I currently stay at home with my 2 year old son and my big fur baby (he’s 10 years old), while my two daughters are in school during the weekdays. I have a fairly flexible schedule to meet your pup care needs, and wear a toddler carrier on my back during walks and/or drop-ins so I can give your pup the attention and love during our visit.

I have a fenced in side yard with artificial grass, so the doggies are allowed outside rain or shine (if they happen to enjoy the rain). The doggies will have free range of the house, so if they like to sleep on human beds, that is allowed and welcomed (: I take pup safety seriously, and will always have your dog on their leash when going for walks or anytime we are outside of the fence. I will also respect and follow your directions of care for your dog. I understand every dog is different, thus their needs different as well. I strive to keep my doggie clients happy and healthy, because a happy dog means a happy owner! (:

-How is your dog’s temperament? -How well do they get along with other dogs? -How does your dog interact/react to children? -Do they need any special care or medications? -Is there any limitations your dog has, as to exercise/walking? -Do they sleep in a crate or on a dog bed? -Are they food aggressive or toy possessive? -Do they like water? (From the hose outside, or sprinkler).
A typical day
When your dog stays with me I will show them a lot of attention, take them on walks every day, play with them throughout the day, give them cuddles if they like that, and they will have Koda as canine company and to play with as well! They are allowed on all the furniture in my house, and I have doggie beds throughout my home as well! I have many types of different yummy treats for your dog if you forget to bring treats during their stay, and will respect any sort of food diet they are on. I also can give your dog their daily medications when needed. I also have a fenced in side yard for the pups to run around in, and to throw the ball around for them in. We have a hose hook-up in the yard also, so if your dog likes water, I can spray the hose or hook up the sprinkler for them to play in on those especially hot days. So whether your dog just likes to relax and nap; or run, play, and go wild, they will have a good time with us! (:

Hello there! My name is Dana, and I adore all dogs I get the pleasure of coming into contact with! I know how hard it is to leave for a vacation and leave your pup behind, whether it be just overnight or two weeks. That's why I treat all of my dog clients as I do my own pup. And I send their owners lots of pictures, videos, and updates throughout the day for the duration of their stay. I always strive to treat the owners (you) how I would like to be treated, because I know when we go on vacation, I like lots of pictures and updates letting me know my fur baby is in good hands. Same goes for when you are at work and I am over for a drop-in/walk session. I will make sure they are happy while I am with them, and send you pictures and updates of how your pup is doing during that time. Your pup will always be treated with love and respect while they are staying with me. I am accommodating to each and every one of my dog clients. Whether your dog prefers snuggling on the couch and relaxing; or going for lots of walks and playing with the ball in the yard all day. I am very flexible and my goal is to make them as comfortable as possible during their stay with me. If I could have my way, I would own 20+ dogs; but unfortunately my husband won't allow it. So being able to walk & watch your pups makes me very happy! That is why I decided, in spring of ‘18, to quit my full-time job, and join Rover! Unfortunately I had to take a 4+ year break from Rover as we moved to NC, had our 3 children, and then moved back to WA! But we are happy to be back home, and our dog Koda sure is happy to be out of that southern heat! I love all of my doggie clients, and would be honored to add your pup to that list (: I have a little over 12 years of experience being an actual dog sitter/dog walker of pups other than my own, but I have been around dogs (and other animals) my entire life, and have taken care of dogs of all sizes and energy levels. I also have volunteered in the past at a dog shelter, where I took care of the dogs there. (Walking, playing, feeding, cleaning up their kennels, etc.) I am a stay at home mom, wife, and fur mama, leaving my scheduled availability pretty open and flexible. My two daughters are in school during the weekdays, and I stay at home with my 2 year old son, leaving a lot of free time for walks and drop-in visits! (I have a baby/toddler carrier I use as a backpack so I can focus on your dog’s needs while keeping my kiddo out of the way during walks/drop-ins.) Dana was so awesome with our boy! She really went above and beyond for the care of Lucas. She really took care of him like he was her own and was incredibly respectful with our home!
