Cat Sitting in Boston Harbor

About: I’ve been around animals for most of my life and have cared for both dogs and cats. I grew up with pets, including a cat, two small cavapoos, a medium lab-boxer mix, and a large yellow lab, so I’m comfortable with pets of all sizes and personalities. I started helping with pet care when I was around 9 and began doing paid pet sitting jobs in high school. I have experience with walking, feeding, drop-in visits, overnight sitting, giving medication, senior pet care, and spending time playing with and comforting pets. I’m patient, gentle, reliable, and detail-oriented, and I always make sure to follow each pet’s routine closely. I also have my own car, which makes it easier for me to be dependable and flexible for walks, check-ins, and house sitting. I’m currently fully flexible and available for pet care in the Olympia/Lacey area, especially around Boston Harbor. I am available most days and times for dog walks and drop-in visits, with the exception of very early mornings. Pet care fits well into my current routine, and I have my own car, so I can be reliable and flexible with visits. I’m mainly hoping to offer dog walking and drop-in visits, but I may be open to house sitting depending on the situation and what your pet needs. I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet, so I always make sure to follow each owner’s instructions carefully. I pay close attention to feeding schedules, water, medication, leash rules, crates, gates, and each pet’s normal routine. I will keep dogs leashed outside unless they are in a secure enclosed space or the owner specifically says otherwise. I’m comfortable cleaning up after pets, picking up after walks, and making sure their space is left clean. I’m also happy to send photo and text updates so you know your pet is safe, cared for, and doing well while you’re away.

About: I have had pets my entire life. Both dog and cats and have a lot of experience in taking care of them. I have taken care of and provided medical care for a cat who was suffering from CKD and know how to provide fluids and care for this situation. I work full time. I can provide services anytime after 5:30p and on the weekends and holidays. If our schedules work out I will be reliable and communicate times that would work out for both. About: I’ve always had dogs and cats in my life, and caring for animals has always come naturally to me. I’m an avid hiker and have been lucky to share many trails with amazing “trail dogs” over the years. I’ve also pet sat for coworkers, doing drop-ins multiple times a day, and I’m currently providing overnight care for a puppy—something I truly enjoy. Over time, I realized this is something I’d love to do more of. When I say “us,” I mean my little household too: I have a mixed-breed dog and a cat. My cat is gentle and friendly and gets along well with dogs. My dog, Ziggy, is my first male and a rescue from the pound. He’s been a challenge at times, but with patience, consistency, and lots of love, he’s made wonderful progress—and continues to do so. Because of that experience, I have a special place in my heart for shelter dogs and pets who may need a little extra patience, care, and understanding. I’d love the opportunity to offer that same compassion and support to your pets, helping them feel safe, loved, and at ease while you’re away. I work full-time during the week, but I happily offer drop-ins and overnight care on weekends and holidays. If there would be a special need, we most likely could work this out. I care for pets based on their normal routine and your preferences. Whether in your home or during overnights, I focus on feeding, walks, playtime, and companionship, along with any special instructions you provide. My goal is to keep your pet comfortable, safe, and happy while maintaining the routine they’re used to.

About: Animals have always been an important part of my life. I've helped rescue nine cats and raised seven from kittens to adulthood, which has given me extensive experience with feline care and behavior. I love getting to know each pet's unique personality and building a bond with them through play, attention, and consistent care. About: Owning pets all my life has inspired me to go to school to find a career working with animals. I have a degree in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology, and I worked with Vetco to provide affordable vaccinations and other healthcare opportunities for both dogs and cats. I also worked as a zookeeper helping to provide care for ambassador animals at a forever home, and worked for outreach to teach the public why it's important to care for animals and the environment. I would be happy to provide care to your pets if you are out of town or do not have the time! I am able to care of dogs of all sizes and ages, as well as those with special needs. I can also administer medications both orally and by injection if needed. I live in an RV full-time and work as a remote tutor for K-12. My schedule is very flexible and I'm happy to help out! Maintaining order and following the requests from the client is of the upmost priority, so making sure that the dog is behaving as they would if the owner was home is incredibly important, from keeping the house clean to picking up any waste in the backyard, and other cleaning tasks.
