Hello there! My name is Dana, and I adore all dogs I get the pleasure of coming into contact with! I know how hard it is to leave for a vacation and leave your pup behind, whether it be just overnight or two weeks. That's why I treat all of my dog clients as I do my own pup. And I send their owners lots of pictures, videos, and updates throughout the day for the duration of their stay. I always strive to treat the owners (you) how I would like to be treated, because I know when we go on vacation, I like lots of pictures and updates letting me know my fur baby is in good hands. Same goes for when you are at work and I am over for a drop-in/walk session. I will make sure they are happy while I am with them, and send you pictures and updates of how your pup is doing during that time. Your pup will always be treated with love and respect while they are staying with me. I am accommodating to each and every one of my dog clients. Whether your dog prefers snuggling on the couch and relaxing; or going for lots of walks and playing with the ball in the yard all day. I am very flexible and my goal is to make them as comfortable as possible during their stay with me. When the dogs in my home are happy, I am happy! When your dog stays with us, they will have an automatic best friend in myself & my pup! I have an extremely socialized & friendly 8 year old fur baby of my own. He is a super social Husky/Malamute/Great Pyrenees mix named Koda. He loves just about all dogs, people, babies, and kiddos he comes into contact with. He's also been around large dogs, small dogs, puppies, high energy and low energy dogs. Koda enjoys being in company of other dogs to hang out/play with. He loves being part of the pack. If I could have my way, I would own 20+ dogs; but unfortunately my husband won't allow it. So being able to walk & watch your pups makes me very happy! That is why I decided, in spring of ‘18, to quit my full-time job, and join Rover! I love all of my dog clients, and would be honored to add your pup to that list. Being able to take care of your pup for you while you are away truly makes me happy! I have a little over 9years of experience being an actual dog sitter/dog walker of pups other than my own, but I have been around dogs (and other animals) my entire life, and have taken care of dogs of all sizes and energy levels. I also have volunteered in the past at a dog shelter, where I took care of the dogs there. (Walking, playing, feeding, cleaning up their kennels, etc.) I am a “stay at home mom, wife, and fur mama”, leaving my scheduled availability open and flexible. We just moved back to WA fall 2023 from NC, where our lives changed with the births of our two daughters (in 2019 & 2022). With this new change, I currently will only be accepting doggie clients I have taken care of previously for boarding & doggie daycare services. Once established as a repeat client, I may make that service available to newer clients (depending on how the pup does with small children). As for walks and drop-ins, I can bring along my girls (if your pup allows it and doesn’t mind tiny humans), or leave them with my husband while I attend to your fur baby! (For late pick up from boarding, picking up after the 24 hours included, a late fee of $4.00/hour will be charged per each hour past the 24 hour mark. All additional dogs after the 1st dog will only be charged $2 an hour for each hour past the included time.) (Doggy daycare may also be added to a boarding request if needed.) -Drop-In Visits & Walks are per 30-minute visit/walk. -Doggy Day Care is per day, and up to 10 hours. Drop off time is around 6-9am and pick up time is around 4-7pm. (For late pick up from doggy daycare, picking up after the 10 hours included, a late fee of $4.00/hour will be charged per each hour past the 10 hour mark. All additional dogs after the 1st dog will only be charged $2 an hour for each hour past the included time.)** (Times for doggy day care can be adjusted from Rover's selected pick up & drop off times as needed, I am flexible with my clients as they need).
