“Manuela has been such a blessing to my dogs and my family. She was an emotional support when one of my dogs almost had to be put down and she believed with me every step of the way that his life could be saved and it was. She has become a shoulder to cry on and a friend. She is exceptional with my dogs, young and old and has an incredible, friendly personality that can warm any child and dog. She is compassionate, caring, nurturing and professional and her wonderful personality is a magnet for my family. I would highly recommend her.”

“Amazing! Absolutely amazing. Great communication, very trust worthy. Loves animals and is great with my disabled pup. Couldn't have asked for a better sitter/dog walker.”

I love all different kinds of animals, and am good with all types of personalities, fear levels, and temperaments. I can also administer medications and care for pets with special needs. My other work is freelance, so my schedule is usually open and flexible. Overnight stays are easy for me to configure, and I'm able to prioritize your pets in my schedule. My main priority is the pets safety and happiness. I have experience de-escalating anxiety, redirecting aggression, and navigating tension between pets. I always double leash dogs for walks and I am experienced with all varieties of leash, walk, and play based behavior.
“She was awesome! She was absolutely fantastic with Kai. She took pictures of him on every walk. He was very excited to see her every time. We had to change the schedule for walking at the last minute but she was very accommodating. She was also excellent at communicating, responding promptly to my messages. I will definitely book her again!”

About: Hi. I know it can be a bit scary allowing someone in your home to care for your 4 legged baby. I am a very trustworthy, responsible individual. I have just moved to Washington State. I have happily been pet sitting for over 20 years. I've cared for animals of all ages and special needs. I am also comfortable administering medication by pill or injection. I listen closely to what the pet owners are looking for so that I will meet the needs of their precious pet. I understand how important good communication is with owners especially during vacation care so daily notes or messages are done. Animals bring me so much joy so I feel very lucky to spend my days doing what I love. Pet sitting is my full time job so I'm available for daily dog walks, occasional walks, playtime, vacation care and drop ins. I try to be a flexible as possible to meet your needs. Your home will always be treated with respect. I pay attention to detail therefore if you have a dog they will be kept safe on walks and if you have a cat they will be safe and secure in your home upon arrival and departure. No matter what kind of pet you have they will be handled with great love and care.
“Liza is great! Most importantly, our Abby loves her and Liza likes Abby an awful lot, too. Liza is reliable, responsive to questions and keeps me informed. She has been so kind during a family member’s serious health problems. Because they were hospitalized unexpectedly, there was and the uncertainty of how long the overnights booking would last since it was dependent on how things went after surgery.”

“Sheena was very kind and communicative. From the pictures and videos of their walks and playtime, my dog definitely enjoyed their time together. We will be reaching out to her for future needs and highly recommend her.”

“Alisha has done a great job with our pups and their different needs. She wears out our young dog with fetching and has taken great, gentle care with our super senior dog. Would recommend!”
About: I’ve grown up around animals and currently have two dogs and two cats of my own, so I’m used to managing multiple pets with different personalities and needs. I’m comfortable with everything from high-energy puppies to more laid-back or anxious pets, and I pay attention to behavior changes, routines, and overall wellbeing. I’m consistent with feeding schedules, walks, medications if needed, and keeping things clean and structured. I also understand how important it is to feel like your pets are actually being cared for not just checked on so I make sure they get attention, interaction, and a calm environment while you’re away. I treat every home and pet with the same level of respect and care I expect for my own. I’m currently a student, but my schedule is structured and flexible, so it doesn’t interfere with providing consistent, reliable care. I’m available for drop-in visits throughout the week, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings. I prioritize staying on schedule so your pets can keep their normal routine, and I’m dependable when it comes to showing up on time and following instructions exactly as given. Since I only offer drop-in visits, I focus on keeping your pets comfortable in their own environment and sticking to their normal routine. I follow instructions exactly feeding, potty breaks, medications if needed, and making sure everything is clean before I leave. I’m careful with doors, gates, and overall home security, and I always double check that your pets are safe and settled before leaving. I also pay attention to behavior so I can catch anything off early. I also send photo updates during visits so you can see how your pets are doing and have peace of mind while you’re away. I prefer to do a quick meet-and-greet before starting services so I can get familiar with your pets, go over routines, and make sure it’s a good fit for everyone.
About: I’ve had dogs, cats, and horses all my life. I have watched older dogs who needed daily medicine and high energy dogs who need frequent walks. With 2 cat fur babies myself, I love animals! I moved to the area recently and love meeting new people and their pets, of course! I am pursuing pet sitting full-time while getting my Masters degree. I take on any booking I receive if I have room in my schedule (which I usually do😊). For house-sitting services, I provide overnight care and maintain your pet’s normal routine. I may leave throughout the day for school, family events, leisure, etc. but I will always make sure to give your pet the attention they need and deserve! I am very attentive so I will be sure to notice anything out of the sort and unfamiliar. I also love to play, pet, and interact with pets so that they are getting attention and love while their family is away.

