Liza is great! Most importantly, our Abby loves her and Liza likes Abby an awful lot, too. Liza is reliable, responsive to questions and keeps me informed. She has been so kind during a family member’s serious health problems. Because they were hospitalized unexpectedly, there was and the uncertainty of how long the overnights booking would last since it was dependent on how things went after surgery.

About: I grew up in a home that always had dogs, cats, hamsters, and birds, so caring for animals has been a natural part of my life for as long as I can remember. Over the years, I’ve also pet sat for friends and family, caring for dogs of different ages, sizes, and personalities. Whether it’s long walks, playtime, belly rubs, or simply keeping them company, I genuinely enjoy making sure every dog feels happy, safe, and loved while their family is away. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I treat every dog as if they were my own. I’ll follow your routine closely, provide plenty of updates and photos, and make sure your pup gets the attention, affection, and care they deserve. My goal is to give you peace of mind, knowing your dog is in caring and reliable hands. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine, and I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals. I have a flexible schedule and can provide reliable, attentive care, whether your pet needs walks, playtime, feeding, medication, or simply companionship. I’ll make sure they stick to their normal routine and feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away. Your pet’s safety and well-being are always my top priorities. I’ll follow your care instructions closely, including feeding schedules, exercise routines, medications, and any special needs. I believe every pet deserves patience, kindness, and plenty of love. I’ll also keep you updated with messages and photos so you can have peace of mind knowing your furry family member is in caring, dependable hands.

About: I’ve had dogs, cats, and horses all my life. I have watched older dogs who needed daily medicine and high energy dogs who need frequent walks. With 2 cat fur babies myself, I love animals! I moved to the area recently and love meeting new people and their pets, of course! I am pursuing pet sitting full-time while getting my Masters degree. I take on any booking I receive if I have room in my schedule (which I usually do😊). For house-sitting services, I provide overnight care and maintain your pet’s normal routine. I may leave throughout the day for school, family events, leisure, etc. but I will always make sure to give your pet the attention they need and deserve! I am very attentive so I will be sure to notice anything out of the sort and unfamiliar. I also love to play, pet, and interact with pets so that they are getting attention and love while their family is away.

About: I have been taking care of animals my whole life. I have a genuine love for being near animals and taking care of them because they brighten my day. I am currently in college I want to try to make pet sitting a part time job so I can save up for my future. I usually try to relax on my free time, reading books and enjoying art, my hobbies give me time to take care of and play with the animals that I care for. The doors are locked unless I or someone with a key unlocks them, i make sure that the dogs have a leash on before I open the door and that there are no cats near the door to run out.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 16 years old but have always had dogs of my own. I also worked as a veterinary tech throughout high school and have a lot of experience with all animals. I have 2 dogs of my own and 3 cats so as you can tell I just love being around animals. I will treat your baby/babies as if they’re my own. I have also fostered 5 kittens. I have flexibility as I work from home and only have a few calls per day. I have plenty of time to spend with your animals and give them all the love they need. We live in a new neighborhood right across from a lake with access to a beautiful park. We also have a fenced backyard with plenty of space for your animal to run around!

Caelyn was so amazing with Cheddar! I had to have a surgery that took me out of commission for quite a few days and I booked Caelyn to walk Cheddar once a day during my initial recovery. Cheddar is usually very timid but warmed up immediately to her and they were best friends by the last day! She always came home tired and out of breath which is exactly what I needed. Caelyn also takes the cutest photos during the walks which always puts a smile on my face when they return to my house. Definitely plan on booking regularly with Caelyn :)

I love all different kinds of animals, and am good with all types of personalities, fear levels, and temperaments. I can also administer medications and care for pets with special needs. My main priority is the pets safety and happiness. I have experience de-escalating anxiety, redirecting aggression, and navigating tension between pets. I always double leash dogs for walks and I am experienced with all varieties of leash, walk, and play based behavior.

We had to change the schedule for walking at the last minute but she was very accommodating. She was also excellent at communicating, responding promptly to my messages. About: As an experienced dog sitter, I go beyond basic care by truly understanding each dog’s unique personality and needs. I have a natural ability to read their body language and adapt to their moods, ensuring they feel comfortable, happy, and secure while you’re away. Whether it’s administering medications, following specific dietary plans, or providing enriching playtime and walks, I tailor my approach to each dog’s routine. My calm and attentive demeanor helps even the most anxious dogs feel at ease, and I maintain clear communication with pet owners for peace of mind. Having cared for my own senior Pomeranian, Zeus, until he was 14, I am particularly attuned to the special needs of older dogs, including administering medications and adjusting routines for their comfort. I currently have an year and a half year old Yellow Labrador Retriever named cooper, so well experienced with puppies I’m currently home full-time, so I have a very flexible schedule and can give your pets lots of attention throughout the day. Whether your dog needs frequent potty breaks, long walks, playtime, feeding schedules, medication, or just extra cuddles and companionship, I’m able to be there consistently. I love getting outside for walks and making sure dogs stay mentally and physically happy while you’re away. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I treat every animal like they’re my own and take the time to learn their routine, personality, and needs. I’m experienced with dogs of different ages, energy levels, and temperaments, including senior dogs and puppies. I always keep a close eye during walks, potty breaks, feeding, and playtime to make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for in a calm environment.

