She kept me up to date on his wellbeing through texts and sent pics of Rome throughout our vacation. Roseanna has a plenty of helpers for caring for your animals! “A few days before our international trip, we stumbled across the Rover site. It was serendipitous, as was our luck in finding Amber. She was everything we wanted in someone who would be in our home and taking care of our cats. She is professional, organized, smart, hardworking, down to earth, and considerate. When we met for our consultation, we were very impressed with her, as well as very reassured by how receptive she was to our needs and situation. We were gone 16 days, and she kept in daily contact with us, providing updates and photos and videos. She went above and beyond, handling our worries thoughtfully and treating our cats as a as though they were her own. Our cats are indoor/outdoor, and Amber was flexible with her schedule so as to try to be in sync with their patterns, in addition to her other obligations. She offered our cats shelter, food and water, treats and playtime, cuddles and reassurance. And in doing so, she gave us tremendous peace of mind. When our one cat would go exploring for extended periods, Amber was mindful to track her adventures. She even took the initiative to look for her if to much time has passed since T had come home. Amber also checked in with us about the house and property, and made a great impression on my dad and sister (who came by and appreciated her efforts too). We can verify that our cats took to her as well, as we had cameras set up and saw how responsive they were to her! :) One of our biggest challenges taking this trip was what we were going to do about our cats (this was our first time away since we adopted them and we know our situation is a little unusual). We are so very grateful to have discovered Rover, and we are 100% going to book Amber and to recommend Amber, wholeheartedly, for future plans.”

About: Although I didn’t grow up around cats, I recently had the opportunity to foster a cat through the local humane society! She was a young and energetic cat who was rescued as a stray, but had to be kept in isolation from other animals due to a communicable illness. Once we took her in, giving her the space to rest and rehab comfortably, she made a quick recovery and was adopted after a couple short months, once she was medically cleared! This taught me so much about tending to the needs of rescue animals and specifically monitoring any health concerns!

About: I’ve had a passion for animals since I was a little girl. I always wanted a dog but wasn’t allowed. Growing up I had a few animals cats, Guinea pigs, ferrets, Gerbil, Bird and fish. I would always feed the stray cats in my neighborhood and cared for stray kittens. Unfortunately, now I can’t have cats because my son’s allergy. We have a wonderful dog now.. Her name is Kyra. She’s one years old. She is considered a teddy bear dog, her breed is call shih-poo. She brings me so much joy and comfort.. I love her dearly. Having her make me want more dogs. I am happy to play with your dog in a fenced yard, take them to the dog park or just take them on walks. When we’re inside, I like to make sure there are plenty of toys around to play with but ensure the pup is supervised while playing with toys so they don’t swallow anything they shouldn’t.

Evenings: Available Tuesday nights and Friday afternoons (after 4:00 PM). Weekends: I am fully available every other weekend, from Friday evening after 4 pm through Monday at 7:00 AM. Bonus Holiday & Summer Availability: As a teacher, I have extended flexibility during Spring and Winter breaks, as well as major holidays. I am also very open and available this coming summer for more frequent walks and drop-ins! Possible boarding and house sitting in the summer. Availability Tuesday Evenings: Available after 4:00 PM for walks or drop-ins. Wednesday Mornings: Available for early visits before 7:00 AM. Weekends: Available every other weekend (Friday 4:00 PM – Monday 7:00 AM) for more frequent visits. Note: As a full-time Special Education teacher, I am used to following routines! While my weekly schedule is consistent, I have a lot of flexibility during school holidays and long weekends. About: I love dogs, always been surrounded by them. I have experience with dogs, I just moved out of my family’s house in where we had a Saint Bernard and a shitzu, so I have experience with all sizes. About: I have had cats for over 20 years. My cat passed two years ago. i kept my daughters lab for 6 months a year for several years. I even took him to work with me! I have six grandchildren that have 4 dogs. I have been watching their dogs for the last 5 years. They travel a lot so I stay at their home and take care of their 4 dogs and pig. I am retired and live by myself. I will be able to spend all day with your furry friends and give them unlimited love. I will be available by text or phone call if you want to check In at anytime. I am happy to send pictures as well I have a back yard and I live on a quiet street so I would be able to take your dog for plenty of walks. I am very familiar with litter box’s and how to take care of your cats as well
