“David’s place was like a home away from home for our two dogs. They have different needs and personalities and David was an excellent caretaker for both of them. I hope to be able to have them visit again!”

“Jerrie was awesome! We booked her for an extended weekend at the very very last minute (might have even been same day). She took all 3 of my little chaos causers and sent soooooo many photos. This was our first time leaving our newest addition and Jerrie really eased my mind with regular updates and quick communication. I accidentally misbooked and needed to add an extra day, Jerrie was very accommodating. I’m pretty sure our pups had a blast. Will absolutely book again. She has a huge fully fenced yard and there was a good handful of playmates for our babies this weekend. We’re so happy with this service.”

“Kaela was great with our two large dogs. She and her family kept our two dogs busy and active playing with them and attending to all of their needs. Kaela was very accommodating and I would recommend her to anyone looking for a safe place for your pets.”

“Amanda is amazing! It was my first time using Rover, and I was a bit nervous. But after meeting her, her family, and her dog, I was so happy that I made the decision to choose her! She is so kind, caring, and responsive when it came to watching my boy!”

“We are so grateful to Pam for the exceptional care she provided for our senior dog, Caydo. At his age, Caydo requires extra attention, including several belly band and pad changes throughout the day, as well as medication and supplements. Pam went above and beyond to make sure he was comfortable, cared for, and truly loved. Pam provided such a calm, peaceful, and nurturing environment that was exactly what Caydo needed. Her home is serene and relaxing, creating the perfect atmosphere for an elderly dog who benefits from a quiet routine and gentle care. It was clear that Caydo felt safe and at ease in her home. Throughout his 12 day stay, Pam was attentive to all of his needs and sent us daily pictures and updates. This gave us tremendous peace of mind and allowed us to feel connected while we were away. Pam treated Caydo like he was her own, and her genuine love for animals was evident. We cannot recommend her highly enough. Her kindness, attention to detail, and the peaceful environment she provides make her an incredible caregiver—especially for senior dogs who need a little extra love and support.”

“Kristin was a great sitter. She gave Josie Jo lots of love and attention and her little dog became Josie’s good friend. She sent photos and videos which made my day. I will definitely ask Kristen to care for Josie Jo again when I travel.”

“We were so pleased with Marie's time in Jamie's home. We got updates (photos and a video) and communication was top notch! Our pup is usually anxious when away from home but she settled right in and we are already booking our next stay. I can not recommend Jamie enough! Thank you for watching Marie!”

“First time boarding with Darby. She was incredibly prompt with communication and sent me beautiful photos. My pup was clearly well cared for at her home. I will definitely choose to board again with Darby!”

“Tonya was the MOST attentive and flexible dog sitter for our two fur babies. She had to adjust to one of our dogs new medical needs last minute and updated us daily as we were nervous to leave them. I cannot thank her enough for her care! They will be back for play dates and stays!”

“Leanne was very professional. Before Finn’s overnight, we had a meet and greet. She had a form for his needs and information. Finn has anxious behaviors, so she asked many questions to make sure his stay was comfortable when he stayed. When Finn had his overnight, she sent multiple updates with pictures. She had toys for finn that he loved and he loved relaxing on her couch. It was a home away from home. We’re very grateful it went so well.”

“My dogs ALWAYS enjoy staying with John. My smaller couch potato dog loves his calm household with granddaughter visits. His large, fenced backyard and lots of outdoor time chasing the ball and squirrels accommodates my larger more energetic dog. I’m a repeat client and will definitely board with John again!”

“We are new to Rover and had only been able to leave our Great Pyrenees with family members for super short periods. We’d also kenneled our little Pekingese and had begun to realize that because of his age we needed to find some other less stressful way of housing him while we vacationed. Our 2year old Great Pyrenees and our almost 17year old Pekingese stayed with James and his wife and their care was fantastic. The fully fenced in back yard was a paradise for our Great Pyrenees! We were excited to book our next trip/adventure knowing we’ve found great care for our fur-babies!”

“People say they love animals, but not everyone truly does! I believe Kimberly truly loves animals. I feel she treated my puppies like they were hers. I am fairly new to leaving my girls with a sitter, Kimberly put my mind at ease. She sent a lot of updates and pictures, which I really appreciated. I will have Kimberly watch Thelma and Louise anytime I need a sitter again.”

