Amanda is amazing 5atars Great communication Responded Within minutes of my inquiry . Responded with professionalism and was personable. Very sweet and easy to talk too. Gave me great updates on the walk. She handled my Belgian malinoise that's overweight about 150lbs. In addition so working with my other dog thatnis very timid - both were very responsive to her and trusted her. I would hire her again in the heartbeat. She has a very sweet and trusting demeanor.

About: I’ve been caring for animals for about six years and have experience with dogs, cats, and other pets. I’ve helped friends, family, and neighbors with pet sitting, feeding, walks, playtime, and daily care. I’m comfortable caring for pets with different personalities and needs, from energetic young animals to older pets that need a little extra attention. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and always do my best to make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and well cared for while their owners are away. My schedule is very flexible and I am generally available at most times. I can accommodate morning, afternoon, evening, and last minute bookings whenever needed. Disclaimer: Please note that I do not set my own rates for any additional charges, as those are automatically calculated by Rover based on my base rate. My base rate for house sitting is $40 per night. Additional charges may apply depending on your specific needs; however, these are typically lower than Rover’s standard adjustments. Feel free to reach out anytime, and I’ll be happy to provide you with an accurate, personalized quote for your booking.

About: I’ve cared for dogs of all breeds and sizes for over 10 years. Friends, family, and neighbors have trusted me to walk, feed, bathe, and love their pets like my own. I’m experienced with puppies, senior dogs, and those needing a little extra patience and care. Whether it’s playtime, training support, or simply keeping your pet comfortable, I make sure every animal feels safe, happy, and part of the family. I currently work part-time, which gives me plenty of flexibility to spend quality time with your pets. I’m available for boarding on weekends and for walks, drop-ins, or playtime during weekdays after work hours. Your pet’s routine and comfort are my top priority, so I make sure to adjust my schedule to meet their needs. I have a secure fenced yard and two friendly dogs who love making new friends. Safety is always my first priority, so I supervise playtime closely and can crate your pup if needed. I treat every pet as if they were my own, providing a safe, loving, and structured environment so you can feel confident they’re in good hands.

About: I have taken care of a variety of animals my entire life growing up on a farm. I have been a Licensed Veterinary Technician for 24 years. I work part-time remotely and part-time in a vet clinic. I am looking to supplement my income while still working my current part-time jobs. I work Monday through Wednesday remotely. Then I'm working Thursday and Friday in a Veterinary Hospital. I'm mostly available Friday night through early Thursday morning. I have 4 dogs, 2 outdoor cats, 2 horses, and 15 chickens. I can easily separate dogs as needed with a secure large backyard. Our entire property is 5 acres completely fenced and cross fenced. Sidney did great with handling our dogs and cat through our "getting to know you" visits that we set up, and we agreed the last walk was not needed prior to the longer pet sitting, so "review" saying a dog walk was cancelled is not a negative on Sidney, just not necessary but she didn't cancel it electronically soon enough. She did a great job with the pets and will be happy to arrange for her to sit them again on future occasions.

About: Hi! I’m Paula, and animals have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up helping care for animals on my family’s farm in Colombia and later gained experience working in a veterinary clinic, which taught me how to safely handle animals, recognize when something isn’t quite right, and provide attentive care for pets with different needs and personalities. Today, I share my life with dogs of my own and understand how important it is to find someone you trust when you’re away. Whether your dog loves long walks and playtime or prefers a quiet companion to stick to their routine, I adjust my care to fit what makes them happiest and most comfortable. I have experience with: • Puppies and high-energy dogs • Senior pets • Large breed dogs • Administering medications • Multi-pet households • Shy or anxious animals When I’m caring for your pet, communication is a priority. You’ll receive regular updates, photos, and honest communication so you always know how they’re doing. My goal is simple: I want your pets to feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I have a very flexible schedule, which allows me to provide attentive and consistent care for pets throughout the day. While I have a few work responsibilities that only require a couple of hours here and there, they don’t interfere with my ability to prioritize pet care. Additionally, while I do have dogs of my own, they are a shared responsibility within my household, meaning their care does not take away from my ability to fully focus on the pets I’m sitting. This flexibility allows me to accommodate regular walks, feeding schedules, playtime, and any special care needs without interruptions. Whether it’s an overnight stay, multiple visits a day, or drop-in check-ins, I ensure that pets stay on their normal routine and receive the attention they need while their owners are away. My priority is to ensure pets feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while their owners are away. I provide pet sitting exclusively in my client’s home, allowing pets to remain in their familiar environment, which helps reduce stress and maintain their routine. When caring for pets, I follow their specific schedule for feeding, walks, playtime, and any other special needs they may have. I make sure they receive plenty of attention, exercise, and companionship throughout the day, adjusting my care to match their personality—whether they need extra playtime, gentle reassurance, or space to relax. Additionally, I respect my clients’ homes by keeping everything clean, securing doors and gates, and ensuring a tidy environment while they’re away. I also provide regular updates and photos so owners can feel at ease knowing their pets are well cared for.

