About: I focus on ways to remain patient and allow an organic connection to develop between me and the animal. That's why even if it's for a simple drop in, I want to meet your pet or pets in advance to see if it's comfortable for everyone. Every animal has its own unique personality, individual communication styles and needs and no offense to the owners, I know you know your babies, but I like to see through my interaction with the pet and how we connect, if it's going to work. My hope is to develop an equal respect and trust with your pet so we can be friends, work and play and enjoy each other's company while "their human" is away. I have a lot of experience training animals and rehabilitating dogs who have suffered trauma, abuse, have aggression issues or need a variety of training from potty training, leash or car etiquette, food aggression and basic commands. I understand having animals can make us reluctant to travel or just adds that extra added stress, so knowing your animals are being cared for by someone who will be reliable, trustworthy, kind and a huge animal lover will hopefully relieve some of that added anxiety we all feel when leaving them. My ability to connect with an animal and the patience involved is something I take great pride in and thoroughly enjoy. Every animal deserves to be cared for, listened to and understood.. I love animals and knowing their humans can leave them with the confidence they're going to be safe and loved makes me very happy! I work from home and have a schedule that allows me to support pet owners with their pet care, walks, potty breaks, medications, just coming to visit and say hi, to pet owners who live within a reasonable distance from my home. Remaining patient with an animal who is meeting a stranger for the first time, respecting that I am in their environment. Waiting it out, being on their time and realizing they'll show me they are ready to trust and connect. Not expecting them to jump into my arms and be best friends immediately, granted, there are those critters that just love in the first second, others don't. So, knowing and respecting that is important. Meet and greet(s), going over their routine, their comfort zone, their queues, their fears, what makes them so happy, what makes them smile, favorite toy. Realizing I am not "their human" ,knowing and respecting boundaries. Anything that falls outside of that can sometimes lead to high levels of anxiety or fear in both the animal and the human. I like to take time earning the trust of the animal, so when they are ready to engage with me, we can do that as a team.

About: Hello! I am a dog lover at heart! Spent my whole life with 2+ dogs of all shapes and sizes. I have experience with training as well as just sitting on the couch cuddling. I have a small pup as my own right now but would love to be able to take great care of yours. I am the MOST available on the weekends and evenings for any type of service, and am willing to work with you to find time during the week days to fit your needs! About: I have taken care of cats, reptiles, and both large and small dog breeds since I was young. Working in a pet store, I have experience starting off new animal friendships on the right foot and hope to meet yours! I work in an elementary school and have availability in the afternoons and on weekends. Open availability during summer (even if it is last minute)! I love all different kinds of animals, and am good with all types of personalities, fear levels, and temperaments. I can also administer medications and care for pets with special needs. My other work is freelance, so my schedule is usually open and flexible. Overnight stays are easy for me to configure, and I'm able to prioritize your pets in my schedule. My main priority is the pets safety and happiness. I have experience de-escalating anxiety, redirecting aggression, and navigating tension between pets. About: I have 3 dogs and 2 cats at home and I absolutely love taking care and spending time with each of them. I have also done some volunteer work at Spokane Humane Society. About: Hi. I know it can be a bit scary allowing someone in your home to care for your 4 legged baby. I am a very trustworthy, responsible individual. I have just moved to Washington State. I have happily been pet sitting for over 20 years. I've cared for animals of all ages and special needs. I am also comfortable administering medication by pill or injection. I listen closely to what the pet owners are looking for so that I will meet the needs of their precious pet. I understand how important good communication is with owners especially during vacation care so daily notes or messages are done. Animals bring me so much joy so I feel very lucky to spend my days doing what I love. About: I've raised 2 dogs and have taken care of friends' and co-workers' dogs for nearly 40 years. I love snuggling with and playing fetch with dogs of all ages. I don't watch much t.v. so, most of my time would be spent enjoying your friend/family member's company! I can't wait!!! I work from home most days and I typically work Monday through Friday. On the weekends I don't work, so I will be fully engrossed in play with your loved one! I live in a cute little house with a small back yard, but have a big middle school one street away where I take doggies to play and walk. There's also a really close park and tons of walking paths nearby.

About: I have over 10 years of professional animal care and veterinary experience, where I’ve tended to pets with all variations of personality and maintenance. While working as a lead at an animal boarding facility I gained many skills to support animals while stressed and away from their families. Every pet is treated like my own, and I earn their trust by respecting boundaries and accommodating every animal’s personal needs. I am an excellent nail trimmer/bather for cats and dogs who allow me to do so, and am able to pill most pets if needed. My life is centered around pet care, so the rest of my schedule shapes to that routine. The animals in my care come first before other engagements or plans. All items that could cause sensitivities in pets are kept clear of their reach, windows and doors stay closed to prevent walkabouts, animals remain leashed and under direct observation when outside. When several pets are together they are never left without supervision. I administer flea/tick treatment, bathe, trim nails, clean ears, and brush teeth for my personal pets on a schedule. Prescriptions are administered accurately, and individual food needs are met, such as allergies and prescription diets.

I understand the stress of having to leave your pets behind when traveling, so I do my best to follow requests around times and routines. There are times where I am caring for more than one pet client, but I will communicate that with you before booking if it applies. I generally do not take clients that require potty breaks/visits less than 4 hours apart, though often I am in the home full time. I typically watch animals in the owners home. I am happy to walk, exercise, and play as needed or requested. Often stay overnight, and follow the directions left by owners.
