Information Kristina H. would like to know about your pet
I would like to know if there are situations or things your dog does not like such as crowds, kids, other dogs, loud noises, people with hats, tall people, etc. I would also like to know if you would prefer me to avoid those situations or seek them out in hopes that your dog will eventually be ok with those situations.
A typical day
I like taking dogs to parks or wooded trails. They seem to have more energy (senior dogs) when taken to somewhere new or have new smells to discover. Walks around a neighborhood are also enjoyable. Activities that I enjoy with dogs is playing fetch, hide and seek, and training basic commands (sit, stay, lay, leave it, come) and more advanced commands depending on what your dog enjoys. Some dogs like learning to search for a hidden treat or toy in the house. Others like finding which hand a treat is held in.

Pet care experience
I have 13 years of experience from my own dog. I have trained him to be well behaved enough to go to school and work with me. He has done therapy work for the elderly. I consider myself to be patient, yet firm. I love challenging dogs both mentally and physically. If your dog likes slow and steady walks, I can be patient and let them smell to their hearts content. If your dog is more high energy, I can power walk or do some light jogging with them to burn off some of that extra energy. I have experience giving pills and shots to dogs (I did a vet tech program and volunteered at a vet clinic in the past). My passion is training dogs. Be it basic obedience, more advanced "tricks," or helping a dog conquer their fear of certain situations, people, or other dogs. I also have a cat that I’m training to be an adventure cat. I take her on walks when I take my dog for a walk. When she gets tired or overwhelmed, I put her in my backpack with it open so she can still look out.
