“Halle took great care in our little fur babies! She sent us pics every day which really helped put my husband and I at ease. One of our cats is really picky with people and they actually went to greet Halle 😭 I will for sure be reaching out to her again in the future for any trips ❤️💓 Thank you Halle 🥰”

“Tae’Lor was amazing. She had great communication, keeping us informed on how things were going and worked with us on modifications. She was reliable and punctual. She is very knowledgeable about dogs and was fantastic with our pet. We will definitely use her again.”

“Sarah is a wonderful sitter! Booked her for two drop-ins with walks and my dogs absolutely loved her. One of my dogs is a little older and requires medication and she was very gentle getting her to take it. She’s very communicative throughout. Absolutely recommend Sarah!”

“Melanie did a great job taking care of my very unfriendly cat Daisy! She sent lots of pictures & updates, which I enjoyed getting. Melanie brought my mail in & took my garbage out to the curb for pick up too. She went above & beyond! I am so happy to have found her to take care of Daisy when I am gone!”

“Annmarie was fabulous! I would use her again! She is thoughtful and caring about your pet. Sent pictures and you can tell she cares for your family pet kindly. So glad to have found her!!! Thank you”

About: I’ve always had dogs and cats in my life, and caring for animals has always come naturally to me. I’m an avid hiker and have been lucky to share many trails with amazing “trail dogs” over the years. I’ve also pet sat for coworkers, doing drop-ins multiple times a day, and I’m currently providing overnight care for a puppy—something I truly enjoy. Over time, I realized this is something I’d love to do more of. When I say “us,” I mean my little household too: I have a mixed-breed dog and a cat. My cat is gentle and friendly and gets along well with dogs. My dog, Ziggy, is my first male and a rescue from the pound. He’s been a challenge at times, but with patience, consistency, and lots of love, he’s made wonderful progress—and continues to do so. Because of that experience, I have a special place in my heart for shelter dogs and pets who may need a little extra patience, care, and understanding. I’d love the opportunity to offer that same compassion and support to your pets, helping them feel safe, loved, and at ease while you’re away. I work full-time during the week, but I happily offer drop-ins and overnight care on weekends and holidays. If there would be a special need, we most likely could work this out. I care for pets based on their normal routine and your preferences. Whether in your home or during overnights, I focus on feeding, walks, playtime, and companionship, along with any special instructions you provide. My goal is to keep your pet comfortable, safe, and happy while maintaining the routine they’re used to.
About: I have had pets my entire life. Both dog and cats and have a lot of experience in taking care of them. I have taken care of and provided medical care for a cat who was suffering from CKD and know how to provide fluids and care for this situation. I work full time. I can provide services anytime after 5:30p and on the weekends and holidays. If our schedules work out I will be reliable and communicate times that would work out for both. I will work around your schedule and preferences to do house sitting and drop in services. Your trust and security is my highest priority when caring for your pets.
About: As an experienced dog sitter, I go beyond basic care by truly understanding each dog’s unique personality and needs. I have a natural ability to read their body language and adapt to their moods, ensuring they feel comfortable, happy, and secure while you’re away. Whether it’s administering medications, following specific dietary plans, or providing enriching playtime and walks, I tailor my approach to each dog’s routine. My calm and attentive demeanor helps even the most anxious dogs feel at ease, and I maintain clear communication with pet owners for peace of mind. Having cared for my own senior Pomeranian, Zeus, until he was 14, I am particularly attuned to the special needs of older dogs, including administering medications and adjusting routines for their comfort. I currently have an year and a half year old Yellow Labrador Retriever named cooper, so well experienced with puppies I’m currently home full-time, so I have a very flexible schedule and can give your pets lots of attention throughout the day. Whether your dog needs frequent potty breaks, long walks, playtime, feeding schedules, medication, or just extra cuddles and companionship, I’m able to be there consistently. I love getting outside for walks and making sure dogs stay mentally and physically happy while you’re away. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I treat every animal like they’re my own and take the time to learn their routine, personality, and needs. I’m experienced with dogs of different ages, energy levels, and temperaments, including senior dogs and puppies. I always keep a close eye during walks, potty breaks, feeding, and playtime to make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for in a calm environment.
“Lisa definitely lived up to the other glowing reviews. She visited our house daily to feed, water and take care of the litter box for our two cats. She is reliable and even made friends with our often-shy Siamese kitty. We appreciated the daily pictures and reports cards while we were away on our week-long trip. We would highly recommend Lisa for your away pet-sitting needs! Hopefully she will still be providing here excellent services the next time we take a trip to visit family.”

About: I have experience with dogs from the puppy stage to senior stage. I have had big and little dogs. In my personal opinion I believe our animals deserve to have a good life too. I am currently an online college student so I am available most days. I try not to work as much on weekends but I am willing to if you need be. I walk dogs and play with them. I am not a certified dog trainer but I have had my fair share of teaching my childhood dogs tricks. I would care for your animals as much as they need.

“This was my first time using Rover but Vanessa and Eulalia made it easy. Even though neither of my shy cats showed themselves, they seemed noticeably less anxious when I got home compared to other times I've traveled and had a friend watch them. I will be a repeat customer!”

Rignall cat parents share their Rover experiences
Ali was a wonderful pet sitter! Sent great pictures and updates that made me feel in the loop and at ease while away from my cat. Ali is also local to the Boston Harbor area, as am I, and it was so nice knowing the person looking after my cat was nearby and could be at the house easily. I will absolutely be asking Ali back in the future!
