About: Hi! I grew up with cats and dogs, and had small animals during college (much to my dorm RA's chagrin LOL) - a hamster, gerbil, snake, and a rat. Currently my daughter and I have four wonderful cats, including an orange female that keeps us on our toes 😁, and a Betta fish. With friends and family, I am surrounded by dogs - from Chihuahua to Greyhound - and I love them all! I often pet sit and walk a variety of pawsome pups 🐾 ❤️. I'm comfortable with any type of pet (feline, canine, reptile, bird, small mammals, etc.) and would be honored to care for yours. Let's face it, pets can be better than people, and they deserve to be treated with the unconditional love they show us!! 😊 I am self-employed, and have ultimate flexibility to care for your pets on your schedule, day or night! I am available for one-off arrangements, when you are traveling, or on-going regular care. I'm especially happy to spend as much time as needed with your fur babies, to ensure they are well-loved and enriched while you are away! In my own home, I can care for caged animals, such as small mammals, reptiles, birds, or fish. They would be kept in a closed room that is off limits to our cats. About: I love all dogs and want them to love me back! I volunteered at Blue Chip Animal Farm in Dallas several times walking and letting out dogs of all sizes! About: Throughout high school, my family fostered dogs through a local rescue, where we had the opportunity to take in dogs of all breeds, sizes, ages, and temperaments. I’ve grown up with dogs and around animals and I have always been the go to pet and house sitter for friends and family! Lia was wonderful!! I’ve never used Rover before and I’m grateful she made it an awesome first experience. She initiated a meet and greet before our trip which made it super easy to get her a key and show her through everything she needed to know to watch after the cats. While we were away, she proactively sent lots of pictures and updates which I loved. She also quickly responded to any questions or requests I had. On top of taking great care of the cats, she even watered our plant. I could tell through the pictures just how comfortable the cats were with her which gave me peace of mind while being away. Overall, 10/10 and we are so glad we had Lia looking after Pepper and Periwinkle!!
Katie was wonderful! I waited too long to book our usual dog walker and came to Rover to see if I can find another one we could use. Katie came and had a meet & greet with our Great Dane and it went well. Our pup loved her! She sent pictures and updates so I never had any worries if my dog was well taken care of. Sarafina did a great job caring for my cat, Lawrence! He just needed daily drop-in visits and she sent lots of photos. She stopped by beforehand to make sure she knew exactly what he needed and was friendly and knowledgeable! She did an excellent job with my instructions and gave him plenty of playtime while she stopped in. I highly recommend Sarafina for any of your pets needs!
My weird cats and I adore Allie. I volunteered at a couple of shelters / rescues and truly have some quirky cats, but Allie acted like they were as normal as they come. She was not fazed by their individual eating preferences, oral meds, and sometimes cranky attitudes. Allie also sent daily updates with photos and I have not felt this at ease traveling in a very long time. I'm sure Allie is excellent with dogs, but if you are looking for someone who is amazing with cats, this is your sitter!
Reagan helped us out last minute when we had to take a quick overnight trip this weekend. She took such great care of our two dogs and kept us posted with photos and updates with each check-in so we were able to enjoy our time away knowing they were in great hands!
