I was super anxious that all Cooper would do is freak out and bark at her for the entire four days we were gone and she was house sitting for us. He was all calmed down in a couple hours and was totally normal and sleeping with his head in her lap by the end of the first day. House was clean and she brought my very heavy UPS delivery up to the house, which I didn't expect at all. Highly recommend!”

About: Had dogs my entire life. Lost my last one a few months ago. Have fenced in yard for them to run. And plenty of toys. I’m retired so I have nothing but time to watch your pet. I walk every day would love to have your dog along for the walk. I have a fenced in yard , and a.good sized back yard with squirrels that need to be chased. Your pet will be welcome in our home.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats since I was 15. I’ve also had experience training puppies as well as walking dogs. I love to spend time with the dogs I am watching outside as well as snuggling up with them in the house. I also enjoy playing with cats and am responsible with keeping up with cleaning litters boxes, making sure all pets have plenty of water, and they are fed in time according to their schedule. Your pet will be loved and taken care of as if they were my own while you are away. :) I am a current college athlete working a part-time summer job as well as taking a short 6 week summer course (in the mornings 4 days a week). I will be in Lacey Washington from April-June and then will be moving back home to Bend, Oregon for the rest of the summer. In Lacey and Bend, I will have time to do drop-ins to check on your babies as well as give them potty breaks and/or take your dogs on walks (if your dog has experience running, I’d also love to do that!). I can also stay at your house if you need someone over night. My schedule will depend on the week, but I will keep my Rover calendar updated with my available times/days, and I am open to having a regular walking schedule with clients. I am not open to taking animals at my own place as I am currently in a on-campus apartment with not a lot of space (especially for dogs). But I will take very good care of your house whether that is me doing drop-ins or staying at your house. I can water plants or complete other tasks if you need while I am staying there. I can crate your animals while I am away if you need, and I will always make sure to stop by every 4-5 hours (depends on day, I will have basketball training, class, or work) to let them have a potty break and to ensure they have plenty of water as well as being fed on time. Your home and animals will be well taken care of!

About: I’ve had a wide range of dog in my lifetime, from Rottweilers to Chihuahuas, as well as being able to care for multiple at a time (i’ve had 4 dogs at once, with all different kinds of personalities, as well as different ages.) I have complete availability until mid-august, as I will have to go back to school. I have 3 dogs that I currently help take care of at home, so I am very used to the schedule pets require, since I tend to be responsible for them. I can provide all basic needs for your cat or dog, including feeding, playing, walking and crating! My goal is to make your pet feel happy and comfortable in my care!

“Alana took care of my two small dogs for one week. Alana met with us 3 times prior to this sit. First a meet and greet a month prior. Then a week before her start date, Alana stopped by and left a well-worn shirt for our dogs to get accustomed to her scent. The evening prior to us leaving she and a second Rover came to go over house/dog sitting details and the logistics of the handoff that would occur midway through our trip. I enjoyed Alana's texts and photos. I felt comfortable that the dogs were well cared for. She gave them the medicine that I requested. At the end of her stay, the other Rover came; this handoff went smoothly. I will use Alana again in for future dog sits.”
