About: I’ve been around dogs for many years and have experience caring for dogs of different sizes, ages, and personalities. “I cannot say enough good things about Stephanie! She was available last minute to take our Australian shepherd Fig for multiple walks. Fig is high energy and Stephanie made sure to walk her for a full hour - I know she was good and tired afterwards! She sent me lots of updates, pictures and even a video of their walk! Fig also has hip issues we were already aware of - but Stephanie was observant and kind enough to comment about it in case we weren’t! I felt completely comfortable and reassured with Stephanie stopping in to care for Fig and would recommend her to anyone needing care for their fur baby!”

About: I’ve taken care of cats, I have 2 cats as well! While I was in college my roommates had dogs that I would watch when they would leave or couldn’t come home in time. I’m good with both both cats and dogs. Im currently working part time, I don’t think pet sitting is a job it’s so fun to do so I would love it as a side job. I’m also getting my masters in biomedical sciences right now My pets have access to every inch of the house and are well cared for, toys, scratch post and many treats! I love playing with them, taking them outside, feeding and can also clean litter boxes

About: Had dogs my entire life. Lost my last one a few months ago. Have fenced in yard for them to run. And plenty of toys. I’m retired so I have nothing but time to watch your pet. I walk every day would love to have your dog along for the walk. I have a fenced in yard , and a.good sized back yard with squirrels that need to be chased. Your pet will be welcome in our home.

About: I have 3 dogs and 2 cats at home and I absolutely love taking care and spending time with each of them. I have also done some volunteer work at Spokane Humane Society. About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 16 years old but have always had dogs of my own. I also worked as a veterinary tech throughout high school and have a lot of experience with all animals. I have 2 dogs of my own and 3 cats so as you can tell I just love being around animals. I will treat your baby/babies as if they’re my own. I have also fostered 5 kittens. I have flexibility as I work from home and only have a few calls per day. I have plenty of time to spend with your animals and give them all the love they need. We live in a new neighborhood right across from a lake with access to a beautiful park. We also have a fenced backyard with plenty of space for your animal to run around!

About: I’ve had pets most of my life, however I can’t own any where I live currently. I fill that need by watching friends animals. I’m excited to try this out! I’m a current grad student and I’m not currently working so I have a lot of in between time! I’m happy to fill that time with caring for your pets!! I moving soon to a fenced yard. About: I focus on ways to remain patient and allow an organic connection to develop between me and the animal. That's why even if it's for a simple drop in, I want to meet your pet or pets in advance to see if it's comfortable for everyone. Every animal has its own unique personality, individual communication styles and needs and no offense to the owners, I know you know your babies, but I like to see through my interaction with the pet and how we connect, if it's going to work. My hope is to develop an equal respect and trust with your pet so we can be friends, work and play and enjoy each other's company while "their human" is away. I have a lot of experience training animals and rehabilitating dogs who have suffered trauma, abuse, have aggression issues or need a variety of training from potty training, leash or car etiquette, food aggression and basic commands. I understand having animals can make us reluctant to travel or just adds that extra added stress, so knowing your fur baby is being cared for by someone who will be reliable, safe and loving makes leaving them a lot easier. My ability to connect with an animal and the patience involved is something I take great pride in and thoroughly enjoy. Every animal deserves to be cared for, listened to and understood.. I love animals and knowing their humans can leave them with the confidence they're going to be safe and loved makes me very happy! I work from home and have a schedule that allows me to support pet owners with their pet care, walks, potty breaks, medications, just coming to visit and say hi, to pet owners who live within a reasonable distance from my home. Remaining patient with an animal who is meeting a stranger for the first time, respecting that I am in their environment. Waiting it out, being on their time and realizing they'll show me they are ready to trust and connect. Not expecting them to jump into my arms and be best friends immediately, granted, there are those critters that just love in the first second, others don't. So, knowing and respecting that is important. Meet and greet(s), going over their routine, their comfort zone, their queues, their fears, what makes them so happy, what makes them smile, favorite toy. Realizing I am not "their human" ,knowing and respecting boundaries. Anything that falls outside of that can sometimes lead to high levels of anxiety or fear in both the animal and the human. I like to take time earning the trust of the animal, so when they are ready to engage with me, we can do that as a team.
