About: I've been a dog mom for 18 years. My dogs have provided me with companionship, loyalty, joy, structure, and unconditional love over the years. My first dog, Angel, was a Beauceron mix with a blue tongue. She was my best friend, my protector, my shadow. I loved her fiercely. She went over the rainbow bridge three years ago at the age of 14. About a year before she passed, our Kai Ken/Mudi mix, Cody Coyote, joined the family as her companion. This past summer, Corgi pup, Michael, moved in. My son's first official dog. We take regular walks together and they are always making us smile and laugh. I know how special pup companions are and I would love to help you care for yours. Daily walks with my pups are very important for me and for them. I need the movement, and they need to smell. On the weekend, I have more time to walk more pups, check on them, give potty breaks, or feed them. My pups have a fenced in yard and are able to take regular potty breaks every two to four hours. We take walks after I get off work. My pups eat breakfast before I work and eat dinner when my family does. I am available on weekends to give your pup/s potty breaks every two to four hours, up to three walks a day, and feeding in your home.
“This was my first time using Rover but Vanessa and Eulalia made it easy. Even though neither of my shy cats showed themselves, they seemed noticeably less anxious when I got home compared to other times I've traveled and had a friend watch them. I will be a repeat customer!”

About: I have been taking care of Dogs, Cats, and small Reptiles for a combined 10 years. I love to snuggle on the couch, go for walks, and chase the local squirrels. I have a full time time job my hours are 5am - 1:30pm Monday - Friday I also have a small gig job that ranges in schedule, will communicate hours when necessary. My two cats are pretty laid back, other than needing pets 24/7. Growing up and have had to manage many different types of pets, from super hyper and playful to couch potatoes.

“Tammie is awesome! I hired her to do drop-in visits for my cat Lindy while I was out of town. She was really communicative with me throughout my whole trip, even sending me daily photos and videos so I could see first hand how Lindy was doing. I felt like Lindy was being well taken care of each visit which I so appreciate.”

About: I've been surrounded by animals my entire life and have over 12 years of experience living on a farm, caring for pigs, cows, chickens, dogs, and cats. While I love all animals, dogs and cats have always held a special place in my heart. Friends and family know me as someone animals naturally gravitate toward. Whether your pet is energetic and playful, shy and reserved, or a senior who needs extra patience and gentle care, I take the time to earn their trust and make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I'm dependable, responsible, and understand how important it is to know your pet is in caring hands while you're away. I'll follow your routines, provide plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, and affection, and I'll keep you updated with photos and messages so you can have peace of mind. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family members and caring for them as if they were my own! I currently have a flexible schedule and spend my time between Olympia and Mukilteo. I generally work remotely, so I am available to house sit during the week or a mid day walk or check in on a break! My aim will always be to keep to your fur baby's schedule regarding walks, potty breaks and feeding. I'll provide plenty of cuddles and love when they are missing you.

“Ashley was a wonderful cat-sitter! She was a great communicator and gave me such peace of mind while I was away. I would 100% recommend Ashley to anyone in the Pensacola area looking for someone to take care of their pets.”

About: I have owned dogs my entire life mostly big dogs and some small dogs, so I can handle what ever is thrown at me. On top of that I own my own 3 year old husky which I got when he was 8 weeks old and trained him. If you know dogs you know huskies which are a hand full themselves. I am an open book completely. I am a server am my shifts are very flexible, depending on how my scheduling goes here I may or may not need to serve as much. If I am coming to your home I would treat your animal and your home with the upmost respect, following your rules. I would take them on walks, a hike, the dog park, I would play with them and enrich them. Even in my own home I would do the same
“Lisa definitely lived up to the other glowing reviews. She visited our house daily to feed, water and take care of the litter box for our two cats. She is reliable and even made friends with our often-shy Siamese kitty. We appreciated the daily pictures and reports cards while we were away on our week-long trip. We would highly recommend Lisa for your away pet-sitting needs! Hopefully she will still be providing here excellent services the next time we take a trip to visit family.”

“Branden took excellent care of our senior dog and our two cats. Our dog is not often left behind, so we were concerned about how she'd do now that she's older, but Branden had her relaxed and happy, and she did great. The cats always do great with him - lots of fun, lots of great photos. Thank you Branden!”

“Ashley did great with our two high energy dogs (labradoodle & black lab)! Really appreciated her detailed report on the drop-in and how they did during her visit. Will hire again for drop-in visits and dog care when needed!”

“Brian did a great job checking in on our dogs! We were gone on a day trip and just need someone to stop bye and let the dogs out. He handled them very well, took pictures and let us know everything was okay. We will definitely we reaching out in the future 💗”

“Willow was such an excellent sitter for my dog. She sent plenty of updates and really made us feel comfortable being away from our pup. I couldn’t have been happier with her service and I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter.”

About: I’ve been around animals my whole life and have experience caring for dogs, cats, horses, goats, and chickens. I’m available in the mornings and on weekends for walks, drop ins, playtime, and lots of attention. I’m happy to work with your pet’s normal routine and make sure they get plenty of love and care while you’re away. I’ll care for your pets like they’re my own. About: I’ve always had dogs and cats in my life, and caring for animals has always come naturally to me. I’m an avid hiker and have been lucky to share many trails with amazing “trail dogs” over the years. I’ve also pet sat for coworkers, doing drop-ins multiple times a day, and I’m currently providing overnight care for a puppy—something I truly enjoy. Over time, I realized this is something I’d love to do more of. When I say “us,” I mean my little household too: I have a mixed-breed dog and a cat. My cat is gentle and friendly and gets along well with dogs. My dog, Ziggy, is my first male and a rescue from the pound. He’s been a challenge at times, but with patience, consistency, and lots of love, he’s made wonderful progress—and continues to do so. Because of that experience, I have a special place in my heart for shelter dogs and pets who may need a little extra patience, care, and understanding. I’d love the opportunity to offer that same compassion and support to your pets, helping them feel safe, loved, and at ease while you’re away. I work full-time during the week, but I happily offer drop-ins and overnight care on weekends and holidays. If there would be a special need, we most likely could work this out. I care for pets based on their normal routine and your preferences. Whether in your home or during overnights, I focus on feeding, walks, playtime, and companionship, along with any special instructions you provide. My goal is to keep your pet comfortable, safe, and happy while maintaining the routine they’re used to.
“Maria was a thorough and excellent sitter, as her first home visit client she took care of my fur child with lots of love. He was recently neutered and she took great care of him in my absence, spending good quality time with him making sure he was healthy and fed. Maria sent pictures often and gave text updates outside of rover. Maria is one I would recommend to anyone that is in need of a pet sitter.”
“Regan did a nice job making friends with our kitty and her daughter played nicely with her as well! Communication was always prompt and she followed through with our routines and wishes. We would be happy to book with her again.”

Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
