Then a week before her start date, Alana stopped by and left a well-worn shirt for our dogs to get accustomed to her scent. The evening prior to us leaving she and a second Rover came to go over house/dog sitting details and the logistics of the handoff that would occur midway through our trip. I enjoyed Alana's texts and photos. I felt comfortable that the dogs were well cared for. She gave them the medicine that I requested.
