About: I’ve always had dogs and cats in my life, and caring for animals has always come naturally to me. I’m an avid hiker and have been lucky to share many trails with amazing “trail dogs” over the years. I’ve also pet sat for coworkers, doing drop-ins multiple times a day, and I’m currently providing overnight care for a puppy—something I truly enjoy. Over time, I realized this is something I’d love to do more of. When I say “us,” I mean my little household too: I have a mixed-breed dog and a cat. My cat is gentle and friendly and gets along well with dogs. My dog, Ziggy, is my first male and a rescue from the pound. He’s been a challenge at times, but with patience, consistency, and lots of love, he’s made wonderful progress—and continues to do so. Because of that experience, I have a special place in my heart for shelter dogs and pets who may need a little extra patience, care, and understanding. I’d love the opportunity to offer that same compassion and support to your pets, helping them feel safe, loved, and at ease while you’re away.
