About: Hi there! I've taken care of friend's and family dogs and had my own dogs for over 20 years. Fortunately, I work from home. That, and my long pet siting experience prompted me to extend my services to others and create this profile. I live in a single house with a sweetest cat ever and 10 years old mellow bichon. My house has a fully fenced yard in is located in a very dog friendly neighborhood. Your dog will have constant companionship, frequent potty breaks, and plenty of supervision. My home is best suited for small to medium dogs, as my furry boy naturally prefers companions who are his own size or smaller. I can’t wait to welcome your dog into our home! I am working from home and able to provide frequent potty breaks and constant attention during the day and after work. I can easily adjust to your pets needs. I have a large fenced in yard. Melanie was fantastic! She arrived right on time, took great care of our dogs, and gave us peace of mind while we were away. We have a large puppy who's still a bit skittish around new people, but Melanie was patient, calm, and took the time to earn his trust. She handled both dogs wonderfully, and we wouldn't hesitate to book with her again. Highly recommend!
Lia was wonderful!! I’ve never used Rover before and I’m grateful she made it an awesome first experience. She initiated a meet and greet before our trip which made it super easy to get her a key and show her through everything she needed to know to watch after the cats. While we were away, she proactively sent lots of pictures and updates which I loved. She also quickly responded to any questions or requests I had. On top of taking great care of the cats, she even watered our plant. I could tell through the pictures just how comfortable the cats were with her which gave me peace of mind while being away. Overall, 10/10 and we are so glad we had Lia looking after Pepper and Periwinkle!!

sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