“Such a great place for my senior dog and my energetic beagle. Sent lots of pictures and took them on good walks. Yard was safe for my dogs. I would definitely recommend this sitter and would use her again.”
“Our pup got the princess treatment from Jennifer and her family! They even spoiled her with dinner and ice cream :D Our baby was so well cared for, clearly loved and beyond well taken care of. The pictures Jennifer sent us overjoyed us and kept us laughing everyday of our trip. There’s nothing that gives you more peace of mind and heart like trusting who is caring for her. She made so many new friends, and had the time of her life at Golden Camp. Jennifer was also so accommodating with giving Willow her eye medication. They’re THE BEST.”

“Annmarie did a fantastic job taking care of our 3 month old fur baby!. Her communication while watching our fur baby was great and we appreciated receiving pictures of her playing and getting all the cuddles. We will absolutly book Annmarie for any future dog sitter needs and highly recomend her!!.”

“We always love having Nugget stay with Lauren and Dalton! Nugget was so excited to be dropped off because he is now familiar with them. We always love getting pictures and videos for updates. They are truly amazing with him!”

“Ashley took such great care of my three cats! She was very on time for our scheduled drop ins, extremely communicative, and genuinely cared for my cats’ well being. I would definitely hire her again!”

“Kayley was awesome with my cat Basil while I went out of town! I appreciated the updates and the photos, and Basil seemed totally unstressed when I came back home. So grateful!”

“My cats loved Zash. Baker even greeted her at the door, which says a lot! She was able to get Hunter to take his meds much easier than I am (I must learn her secret). She was very communicative about the status of my boys and asked questions when there might have been cause for concern. Hunter and Baker give her two thumbs up and so do I.”

About: I been fostering kittens for two years with my partner, including bottle-feeding newborns, caring for young or special needs litters, and administering medications. It's been an incredibly rewarding experience and has taught me a lot about patience, responsibility, and animal care. I also have experience house-sitting for both cats and dogs through the Rover app, making sure pets stay happy and comfortable while their owners are away. I truly enjoy spending time with animals and always treat them like my own.
“Yvonne took care of my beloved cat with such love and compassion. She sent photos and answered all my questions on a daily basis. I will definitely be asking her to care for Muffin in the future!”

“Sarah is a phenomenal sitter! She followed instructions extremely well, and asked questions for clarity. She took such good care of our girls, especially our senior cat, who is end of life. We will be booking get again. Thank you Sarah!! Everyone was so relaxed and calm when we got home, unlike previous Rover sitters.”
“Brian did a great job checking in on our dogs! We were gone on a day trip and just need someone to stop bye and let the dogs out. He handled them very well, took pictures and let us know everything was okay. We will definitely we reaching out in the future 💗”

“Hannah is a wonderful pet sitter! She is great to the kitties, and was very helpful when we ran into a concern while away. You won't regret letting her look after your fuzzy loved ones.”

“Once again, Sara did a great job. She made sure to go through our requests and complete as much as she could in the limited time that we had booked (my mistake; I underestimated the time needed). She prioritized our girls' social enrichment and their feeding schedules. She's a wonderful communicator and really takes care of our fur babies as if they're her own. As well as getting the *best* photos of any pet she's taking care of. Sara makes great decisions about our pets' health and care when we're unreachable, and she left our home cleaner than when she arrived (our cats are messy eaters, lol). I always greatly appreciate the effort and love she puts into caring for our beloved girls.”

“Vanessa is very professional and took great care of my socially-anxious senior cat while I was out of town for a week. She even sent me photos every day so I could see how she was doing. I came back to a very happy cat.”

“Teddy was happy. Karen was amazing. She stayed overnight, and then did a drop in for me. All last minute! And was awesome. Made sure to send lots of photos, which I love! And communicated regularly about teddy and how things were going. I will definitely be calling her again! Thank yooouuu Karen!”

“Lisa definitely lived up to the other glowing reviews. She visited our house daily to feed, water and take care of the litter box for our two cats. She is reliable and even made friends with our often-shy Siamese kitty. We appreciated the daily pictures and reports cards while we were away on our week-long trip. We would highly recommend Lisa for your away pet-sitting needs! Hopefully she will still be providing here excellent services the next time we take a trip to visit family.”

“Took great care of my little cat when I needed to leave for a work trip. She took pictures and videos so I could see how she was doing and communicated clearly before, during and after I hired her. Will definitely be contacting her again when I’m out of town next time!”

