding her. Cuddling with her. I would also take her on walks to the store or with her owner would take her to the pond or lakes. I have kids who I'm wanting to teach responsibilities to, so when possible I would have them help on the walks or feedings. I'm mostly a stay at home mom. I do house cleanings a few times a week for a few hours in the morning. I also have kids to take to and from school and activities but my availability is still pretty open. About: I have been taking care of my parents' dog, Lexi, since we got her about 7 years ago. I take her on walks and to the dog park reguarily, feed her, and make sure she is entertained throughout the day. I also have extensive experience with cats, as I grew up owning them from a young age. Growing up with pets has led me to grow in my intuition on animal needs. About: I have had dogs and cats all my life and have been cat sitting for a friend for the passed 3 years. I can handle giving medication and large dogs. I'm a Preschool Teacher during the day looking to help where I can. 😊 I work Monday through Friday, however I'm off fairly early at 3:30pm everyday so afternoons, evenings, and weekends are free. I have no pets anymore so they will have all the attention! There is a lovely creek that runs through my complex for walks and plenty of toys and energy! And for the older furr babies they are more than welcome on the furniture for cuddles. I also have treats if they are okay for their diet 😊 I have experience with giving medication as well if need be.

“Alexa is an angel! We have two dogs whom are used to being with my husband and I 24/7 because we both work remotely. We are very selective in who we have watch our boys while we are gone (typically family or friends would come to our home and stay with them)… but we moved from Southern to Northern California so need to figure out an alternative. “Tale’A was great! I would give her 10 stars if I could. She explained and showed me everything about what my dog’s stay would look like. My dog was immediately comfortable with her and her house. Her dog was the perfect match for my dog. I think my dog has a new bff. The backyard is a dream for an active dog. There was plenty of room both inside and out for my dog to roam around and sniff. She made sure he was comfortable and well taken care of. I can’t recommend her enough. My dog had a great time. When I picked him up he was very happy and relaxed. He shows his stress and there was none just a very happy and tired dog from all the playing he did. He snored the whole way on our long drive home.