About: I’ve grown up around animals and currently have two dogs and two cats of my own, so I’m used to managing multiple pets with different personalities and needs. I’m comfortable with everything from high-energy puppies to more laid-back or anxious pets, and I pay attention to behavior changes, routines, and overall wellbeing. I’m consistent with feeding schedules, walks, medications if needed, and keeping things clean and structured. I also understand how important it is to feel like your pets are actually being cared for not just checked on so I make sure they get attention, interaction, and a calm environment while you’re away. I treat every home and pet with the same level of respect and care I expect for my own. I’m currently a student, but my schedule is structured and flexible, so it doesn’t interfere with providing consistent, reliable care. I’m available for drop-in visits throughout the week, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings. I prioritize staying on schedule so your pets can keep their normal routine, and I’m dependable when it comes to showing up on time and following instructions exactly as given. Since I only offer drop-in visits, I focus on keeping your pets comfortable in their own environment and sticking to their normal routine. I follow instructions exactly feeding, potty breaks, medications if needed, and making sure everything is clean before I leave. I’m careful with doors, gates, and overall home security, and I always double check that your pets are safe and settled before leaving. I also pay attention to behavior so I can catch anything off early. I also send photo updates during visits so you can see how your pets are doing and have peace of mind while you’re away. I prefer to do a quick meet-and-greet before starting services so I can get familiar with your pets, go over routines, and make sure it’s a good fit for everyone.

About: I focus on ways to remain patient and allow an organic connection to develop between me and the animal. That's why even if it's for a simple drop in, I want to meet your pet or pets in advance to see if it's comfortable for everyone. Every animal has its own unique personality, individual communication styles and needs and no offense to the owners, I know you know your babies, but I like to see through my interaction with the pet and how we connect, if it's going to work. My hope is to develop an equal respect and trust with your pet so we can be friends, work and play and enjoy each other's company while "their human" is away. I have a lot of experience training animals and rehabilitating dogs who have suffered trauma, abuse, have aggression issues or need a variety of training from potty training, leash or car etiquette, food aggression and basic commands. I understand having animals can make us reluctant to travel or just adds that extra added stress, so knowing your fur baby is being cared for by someone who will be reliable, safe and loving makes leaving them a lot easier. My ability to connect with an animal and the patience involved is something I take great pride in and thoroughly enjoy. Every animal deserves to be cared for, listened to and understood.. I love animals and knowing their humans can leave them with the confidence they're going to be safe and loved makes me very happy! I work from home and have a schedule that allows me to support pet owners with their pet care, walks, potty breaks, medications, just coming to visit and say hi, to pet owners who live within a reasonable distance from my home. Remaining patient with an animal who is meeting a stranger for the first time, respecting that I am in their environment. Waiting it out, being on their time and realizing they'll show me they are ready to trust and connect. Not expecting them to jump into my arms and be best friends immediately, granted, there are those critters that just love in the first second, others don't. So, knowing and respecting that is important. Meet and greet(s), going over their routine, their comfort zone, their queues, their fears, what makes them so happy, what makes them smile, favorite toy. Realizing I am not "their human" ,knowing and respecting boundaries. Anything that falls outside of that can sometimes lead to high levels of anxiety or fear in both the animal and the human. I like to take time earning the trust of the animal, so when they are ready to engage with me, we can do that as a team.

About: I’ve been around dogs and cats my entire life and currently have two dogs and two cats of my own. I started walking dogs at 12 years old and spent multiple summers walking dogs to earn money for trips. Since I was 13, I have also provided in-home dog sitting for various families. I have hands-on experience with feeding, walking, playtime, cleaning up after pets, and providing attentive care while owners are away. I understand that every pet has their own personality, routine, and needs, and I always make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. Because I work part-time as a backup, my schedule has great built-in flexibility. While my exact hours can vary week to week, pet care is a top priority for me, and I can easily adapt to fit your pet's needs. I am available for early morning, evening, and weekend care, as well as flexible drop-in visits and house sitting. I always communicate my availability in advance and aim to accommodate your preferred feeding, walking, and care routines as smoothly as possible. Safety and peace of mind are my absolute top priorities when caring for your pets in your home. I strictly follow all owner instructions to maintain your pet's regular routine and keep them feeling secure in their home environment. I pay close attention to safety during walks, double-check that doors and gates are secure, and ensure hazardous items stay out of reach. You can count on reliable communication and regular photo updates during every visit so you know your home and pets are completely safe.

I had some stuff going on with one of my dogs and Brian was very flexible and kind. My dogs have been very happy to see him every time he has come by and just walked out the door for their adventure without even looking back to see why I wasn't coming 😆 came back happy, relaxed, still asking him for peta and clearly had a great time! I'm really picky about who I let be alone with my pets and I can tell by our conversations and the questions that he's asked that he really cares to do the job right. That plus my dogs demeanor around him tells me he's a safe person to care for them when I'm not home. Highly recommend!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
