I’ve cared for dogs with skin conditions, special dietary needs, allergies/sensitivities, food aggression, and I’ve administered medications of all kinds (oral, optic, subcutaneous, etc.). I’ve cared for geriatric dogs as well as puppies; shy, ‘aggressive’, scared, outgoing, and everyone in between. I understand proper leash etiquette but also understand that each dog is an individual; I am a fast learner and take direction really well. I love a challenge and have never met an animal, of any kind, that I didn’t immediately love. Not only am I well-versed in dog care, but I have also taken care of cats my whole life; special needs, kittens, and geriatric. For the last two years, I have cared for chickens, pigeons, ducks, fish, turkeys, and peafowl so I am excited to care for yours as well! I am currently unemployed and plan on making this a full-time job starting immediately. I am very flexible, have my own car, and can’t wait to meet your furry friend! I live in a large rambler with a completely fenced in backyard that faces the beautiful Wonderwood Park. Both my animal-loving mom and sister live here and would love to be a part of giving your furry friend(s) some extra love and attention. We currently live with 2 dogs (Littles who is a 16 y/o chihuahua mix—who just wants to be resting in his favorite spot, and Cheeto who is a 5 y/o American Bulldog/shepherd mix who is extremely submissive and loves to play), 2 cats (Lucy-3 y/o and Turtle-2 y/o, 1 pigeon (Lady-4 y/o), and 5 chickens (Vinny-6 y/o, Misty-6 y/o, Penguin, Pidgey, and Piglet - all >1 y/o). Our home is equipped with a series of gates to keep animals in/out of certain areas and we are more than able to accommodate any age, any demeanor, and any special needs. We have hardwood floors but have many rugs already down, with extras available if needed.
