About: Hi there! I've taken care of friend's and family dogs and had my own dogs for over 20 years. Fortunately, I work from home. That, and my long pet siting experience prompted me to extend my services to others and create this profile. I live in a single house with a sweetest cat ever and 10 years old mellow bichon. My house has a fully fenced yard in is located in a very dog friendly neighborhood. Your dog will have constant companionship, frequent potty breaks, and plenty of supervision. My home is best suited for small to medium dogs, as my furry boy naturally prefers companions who are his own size or smaller. I can’t wait to welcome your dog into our home! I am working from home and able to provide frequent potty breaks and constant attention during the day and after work. I can easily adjust to your pets needs. I have a large fenced in yard. I also like to walk my dogs in the neighborhood or Pennypack trail. I live 5 minutes away from Lorimer park trail.

About: I have been an animal advocate since I was volunteering at the PSPCA during my childhood. I’m a former Humane Police Officer in Philadelphia. I’m a very experienced with pretty much any animal. Friendly and caring. I’m currently on medical disability and have a pretty flexible schedule minus a few appointments here and there. I have experience shadowing at both a dog day care, and a veterinarian hospital. I am in college for Conservation and Wildlife Management, and have a senior dog, and a hamster of my own! Emma was great ! She did all that i sake of her, I have two girls and one is a real scaredy-cat and hides when anyone comes to the house. But that being said all went well. Emma is really focuses on detail what and when they need to be fed, she did a great job. I would definitely use her again.
Once again could not be happier with Marilyn. We have 10 cats, one doesnt have teeth, 4 dont get along with 1 of the others, one cat doesnt eat anything but churus. We have A LOT going on but everyone was fed, taken care of, and happy when we got home from Disney. Shes wonderful and as long as she is pet sitting she will be our go-to! Thank you Marilyn!! Tiffany’s very caring. I’m handicapped with a spinal cord injury. I needed someone’s help to take care of my puppy, and take him on walks. She helped to make sure, my puppy had clean puppy pads/water/food/attention. She was such a wonderful person to work with. Absolutely!!👍🏻 I recommend Tiffany to everyone!!! Melanie was fantastic! She arrived right on time, took great care of our dogs, and gave us peace of mind while we were away. We have a large puppy who's still a bit skittish around new people, but Melanie was patient, calm, and took the time to earn his trust. She handled both dogs wonderfully, and we wouldn't hesitate to book with her again. Highly recommend!
This was our first time using Suki for our cats and she was GREAT! She said she would do evening feed at 5 pm and morning feed at 6:30 am and she arrived at exactly those times. She fed everyone, changed waters, cleaned litter boxes, cleaned up cat bowls from prior feeding and left everything exactly as she found it. We would absolutely recommend Suki and will use her as our petsitter again!
Lia was wonderful!! I’ve never used Rover before and I’m grateful she made it an awesome first experience. She initiated a meet and greet before our trip which made it super easy to get her a key and show her through everything she needed to know to watch after the cats. While we were away, she proactively sent lots of pictures and updates which I loved. She also quickly responded to any questions or requests I had. On top of taking great care of the cats, she even watered our plant. I could tell through the pictures just how comfortable the cats were with her which gave me peace of mind while being away. Overall, 10/10 and we are so glad we had Lia looking after Pepper and Periwinkle!!
Sarafina did a great job caring for my cat, Lawrence! He just needed daily drop-in visits and she sent lots of photos. She stopped by beforehand to make sure she knew exactly what he needed and was friendly and knowledgeable! She did an excellent job with my instructions and gave him plenty of playtime while she stopped in. I highly recommend Sarafina for any of your pets needs!
We selected Julie when our normal Rover sitter was no longer available. I don’t have enough good things to say about her. She went above and beyond in every possible way. I felt like our cats were in great hands and I’ll be looking to her the next time we need our boys cared for.

During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
