About: I’ve taken care of dogs nearly all of my life, ranging from puppies as young as six months to old seniors. I’ve worked with resource guarding, overly-affectionate, and the downright indifferent doggos, all of which I’ve enjoyed caring for. I’ll approach any dog with respect and kindness, as you should expect a caretaker to do! I have a relatively flexible schedule, allowing me to care for dogs during the week mondays through fridays. Anytime between 9 am and 8 pm is generally best, and I’m open to conversation for other dates and times if applicable. My current dog is crate trained, and before moving here to Washington State we lived with a very heavily resource guarded dog. I’ve overseen their play, both mild and rough, so I have experience with managing more aggressive dogs. Outside of that, physical affection and play is a must in my home and I’m more than willing to smell like dog at the end of the day if your dog likes to play!

About: My experience with dog covers just about all fields there are. I spent 10+ years showing herding breeds in showmanship and obedience, often at the state level. This included all the required grooming and handling skills that comes with performing at a pro level. I also trained lessons at 4-H clubs once a week for 5 years. I continued my training at a local boarding facility where Ive been exposed to even more unique dogs. This facility specialized in dogs that needed special care or more technical help than regular boarding places could provide. Food aggressive malinois, elderly pitbulls that have specific medical needs and anxious poodles are all just a regular Tuesday for me. I'm always looking for a new experiences and a challenge! My work day starts late enough in the day for most if not all morning activities and I'm off perfectly on time for afternoon walkies. I've house sat for dozens of times. In my 10+ years of connection with 4-H, I've watched many members pets over the years. This included more unique animals like reptiles and birds all the way to a guinea pig barn. walkers on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement walker.
