I can’t say it enough, Dana is such a great dog walker. We get thorough rover cards with plenty of details of how our dog Wookiee did and lots of photos. I couldn’t ask for more from her. She goes above and beyond. Will always recommend & use if available. Thank you!

Sheena is wonderful with my two large dogs (12-year old senior and a three-year old Malamute/Husky mix). She's excellent in her communication and responds quickly. She's punctual, polite, easy going, has a wonderful personality and has tremendous patience with my stubborn dogs.

Liza is great! Most importantly, our Abby loves her and Liza likes Abby an awful lot, too. Liza is reliable, responsive to questions and keeps me informed. She has been so kind during a family member’s serious health problems. Because they were hospitalized unexpectedly, there was and the uncertainty of how long the overnights booking would last since it was dependent on how things went after surgery.

About: I've been surrounded by animals my entire life and have over 12 years of experience living on a farm, caring for pigs, cows, chickens, dogs, and cats. While I love all animals, dogs and cats have always held a special place in my heart. Friends and family know me as someone animals naturally gravitate toward. Whether your pet is energetic and playful, shy and reserved, or a senior who needs extra patience and gentle care, I take the time to earn their trust and make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I'm dependable, responsible, and understand how important it is to know your pet is in caring hands while you're away. I'll follow your routines, provide plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, and affection, and I'll keep you updated with photos and messages so you can have peace of mind. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family members and caring for them as if they were my own! I currently have a flexible schedule and spend my time between Olympia and Mukilteo. I generally work remotely, so I am available to house sit during the week or a mid day walk or check in on a break! My aim will always be to keep to your fur baby's schedule regarding walks, potty breaks and feeding. I'll provide plenty of cuddles and love when they are missing you.

Johanna is an absolute gem and exactly what you want in a dog walker. She’s organized, reliable, and punctual every single time, which has taken so much stress out of leaving our pup when we go to work. What really sets her apart from other pet sitters or walkers we’ve used is how communicative she is about the visits. She gives updates, notes about not just our dog but our goofball cats too. Her updates are great and we look forward to the pictures she sends from the walk, too! She runs a tight ship and takes her job seriously. Five stars, full send. Book Johanna.

I cannot say enough good things about Stephanie! She was available last minute to take our Australian shepherd Fig for multiple walks. Fig is high energy and Stephanie made sure to walk her for a full hour - I know she was good and tired afterwards! She sent me lots of updates, pictures and even a video of their walk! Fig also has hip issues we were already aware of - but Stephanie was observant and kind enough to comment about it in case we weren’t! I felt completely comfortable and reassured with Stephanie stopping in to care for Fig and would recommend her to anyone needing care for their fur baby!

About: Hello! My names Kylie and I can’t wait to meet your furry friends. I am reliable and love to make sure they don’t feel too sad and get lots of love and attention while you’re away. I’m a college student, photographer, and barista with a flexible schedule and I am well versed in pet love, care, and anything you and your pets may need while you’re away. Booking with me ensures a good caretaker for your pet and a whole bunch of photos of the fur babies while you’re away! I myself love spending time with my cat Nala and often go on walks with others animals and taking care of loved ones homes while they are away on trips or need someone to check in daily. I work a job with flexible hours allowing me to make sure I have the time to give your pet all the care it needs without restriction! I also go for walks daily, and a pet friend to bring along is always a bonus. I love to make sure every animal receives their own specialized care and I intuitively connect and try to meet them where they’re needs are.

About: Hi! My name is Manuela, and caring for animals has always been a big part of my life. Back home in Colombia, I took care of my own two dogs as well as my relatives’ dogs, so I’ve been around dogs with different personalities and needs for years. I also worked as an Au Pair, where one of my daily responsibilities included caring for two family dogs. This gave me experience balancing pet care with a busy routine while making sure they received plenty of attention, exercise, and affection. Most of the dogs I’ve cared for have been large breeds, including Pit Bulls, Labrador Retrievers, and Rhodesian Ridgebacks, so I’m comfortable handling bigger, energetic dogs. Whether your dog loves long walks, playtime, or simply relaxing with someone nearby, I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I know how important it is to trust someone with a member of your family. I will always care for your pet with patience, kindness, and the same love I would give my own. Every dog has their own personality. I take the time to learn their routine, energy level, and what makes them feel comfortable, so they can feel at ease while you’re away. I can’t wait to meet you and your furry best friend! I’m currently available seven days a week, which gives me plenty of flexibility to care for your pet whenever you need. Whether it’s a morning walk, an afternoon visit, or overnight care, I’ll do my best to work around your schedule. I’m committed to providing dependable and consistent care, and I always make sure every pet gets the attention, exercise, and companionship they deserve. I also speak both English and Spanish, so I’m happy to communicate in whichever language you’re most comfortable with. Your pet’s safety and happiness will always be my top priority. I take the time to learn each dog’s routine, personality, and any special instructions so they feel comfortable and secure while you’re away. I respect every client’s home as if it were my own, and I make sure pets have fresh water, regular potty breaks, exercise, playtime, and plenty of affection. I have experience caring for large breeds and understand that every dog has different needs and energy levels. My goal is to make sure both you and your pet feel completely at ease. I’ll also send regular photo and video updates, so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is happy and well cared for.

About: I've grown up with dogs my whole life, so caring for animals comes naturally to me. Beyond my own pets, I've regularly looked after neighbors' and friends' animals while they've been away — so you can trust your pet is in experienced, loving hands. I am on summer break from college, so I have plenty of time to spend with your pups! I have availability all throughout the week and would love to devote those hours to your pets! I have a sweet golden retriever that could keep your pup company. I have a large open yard with plenty of room for your dog to let out all their energy and play. I love walking pups around my neighborhood, and cozying up with a tired pet after a big day!

Erika and Maxwell are just the best! They were so sweet to our two dogs during the meet and greet, so we knew it was going to be a great fit. Our dogs can be a lot to walk because they are big and prey driven, but Maxwell and Erika were up to the challenge. We came back home to two very tired and happy girls. So happy we found them and hope we can book more walks and sits with them in the future!

Clair is great! She follows instructions, walked at Mo’s pace, and took care of him like I would. I booked longer because my dog(Mo) is a slow walker. She fed him, made sure his water bowls had fresh water and also gave him just supplements when needed, and treat. Will user her services in the future again!

Manuela has been such a blessing to my dogs and my family. She was an emotional support when one of my dogs almost had to be put down and she believed with me every step of the way that his life could be saved and it was. She has become a shoulder to cry on and a friend. She is exceptional with my dogs, young and old and has an incredible, friendly personality that can warm any child and dog. She is compassionate, caring, nurturing and professional and her wonderful personality is a magnet for my family. I would highly recommend her.

I had some stuff going on with one of my dogs and Brian was very flexible and kind. My dogs have been very happy to see him every time he has come by and just walked out the door for their adventure without even looking back to see why I wasn't coming 😆 came back happy, relaxed, still asking him for peta and clearly had a great time! I'm really picky about who I let be alone with my pets and I can tell by our conversations and the questions that he's asked that he really cares to do the job right. That plus my dogs demeanor around him tells me he's a safe person to care for them when I'm not home. Highly recommend!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
