“Halle did a wonderful job taking care of my 2 adult cats while my partner and I were away for 2 weeks. It's so hard to leave them so long, but it was a great comfort knowing I had Halle visiting regularly to take care of them. Halle made a great impression on us, and more importantly on the cats, at the initial meet and greet. They are super friendly and easy to talk to. My cats are admittedly pretty easy-going, but one of them is usually super shy when strangers come over. Halle has a kind, gentle presence and my shy kitty warmed up to them immediately. It was a huge relief to see Halle interact so sweetly with my fuzz babies before we left. Halle asked questions I hadn't even thought of to make sure they knew exactly how to care for my cats. I can tell Halle is an animal lover and a natural and experienced caretaker. Halle was consistently communicative, sent photos with each visit, and left comments about how my babies were doing. When our automatic feeder got unplugged one day, they made sure to contact me promptly letting me know what happened and how they addressed it (they addressed it perfectly, I might add). They even offered to stop by an extra time to fix it or troubleshoot if needed. When I got home, my cats had clearly missed me, but I could tell that they had been taken care of and loved on. The litter boxes were clean, their water bowls were clean and full, my apartment was as tidy as I had left it, and the cats looked and acted as healthy as ever. Thanks, Halle! In the other hand, Kai is a medium size old doggy, he gets very excited with new pets but a few minutes later he just ignore them and likes to go back to take long naps on the couch. I have 2 friendly indoor cats, they mostly spend the day sleeping inside the bedroom or playing with the dogs from time to time.

Being in the position of needing pet care myself at times, I know how important it is to be confident in your sitter. I currently work from home 3 days a week. On the days that I go into work I will come home halfway through the day to check on your pets that I’m watching. Weekends are usually spent taking the dogs for daily outings. I can provide the importance of a partially fenced in yard. I am always willing to take your dog out on a leash if there is a threat of them running off. I love taking my pups out back on the acreage to run around. My 5-year old golden retriever and 13-year old basset hound will be able to accompany your dog in the yard :)
“I am an overprotective veterinary professional/Karen here... so I'm shocked that I found someone I'm so confident saying this about, but... Jennifer could NOT be a better, safer, more reliable, more loving, more careful and cautious pet sitter. My best friend and I were in Olympia for a few days recently for an event, and I needed somewhere for my three beautiful black crazies to be for that day. I'd spoken with some other pet sitters, but wasn't impressed, and I was getting more and more stressed out about it. Luckily, at the 13th hour, someone my daughter works with recommended Jennifer. As soon as we walked into her home, I knew I'd found my "person". Her entire house is set up to be a doggie Disneyland. Her yard is ENORMOUS, fully enclosed, and has natural ground. (Which is great, because I always worry about ACL injuries when dogs are running on concrete or slippery grass.) Within the first 10 minutes of being there, my autistic adult dog relieved herself completely, which she hadn't done throughout the prior three days we were traveling. And then... the most amazing thing of all... she started ZOOMING around the yard! I have had her for five years, and had never seen her like that before. She was like a bullet, flying through the air, unstoppable in her joy and speed. Her puppy brothers struggled to keep up with her, but couldn't. It was one of the most beautiful things I'd ever seen. I felt so, so comfortable leaving my three babies with her. I'd never felt that comfortable with anyone. Beyond that, Jennifer was friendly and incredibly flexible. It's clear she really loves dogs. I told her that if I ever make the 1,000-plus mile trip again, it would be so that my dogs could visit her, and NOT so that I could see my daughter. Joking...? I think not. Thank you, Jennifer! About: I have had many types of animals my whole life! Dogs, cats, opossum, Guinea pigs, horses and a coyote pup. I treat animals like family members & give them lots of love and attention. I am retired so when I am dog sitting, I will be home the whole time. I give my dog all the attention she needs & I will do the same for yours. I only sit 1 dog at a time so that way your fur baby won’t ever feel left out. I have a fully fenced back yard where my little Morki/Shih Tzu loves to run. My husband & I make sure one of us is holding our little dog if someone comes to the door. We have dog seat belts if we need to take the dogs for a ride. I have a safe place to walk the dogs where we can stay on a sidewalk. No dog will be more cared for.

I provide a clean, calm, and pet-friendly home where dogs can relax and feel at ease. I carefully follow each owner's instructions for feeding, exercise, medications, and routines. I always supervise pets, use secure leashes during walks, and make sure they receive plenty of love, attention, and care. As a service member, I understand the importance of responsibility, reliability, and treating every pet like family.

I currently own 3 cats and 3 dogs. My family takes care of them when I am away so I am able to help you with your pet care needs. I am also comfortable around chickens. My pets are a part of my family. I would treat your pets like my own. I love going on walks with dogs and teaching them new tricks. I only take 1 client at a time. I work from home Tuesdays to Fridays. So as long as I have connection to Wi-Fi, I am able to spend my day with your pets. I will respect your home and leave the space as I found it. I do require meet and greets for overnight care bookings. I am happy to help families beyond the radius I have set on rover however I do charge a gas fee of $20 + for locations more than 20 minutes from me. My work schedule is flexible. I work from home 4 days a week (tues-fri). I am able to step away when needed for walks/potty breaks. I will follow your directions and pet needs. I have a reliable vehicle to get to your home. I am happy to collect mail, packages, water plants, taking out trash and any other miscellaneous tasks. I am happy to provide status updates and pictures.

About: I love dogs and all Animals, I also have animal and human CPR training. I am in a great dog loving area. I enjoy dogs of all sizes and ages and have the flexibility to provide and care for any dog. I have a self trained therapy dog, Athena, who loves loves to play and run, as well as cuddle...on occasion. I am willing to do whatever it takes to meet the needs of your puppy, from a simple walk to, to a drop in visit, or making my home feel like a second home to your dog or puppy. About: I grew up with dogs and love dogs like crazy! In my house dogs are treated like honored guests. I love to snuggle with dogs and take them everywhere. In my life I've had many different types of dogs as well as a ferret, fish, a snake, and a few birds. I'm an advocate for any animal no matter what the shape size or species. I believe they all deserve a chance. I think this is just another way of helping out those people that want a sitter but can't afford Petco or other hotels.
