This was our first experience with Rover so I'm not sure how it usually goes. We appreciated Cattleya taking our booking last minute as it was for 3 weeks and she responded right away. The dogs (an elderly one that doesn't do much but eat (no meds), sleep, and wants to be pet and then the 7 year old hound mix who doesn't have to be taken on walks just played with in the backyard, fed, and pet) were alive when we got back and we are happy about that because we were in a last minute bind. We don't appreaciate that we got numerous complaints from more than one neighbor while we were gone because she left our hound dog out at night for at least a few nights (different neighbors sent messages that it was continuous barking for at least a few nights and past midnight). She was booked as a in-home sitter which we thought meant over night precisely so that our dog would not bother our neighbors, but maybe she would work out better if she just did drop-ins because she also has a business she runs from her home and cannot move all the equipment kind of thing. We had checked the blocks on Rover as well as written her a note (a thorough 3 page note on how to take care of the dogs/access things in the house) to reiterate what we went over in our meet and greet becuase it is alot ot take in for one meeting. She had our return date/time of 8pm but she was not there when we got back (I'm not sure what's usual as this is our first time using Rover) nor did she leave a note nor text to give us any rundown about how it all went with our dogs. There were a few other things but this experience was way over priced.
I have two very clingy cats, one of whom is a senior with some medical issues. I came home to happy cats that barely even noticed my return. Thank you Cattleya for taking good care of them!

Cattleya was wonderful with my two dogs and house sitting during my vacation. She is incredibly responsible, communicative, and patient with both dogs. It was great having her as a reliable, trustworthy sitter while I was gone! I look forward to having her watch my dogs in the future.
So happy to leave our dog and indoor/outdoor cat with Cattleya. Not sure they even noticed we were gone! 😀
Catt was amazing with our three kitties and house! We came home to a clean home and very relaxed and happy cats, and look forward to working with Catt again next time we travel.
