About: Juggling full-time studies and dedicated dog mom duties to German Shepard Stryker and rescue Doberman Luna. I’ve been raised with dogs and cats since childhood. As the go-to for family and friends in need of pet sitting, my reputation stands strong. I tend to spoil all the fur babies. FYI the reason my rates are higher than expected is Rover takes out a big chunk. I have recently taken on an apprentice to take over my overflow of clients. Because of gas prices and time, travel outside of 10 mile/20 minute radius from home/Yelm will be charged travel cost per visit/day. As a dog mom myself, I understand the concern of leaving pets alone while at work. Offering dog walks, potty break, and house sitting in Thurston County and surrounding areas. My schedule is open all week Sunday-Saturday depending on availability. Reach out to schedule a meet and greet! I will not be offering stays at my house, but I can do house sitting. For house sitting please message me what dates/time you’re needing. I have made exceptions for last minute bookings when I’m available. At our meet and greet I’ll ask what their normal routines are and all their likes and dislikes. Please be aware that I may need to leave once a day during the weekdays my spouse works to let my doggo out, and possibly my regular drop ins depending when scheduled. To keep those away times at minimum please book far in advance so I can decline any extra clients. At my home our routine is; wake up, morning potty, enjoy a human-grade breakfast, another potty break, nap in mom's office. Playtime kicks in around noon, followed by post-lunch potty and another nap. We then join mom in her office, demanding attention, before yet another nap until the next break. Potty, Dinner, and Cuddles. Then one last potty before bed. We’re kinda couch potatoes in our home.

He was perfectly fine on going on the walk with Sinjin (my older boy) and Brian. No temper tantrums, no refusal to walk. NONE of it. That's why even if it's for a simple drop in, I want to meet your pet or pets in advance to see if it's comfortable for everyone. Every animal has its own unique personality, individual communication styles and needs and no offense to the owners, I know you know your babies, but I like to see through my interaction with the pet and how we connect, if it's going to work. My hope is to develop an equal respect and trust with your pet so we can be friends, work and play and enjoy each other's company while "their human" is away. I have a lot of experience training animals and rehabilitating dogs who have suffered trauma, abuse, have aggression issues or need a variety of training from potty training, leash or car etiquette, food aggression and basic commands. I understand having animals can make us reluctant to travel or just adds that extra added stress, so knowing your fur baby is being cared for by someone who will be reliable, safe and loving makes leaving them a lot easier. My ability to connect with an animal and the patience involved is something I take great pride in and thoroughly enjoy. Every animal deserves to be cared for, listened to and understood.. Remaining patient with an animal who is meeting a stranger for the first time, respecting that I am in their environment. Waiting it out, being on their time and realizing they'll show me they are ready to trust and connect. Not expecting them to jump into my arms and be best friends immediately, granted, there are those critters that just love in the first second, others don't. So, knowing and respecting that is important. Meet and greet(s), going over their routine, their comfort zone, their queues, their fears, what makes them so happy, what makes them smile, favorite toy. Realizing I am not "their human" ,knowing and respecting boundaries. Anything that falls outside of that can sometimes lead to high levels of anxiety or fear in both the animal and the human. I like to take time earning the trust of the animal, so when they are ready to engage with me, we can do that as a team.