“Darby was excellent with our girl, Cass! This was our first time being away from our 6 month old pup and we felt so comfortable that she was in good hands! Darby took Cass on a few walks and made sure she got lunch, dinner, and good exercise. Cass seemed to have had a great time and was so tired from all the fun she had when we got home. We will definitely be booking with Darby again!🤍”

“Very helpful-love the tips and tricks in assisting with my dog. Michael was quick to respond and was able to care for my dog at the last minute. Will be a repeat customer! Thanks again.”

“This was my first time my one year-old Australian terrier was using daycare or being boarded. Both he and I love Allison and her lab. The dogs got along very well because her pup is so sweet. He was very tolerant of a speedy short dog zooming around him. Allie made me feel extremely comfortable with leaving him.”

“We were very happy with our dogs care with Pamela. Our dog got the attention and activity with other dogs that he needed while we were gone for a day. And he was tired and happy when we picked him up 😀 It was nice to receive pictures thruout the day too! Will definately use Pamela's services again for our pup!”

“Sonia & her hubby took such great care of April. Their dog was sweet to her also. Will use Sonia whenever I'm in the area! Thanks so much, Sonia! Lisa-Marie & April.”

“Alright... where to begin! Brian did a wonderful meet and greet with my boys (two newfoundlands) and walked them today without me..that may seem like a strange thing to say but Byron (my younger boy) refuses to go on a walk for anyone but me - not even my husband! He was perfectly fine on going on the walk with Sinjin (my older boy) and Brian. No temper tantrums, no refusal to walk. NONE of it. Brian took them on a good walk, they had fun and their were no problems.”

My calm and attentive demeanor helps even the most anxious dogs feel at ease, and I maintain clear communication with pet owners for peace of mind. Having cared for my own senior Pomeranian, Zeus, until he was 14, I am particularly attuned to the special needs of older dogs, including administering medications and adjusting routines for their comfort. I currently have an year and a half year old Yellow Labrador Retriever named cooper, so well experienced with puppies I’m currently home full-time, so I have a very flexible schedule and can give your pets lots of attention throughout the day. Whether your dog needs frequent potty breaks, long walks, playtime, feeding schedules, medication, or just extra cuddles and companionship, I’m able to be there consistently. I love getting outside for walks and making sure dogs stay mentally and physically happy while you’re away. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I treat every animal like they’re my own and take the time to learn their routine, personality, and needs. I’m experienced with dogs of different ages, energy levels, and temperaments, including senior dogs and puppies. I always keep a close eye during walks, potty breaks, feeding, and playtime to make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for in a calm environment.

About: Hi everyone, I work from home, and work with guide/service dog organizations in my free time. I am kind and patient with all four legged friends. I understand each pet is unique and I will be providing personalized care accordingly. What matters most to me is that your pet is in a safe environment where he/she can relax and have some fun, while you can have peace of mind about leaving your family member for the day. I can send you pictures and videos of your pets daily. Please let me know if your pet has special needs. Feel free to message me if you have more than one pet and we can see what we can do. Also feel free to let me know if you’d like to add some training as a service. I look forward to meeting you and your furry companions! *Note that for daycare and boarding at my home, all animals need to be on flea and tick medication, free of parasites, and be up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations. Please let me know if they have any resource guarding or reactive behaviors. Thank you for your understanding! *NB: I’m currently raising a service dog and a guide dog in training for non-profit organizations, which means I can only accept dogs that are friendly and safe around other dogs and people at this time. Thank you for your understanding! I work from home (except Sunday mornings where I have to be on site) and can assist with pet care most of the time, depending on what is needed, including on weekends. Please reach out if you’d like to schedule a meet and greet! I have a fenced yard - the fence is about 6 feet high. Please let me know if you have an escape artist (jumper/digger/door dasher).
“I cannot say enough good things about Stephanie! She was available last minute to take our Australian shepherd Fig for multiple walks. Fig is high energy and Stephanie made sure to walk her for a full hour - I know she was good and tired afterwards! She sent me lots of updates, pictures and even a video of their walk! Fig also has hip issues we were already aware of - but Stephanie was observant and kind enough to comment about it in case we weren’t! I felt completely comfortable and reassured with Stephanie stopping in to care for Fig and would recommend her to anyone needing care for their fur baby!”