Currently working at home part time. So lots of time. And have my own schedules with current animals, livestock, poultry and cats & dogs. Also some reptiles. I am working on sitting up a safe area for pets to be removed from my animals and then will be open for boarding. Unsure on the timeline of that

Alright... where to begin! Brian did a wonderful meet and greet with my boys (two newfoundlands) and walked them today without me..that may seem like a strange thing to say but Byron (my younger boy) refuses to go on a walk for anyone but me - not even my husband! He was perfectly fine on going on the walk with Sinjin (my older boy) and Brian. No temper tantrums, no refusal to walk. NONE of it. Brian took them on a good walk, they had fun and their were no problems.

About: As an experienced dog sitter, I go beyond basic care by truly understanding each dog’s unique personality and needs. I have a natural ability to read their body language and adapt to their moods, ensuring they feel comfortable, happy, and secure while you’re away. Whether it’s administering medications, following specific dietary plans, or providing enriching playtime and walks, I tailor my approach to each dog’s routine. My calm and attentive demeanor helps even the most anxious dogs feel at ease, and I maintain clear communication with pet owners for peace of mind. Having cared for my own senior Pomeranian, Zeus, until he was 14, I am particularly attuned to the special needs of older dogs, including administering medications and adjusting routines for their comfort. I currently have an year and a half year old Yellow Labrador Retriever named cooper, so well experienced with puppies I’m currently home full-time, so I have a very flexible schedule and can give your pets lots of attention throughout the day. Whether your dog needs frequent potty breaks, long walks, playtime, feeding schedules, medication, or just extra cuddles and companionship, I’m able to be there consistently. I love getting outside for walks and making sure dogs stay mentally and physically happy while you’re away. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I treat every animal like they’re my own and take the time to learn their routine, personality, and needs. I’m experienced with dogs of different ages, energy levels, and temperaments, including senior dogs and puppies. I always keep a close eye during walks, potty breaks, feeding, and playtime to make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for in a calm environment.

I offer dog walking, drop-in visits, and house sitting, and I love caring for dogs of all sizes and temperaments. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and routine are my top priorities. I always provide photo and message updates so you can relax knowing your pet is happy and well cared for. I treat every pet like family and aim to create a safe, calm, and loving environment while you’re away. I look forward to meeting you and your pets! Hi! I’m Mallory! I’m enrolled in college online which has opened up my schedule to be able to take care of your pups! I love pets of all kind so pet sitting is the perfect activity to partake in durning my free time! I also have access to military bases! I currently have a 8 year old Great Dane( Minnie ) and 2 kitties named Louie and Lizzy! I take Minnie on walks around the neighborhood which is important at her older age she moves her body. She gets treats frequently, along with the kitties of course. Louie and Lizzy also enjoy there time outside, they mostly stay inside but when it’s nice enough outside they stroll on our outside porch. All of the things I do for my pets, I would do for yours.

About: I have been caring for dogs since I can remember because I’ve always had dogs of my own. Currently I have 4 dogs that I help take care of daily. I have experience taking care of at minimum two dogs as far as the Seattle area for so far max of two weeks. I have also taken care of chickens at the same time so I am prepared in whatever may need to be done. I have no job and am available whenever as far north as Seattle if needed. I am available essentially 24/7 starting June 22nd, until august 16th. I have four dogs and therefore caring for a pet in my own home could prove difficult. However, I am comfortable staying in your house if needed or preferred. I always ask for specific instructions from the owner concerning whatever I need to be informed on because I am aware everyone treats their pet differently.

About: Hello, I'm Taylor! I've been looking after animals for quite some time. I have two dogs, and one cat. I've had my cat for over 8 years! I even boarded a family members dog at my home for weeks at a time while they were away. So, in short: I'm not exactly new to taking the best care of all of your pets needs. Animals are kind of like a therapy for me, so I assure I'll take the exact same measures you would, except MAYBE a few more head pats in between. I look forward to meeting you and your family! I am a student, so I'm home most of the day. If you have something last minute, I can usually accommodate that. However, it’s best to let me know at least 12 hours in advance if you are a new client. I do not offer care in my home, as I have two dogs of my own. However, when coming to your home, I am very particular about following your directions. I will make sure to ask about these beforehand so that you are 100% certain that your pet is taken care of.

When I met her I noticed she had a calm energy which works great with all my dogs. She is reliable and consistently comes on time. She walks the two big dogs a good distance too!

Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Mock City. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Report cards require photos and can include a map of the walking route , total walk time, poop and pee breaks, and distance traveled, so you know exactly where your dog has been walking in Mock City.

Got specific details you'd like the dog walker to include? Message them in the app before your dog’s walk begins.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every walker on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

Yes, you can find walkers who have experience with handling special pet needs in Mock City. On Rover:

  • 94% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 97% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 97% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