About: I’ve been around dogs and cats my entire life and currently have two dogs and two cats of my own. I started walking dogs at 12 years old and spent multiple summers walking dogs to earn money for trips. Since I was 13, I have also provided in-home dog sitting for various families. I have hands-on experience with feeding, walking, playtime, cleaning up after pets, and providing attentive care while owners are away. I understand that every pet has their own personality, routine, and needs, and I always make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. Because I work part-time as a backup, my schedule has great built-in flexibility. While my exact hours can vary week to week, pet care is a top priority for me, and I can easily adapt to fit your pet's needs. I am available for early morning, evening, and weekend care, as well as flexible drop-in visits and house sitting. I always communicate my availability in advance and aim to accommodate your preferred feeding, walking, and care routines as smoothly as possible. Safety and peace of mind are my absolute top priorities when caring for your pets in your home. I strictly follow all owner instructions to maintain your pet's regular routine and keep them feeling secure in their home environment. I pay close attention to safety during walks, double-check that doors and gates are secure, and ensure hazardous items stay out of reach. You can count on reliable communication and regular photo updates during every visit so you know your home and pets are completely safe.

I’m happy to communicate about specific schedules and make sure I can provide your pet with the time and attention they need. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. “Caelyn was so amazing with Cheddar! I had to have a surgery that took me out of commission for quite a few days and I booked Caelyn to walk Cheddar once a day during my initial recovery. Cheddar is usually very timid but warmed up immediately to her and they were best friends by the last day! She always came home tired and out of breath which is exactly what I needed. Caelyn also takes the cutest photos during the walks which always puts a smile on my face when they return to my house. Definitely plan on booking regularly with Caelyn :)”

I had some stuff going on with one of my dogs and Brian was very flexible and kind. My dogs have been very happy to see him every time he has come by and just walked out the door for their adventure without even looking back to see why I wasn't coming 😆 came back happy, relaxed, still asking him for peta and clearly had a great time! I'm really picky about who I let be alone with my pets and I can tell by our conversations and the questions that he's asked that he really cares to do the job right. That plus my dogs demeanor around him tells me he's a safe person to care for them when I'm not home. Highly recommend!

Sheena is so great. She's an excellent communicator and arranging bookings is always a breeze. Its apparent that she cares for our pup and he always seems so happy in the photos she sends. Shes been able to accommodate bookings when we've made last minute plans and we can't thank her enough for that. I would give more stars if I could.

Liza is great! Most importantly, our Abby loves her and Liza likes Abby an awful lot, too. Liza is reliable, responsive to questions and keeps me informed. She has been so kind during a family member’s serious health problems. Kylie is truly the best dog walker we could ask for! She is incredibly patient, kind, and attentive with Nanook, who absolutely adores her. It gives me so much peace of mind knowing Nanook is in such caring and capable hands. Kylie goes above and beyond every time, and her genuine love for animals really shines through. We’re so grateful to have found her—highly recommend! 🐾💙

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
