I have been petsitting and walking our family dogs for over 30 I believe that it is important to take each dog's individual personality and preferences into account when caring for them. I enjoy all kinds of walks, from strolls around the block to lengthy hikes in the woods. At home I have a cuddle bug Great Pyrenees , a shy Rottweiler/Shepherd mix and a very senior corgie/weenie mix. They are family and bring so much love and joy into my life. About: I’ve been surrounded by animals my whole life—dogs, cats, chickens, even a parrot—so caring for them is basically part of my DNA. I’m currently in school to become a dog trainer because working with animals isn’t just something I do, it’s genuinely what I love. I volunteer with a local shelter where I walk dogs, help ease kennel stress, and run playgroups for pups of all personalities. This year I even spent time volunteering at a dog shelter in Greece, which gave me hands-on experience with all kinds of temperaments and behavior quirks. I’m well-versed in positive reinforcement training and behavior modification, and I’m also certified in animal CPR and first aid—so your pet is in safe, capable hands. About: I’ve taken care of cats, I have 2 cats as well! While I was in college my roommates had dogs that I would watch when they would leave or couldn’t come home in time. I’m good with both both cats and dogs. Im currently working part time, I don’t think pet sitting is a job it’s so fun to do so I would love it as a side job. About: For several years I cat and dog sat for my cousins while they were on vacation, and I occasionally care for my friend’s 3 legged pitbull. For my last job I was I walking a wire haired pointing griffin twice a week. I did this for about 3 and a half years. Adaline was great with my cat, very communicative from the very beginning, followed all instructions, sent all updates with lots of information and photos. My cat is usually shy of new people, but felt pretty comfortable during our first meet with Adaline. Also, my cat is on daily medication, Adaline was able to give her pills. I would definitely book again and highly recommend.
This was my second time booking with Kayley and she is great! I have a cat who requires a little more work and has to wear a diaper but Kayley has handled it perfectly without issues or complaints. She is the first person other than friends/family who has watched my 2 cats and I feel very comfortable and confident leaving my fur babies in her care.
I've never used a pet sitter before so I was kind of apprehensive about how things might go but Rachel put my mind at ease with her confidence and pet-friendly attitude. My two kitties are super-skittish around visitors but Rachel made every effort to get them to come out of hiding. She was mindful of keeping their breakfast routine and refreshing their litter box and went above and beyond to hand wash their Delectables food bowls so there wouldn't be any lingering smells in the house when I returned home. She even ended up having to respond to a little bit of kitty 'urp', cleaning the spot. I would definitely have Rachel sit for my kitties again if I have a need in the future.
Sarah was really understanding with our very shy kitty. Cleo hid from her the whole time we were away but Sarah made the effort to ensure Cleo was safe and healthy. Sarah scoop the litter box, checked on the food and water, and just let Cleo know she wasn’t alone. Thank you!

sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
