“Kenzie was fantastic! I just moved to Houston and needed someone to walk my 6 year old collie shepherd mix last minute. She got back to me promptly and had very clear communication so that I felt comfortable in a time that was stressful for me. She was timely, attentive to what my pup needed, and made sure he was set up before I came home by giving him extra water. I’m grateful I found someone I can rely on when I can’t be there for my pup!”

“Desi did a wonderful job of walking Hope. She was on time and I could tell Hope was happy to see her. We will definitely be reaching out to her again. Can’t thank her enough 😊”

About: Hello! I’ve had 3 dogs for 3 years now but have also helped my mom with rover before and have gotten to meet all kinds of dogs with silly personalities. I love taking care of dogs and I believe they’re the best animals to exist. I’ve helped dogs of all ages and am diligent on walks and cuddles. Currently I’m on summer break and will be leaving back for college in September so I have a very open schedule and can do whatever is needed. I care for pets the same way in any environment and that is with love and respect. Whats most important is that the dog feels safe in these environments so being kind and showing affection can open them up more.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 16 years old but have always had dogs of my own. I also worked as a veterinary tech throughout high school and have a lot of experience with all animals. I have 2 dogs of my own and 3 cats so as you can tell I just love being around animals. I will treat your baby/babies as if they’re my own. I have also fostered 5 kittens. I have flexibility as I work from home and only have a few calls per day. I have plenty of time to spend with your animals and give them all the love they need. We live in a new neighborhood right across from a lake with access to a beautiful park. We also have a fenced backyard with plenty of space for your animal to run around!

About: I have a huge heart for animals! I would like to think I speak every animal language there is :) I’ll put them first & treat them as my own! Spend some Qt with them and take lots of pics! I’ll think that we are communicating and believe that I’ve built a special bond with your special person. I’ll take them for rides, walks, and spoil them with treats (if allowed)! I’ll bathe them and teach them tricks! I’ll show them off to my friends and the neighbors! I’ll let them give me kisses! And we can even go for ice cream aka pup cups! I’ll have a hard time leaving because I fell so in love with your pet, I was sad to say goodbye! I'm currently open availability. I prefer consistent basis but I'm flexible to work with whenever while I have open availability. I especially love mornings or afternoons. I don't have any pets of my anymore since moving to Washington, so I hoping to find extra emotional support! I keep up with the place and make sure everything stays neat and comfy.

About: Animals have always been an important part of my life. I've helped rescue nine cats and raised seven from kittens to adulthood, which has given me extensive experience with feline care and behavior. I love getting to know each pet's unique personality and building a bond with them through play, attention, and consistent care. In addition to cats, I regularly help care for my family's dog through walks, playtime, and daily care. I also have experience raising and caring for ducks, which has taught me the importance of providing consistent care, maintaining routines, and paying attention to each animal's needs. While cats are where most of my experience lies, I'm excited to work with dogs and other animals as well. I'm reliable, attentive to detailed care instructions, and dedicated to making sure pets feel comfortable, happy, and loved while their owners are away. Whether your pet needs playtime, companionship, exercise, or specialized care, I'll treat them with the same patience and attention I give my own animals. I'm currently on summer break from college, so I'll have almost unlimited free time to play and care for your pets! I also don't mind weird hours, day or night. I treat every pet as if they were my own. I carefully follow feeding schedules, medication instructions, and any other care requirements provided by the owner. I like to be extra attentive and keep a close eye on pets because their safety and comfort are my top priorities. I also make sure they receive plenty of attention, playtime, and companionship while you're away, helping them feel happy and secure in their familiar environment.
About: I’m here to serve you and your beloved pets with reliable care, giving you true peace of mind while you’re away! I do more than just feed and potty break — I make sure your pets receive quality social time and personalized care. I have experience caring for many types of dogs and cats, including elderly, anxious, and those with special-needs or requiring medication. I also completed certification through Mud Bay (pet food company), having been trained in dog and cat behavior, nutrition, and pet wellness. My goal is to provide dependable service you can trust and a calm, loving experience for your pets while you’re away. My schedule is pretty flexible, and I am petsitting full time now! I understand the stress of having to leave your pets behind when traveling, so I do my best to follow requests around times and routines. There are times where I am caring for more than one pet client, but I will communicate that with you before booking if it applies. I generally do not take clients that require potty breaks/visits less than 4 hours apart, though often I am in the home full time. I typically watch animals in the owners home. I am happy to walk, exercise, and play as needed or requested. Often stay overnight, and follow the directions left by owners.

I can be available whenever needed and for long period of times. I am also very communicative about scheduling. I treat every pet as if they were my own, making sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable. I follow the owner’s guidelines closely, including feeding schedules, exercise needs, and any specific instructions. I maintain a clean and pet-friendly environment and always prioritize safety whether in my home or the client’s. Communication is key, and I’m always happy to provide updates and photos to keep pet parents at ease.
About: I’ve had pets my whole life and truly believe that they all deserve to be treated like family. I currently don’t have any pets and I would love to help families out. Sheena is so great. She's an excellent communicator and arranging bookings is always a breeze. Its apparent that she cares for our pup and he always seems so happy in the photos she sends. Shes been able to accommodate bookings when we've made last minute plans and we can't thank her enough for that. I would give more stars if I could.

Alright... where to begin! Brian did a wonderful meet and greet with my boys (two newfoundlands) and walked them today without me..that may seem like a strange thing to say but Byron (my younger boy) refuses to go on a walk for anyone but me - not even my husband! He was perfectly fine on going on the walk with Sinjin (my older boy) and Brian. No temper tantrums, no refusal to walk. NONE of it. Brian took them on a good walk, they had fun and their were no problems.

Kylie is truly the best dog walker we could ask for! She is incredibly patient, kind, and attentive with Nanook, who absolutely adores her. It gives me so much peace of mind knowing Nanook is in such caring and capable hands. Kylie goes above and beyond every time, and her genuine love for animals really shines through. We’re so grateful to have found her—highly recommend! 🐾💙

Pazia was amazing and flexible!!! She was able to help us out from across the country during a family emergency. I couldn’t be more grateful. My dog enjoyed their time together and she sent me so many pictures. Excellent communicator even when I couldn’t be; absolutely beyond words recommend.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
