About: Had dogs my entire life. Lost my last one a few months ago. Have fenced in yard for them to run. And plenty of toys. I’m retired so I have nothing but time to watch your pet. I walk every day would love to have your dog along for the walk. I have a fenced in yard , and a.good sized back yard with squirrels that need to be chased. Your pet will be welcome in our home.

About: I have been caring for dogs since I can remember because I’ve always had dogs of my own. Currently I have 4 dogs that I help take care of daily. I have experience taking care of at minimum two dogs as far as the Seattle area for so far max of two weeks. I have also taken care of chickens at the same time so I am prepared in whatever may need to be done. I have no job and am available whenever as far north as Seattle if needed. I am available essentially 24/7 starting June 22nd, until august 16th. I have four dogs and therefore caring for a pet in my own home could prove difficult. However, I am comfortable staying in your house if needed or preferred. I always ask for specific instructions from the owner concerning whatever I need to be informed on because I am aware everyone treats their pet differently.

About: I have had dogs in my household since I was born. I have over 10 years of experience pet sitting, walking dogs, and otherwise taking care of various animals. My own dog is a 100-pound rescue, which means I can walk dogs that are both big and little. It doesn't matter if you have a 6-pound puppy or an 80-pound senior; I will take care of any dog, no matter how big or small. I am currently working a part-time job with very flexible hours, so I have plenty of time in my day to walk dogs. About: I focus on ways to remain patient and allow an organic connection to develop between me and the animal. That's why even if it's for a simple drop in, I want to meet your pet or pets in advance to see if it's comfortable for everyone. Every animal has its own unique personality, individual communication styles and needs and no offense to the owners, I know you know your babies, but I like to see through my interaction with the pet and how we connect, if it's going to work. My hope is to develop an equal respect and trust with your pet so we can be friends, work and play and enjoy each other's company while "their human" is away. I have a lot of experience training animals and rehabilitating dogs who have suffered trauma, abuse, have aggression issues or need a variety of training from potty training, leash or car etiquette, food aggression and basic commands. I understand having animals can make us reluctant to travel or just adds that extra added stress, so knowing your fur baby is being cared for by someone who will be reliable, safe and loving makes leaving them a lot easier. My ability to connect with an animal and the patience involved is something I take great pride in and thoroughly enjoy. Every animal deserves to be cared for, listened to and understood.. I love animals and knowing their humans can leave them with the confidence they're going to be safe and loved makes me very happy! I work from home and have a schedule that allows me to support pet owners with their pet care, walks, potty breaks, medications, just coming to visit and say hi, to pet owners who live within a reasonable distance from my home. Remaining patient with an animal who is meeting a stranger for the first time, respecting that I am in their environment. Waiting it out, being on their time and realizing they'll show me they are ready to trust and connect. Not expecting them to jump into my arms and be best friends immediately, granted, there are those critters that just love in the first second, others don't. So, knowing and respecting that is important. Meet and greet(s), going over their routine, their comfort zone, their queues, their fears, what makes them so happy, what makes them smile, favorite toy. Realizing I am not "their human" ,knowing and respecting boundaries. Anything that falls outside of that can sometimes lead to high levels of anxiety or fear in both the animal and the human. I like to take time earning the trust of the animal, so when they are ready to engage with me, we can do that as a team.
