“Halle did a wonderful job taking care of my 2 adult cats while my partner and I were away for 2 weeks. It's so hard to leave them so long, but it was a great comfort knowing I had Halle visiting regularly to take care of them. Halle made a great impression on us, and more importantly on the cats, at the initial meet and greet. They are super friendly and easy to talk to. My cats are admittedly pretty easy-going, but one of them is usually super shy when strangers come over. Halle has a kind, gentle presence and my shy kitty warmed up to them immediately. It was a huge relief to see Halle interact so sweetly with my fuzz babies before we left. Halle asked questions I hadn't even thought of to make sure they knew exactly how to care for my cats. I can tell Halle is an animal lover and a natural and experienced caretaker. Halle was consistently communicative, sent photos with each visit, and left comments about how my babies were doing. When our automatic feeder got unplugged one day, they made sure to contact me promptly letting me know what happened and how they addressed it (they addressed it perfectly, I might add). They even offered to stop by an extra time to fix it or troubleshoot if needed. When I got home, my cats had clearly missed me, but I could tell that they had been taken care of and loved on. The litter boxes were clean, their water bowls were clean and full, my apartment was as tidy as I had left it, and the cats looked and acted as healthy as ever. Thanks, Halle! Highly recommend, and would happily book Halle again.”

About: I have been taking care of Dogs, Cats, and small Reptiles for a combined 10 years. I love to snuggle on the couch, go for walks, and chase the local squirrels. I have a full time time job my hours are 5am - 1:30pm Monday - Friday I also have a small gig job that ranges in schedule, will communicate hours when necessary. My two cats are pretty laid back, other than needing pets 24/7. Growing up and have had to manage many different types of pets, from super hyper and playful to couch potatoes.

About: I’ve always had dogs and cats in my life, and caring for animals has always come naturally to me. I’m an avid hiker and have been lucky to share many trails with amazing “trail dogs” over the years. I’ve also pet sat for coworkers, doing drop-ins multiple times a day, and I’m currently providing overnight care for a puppy—something I truly enjoy. Over time, I realized this is something I’d love to do more of. When I say “us,” I mean my little household too: I have a mixed-breed dog and a cat. My cat is gentle and friendly and gets along well with dogs. My dog, Ziggy, is my first male and a rescue from the pound. He’s been a challenge at times, but with patience, consistency, and lots of love, he’s made wonderful progress—and continues to do so. Because of that experience, I have a special place in my heart for shelter dogs and pets who may need a little extra patience, care, and understanding. I’d love the opportunity to offer that same compassion and support to your pets, helping them feel safe, loved, and at ease while you’re away. I work full-time during the week, but I happily offer drop-ins and overnight care on weekends and holidays. If there would be a special need, we most likely could work this out. I care for pets based on their normal routine and your preferences. Whether in your home or during overnights, I focus on feeding, walks, playtime, and companionship, along with any special instructions you provide. My goal is to keep your pet comfortable, safe, and happy while maintaining the routine they’re used to.

About: I've had dogs for as long as I remember. I currently have 5 dogs that live with my parents in Southern Indiana. They are dogs of all types of breeds and sizes, most of which we raised from puppies. The most recent dog, was found in the woods behind their house and I spent hours picking ticks off of him. I just moved to this area and I already miss my dogs so much. I truly love dogs and will take great care of yours! I currently don't have a traditional job so I am free pretty much anytime to look after your pups and give them the care they deserve! I am really good with dogs of all sizes. I will be available for daily feedings, walks, and will have the time to play a long as they wish.

About: I’ve had family pets my whole life and have taken part in their care. I also worked at a dog boarding place for about a year. I love all animals and Im looking to use any money I make from rover to help sustain living. I typically have Sunday and Monday off and I go into work at 6am every other day besides Saturdays so I could do afternoon walks or drop ins after work and anytime on my days off. I have cared for dogs and cats my whole life and I am confident in my ability to keep your fur babies safe and well looked after. I will follow any rules you have regarding your pets care schedule.

About: I love dogs, I've always had a dog. My kids love dogs. I am willing to work with you on when and where my services are needed. I'm available at all times during the day, I work graveyard at my regular job. For dog boarding, my husband is here at night while I'm at work but I only work two nights a week so it's rare that I'm not here. I would love to spend some time with your pup and will take care of it as if it were my own. I have experience with dogs as little as Pomeranians and as large as Alaskan Malamutes, from brand new puppies to senior dogs. I have owned as many as six dogs as one time.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs, cats, house birds, falcons, rodents, fish, chickens, ducks, and plenty of other animals since I was a child and have helped care for both young and senior pets I’m currently unemployed searching for jobs, so my routine is really flexible, only needing to set aside time for job interviews and family. I currently have the ability for extended house/pet sitting needs. I do not have the ability for boarding animals currently, however with the services I currently offer I am gentle and respectful of all animals, their owners, and the owners property.

About: I've been the go to carer for all kinds of pets (dogs, cats, senior animals.) for my family and friends since I was a teenager. I find that I have a calming presence that puts them at ease. I have some experience with training, mostly with previous pets. I'm currently in school and working part time. I have Friday, Saturdays and Sundays free. And Thursday afternoons free. If things go well here, I hope to have Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons free too. I have a fenced yard with lots of room to play and lots of toys. I no longer have pets of my own, so any animal under my care will get my full attention.