“Erika and Maxwell are just the best! They were so sweet to our two dogs during the meet and greet, so we knew it was going to be a great fit. Our dogs can be a lot to walk because they are big and prey driven, but Maxwell and Erika were up to the challenge. We came back home to two very tired and happy girls. So happy we found them and hope we can book more walks and sits with them in the future!”

About: I’ve taken care of family and neighborhood pets since I was in middle school and people in my neighborhood have come to rely on me to check in on their pets regularly. I am also an Animal Sciences student studying at Oregon State University (but I’m home for the summer in the Olympia area!) hoping to become a veterinarian and have worked in some clinical settings, so I have a bit of a background in veterinary medicine to give your pets the best care! I’m currently shadowing at a veterinary clinic three days a week but other than that I’m widely available to take care of your pets! I generally shadow Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays (but days may change) from 8-5:30, but I have a lunch break from 12-2 every day and am able to let pets out mid day! Other than that I am largely available most other days! I treat every client's home with the same care and respect as my own. I carefully follow your pet's normal routine, including feeding schedules, walks, medications, playtime, and any special instructions. I'll make sure your pet feels comfortable and loved while you're away, keep your home clean and secure, and provide regular photo and text updates so you always know how they're doing. My goal is to keep your pet happy, safe, and stress-free in the environment they know best.

I also completed certification through Mud Bay (pet food company), having been trained in dog and cat behavior, nutrition, and pet wellness. My goal is to provide dependable service you can trust and a calm, loving experience for your pets while you’re away. My schedule is pretty flexible, and I am petsitting full time now! I understand the stress of having to leave your pets behind when traveling, so I do my best to follow requests around times and routines. There are times where I am caring for more than one pet client, but I will communicate that with you before booking if it applies. I generally do not take clients that require potty breaks/visits less than 4 hours apart, though often I am in the home full time. I typically watch animals in the owners home. I am happy to walk, exercise, and play as needed or requested. Often stay overnight, and follow the directions left by owners.
“Alisha has a real connection with all animals. Our dog Moxie loves her! Alisha followed my instructions and gave me regular updates, including pics. I felt that all our animals (dog, cat and horses) were in good hands with her. I will definitely use Alisha again in the future!”

“Caelyn was so amazing with Cheddar! I had to have a surgery that took me out of commission for quite a few days and I booked Caelyn to walk Cheddar once a day during my initial recovery. Cheddar is usually very timid but warmed up immediately to her and they were best friends by the last day! She always came home tired and out of breath which is exactly what I needed. Caelyn also takes the cutest photos during the walks which always puts a smile on my face when they return to my house. Definitely plan on booking regularly with Caelyn :)”

“We always love having Nugget stay with Lauren and Dalton! Nugget was so excited to be dropped off because he is now familiar with them. We always love getting pictures and videos for updates. They are truly amazing with him!”

“Yvonne was absolutely amazing with our high-energy lab pup, Bailey. She had so much patience and understanding, and many skills to help make for a positive and comforting stay for Bailey. I highly recommend for not only boarding but any training needs. Will be using Yvonne for all of our future boarding and training needs!”

“Our two pups just completed their first stay with Deidre and we couldn’t be happier on the care they received and the communication she had with us. We hope that she will have the availability to care from them in the near future but anticipate that she will grow in popularity due to her 1st class service!”

“Jeremy and family went above and beyond with both our dogs. We had never left our dogs alone with anyone before especially for a week. We got updates with videos or pictures daily not even asking. The comfort we felt while being gone was so amazing compared to leaving them at a board and care. Would give a 100 percent rating. We will be using them again for our future needs.”

“I was going out of town and needed an affordable and trustworthy pet sitter. Lisa was the perfect fit! She addressed all my concerns and put my mind at ease. Every picture I got of my pup she was happy and in her element as if she was in her own home. I highly recommend Lisa and I will be definitely be a repeat client should I need another pet sitter.”

“Marianne and her husband clearly love dogs and have so much love and attention to give, which my pooch received. They took him al kinds of fun places around town, and gave him plenty of snuggles. They even included him in a bday treat for their doodle! Easy going, clear communication and they provided lots of photos. We knew our boy was having a blast while we were gone!”

“Wonderful Bobbi is wonderful. Osita fit in with other dogs. Her caring attitude and such a kind person. She sent pictures of how Ozita was doing during the evening. Will definitely use again.”
